That's from the front view

And guess what the green tomatoes started to go ripe

Which they hadn't till the spiritual pepper showed, it's nature further developed

Although from the side it looks very much like Corbyn the labour scummy leader

Siting down when room to stand

That my deep spiritual thinking for this week completed

Grown by my spiritual hands

modern spirituality music and vertical

Society in general seems to be growing tired of these vertical relationships. The bottom part of the pyramid is crying out for a new structure, as it suspects – often correctly – that the top of the pyramid doesn’t always have their best interests at heart.

And this discontent is affecting people’s view of religion and spirituality. 

The rise of the ‘spiritual but not religious’ group is in part a rejection of this vertical theology and the religious institutions that it gave birth to.

It seems to me that Jesus challenged this Old Testament vertical theology.

 Through his teaching and lifestyle he demonstrated that we no longer have to go to the temple, because Jesus is the temple, 

and with his Spirit in us, so are we.

roads in Malta oooppppssss

Well one thing get me worried is riding in a bus in Malta the traffic appears to myself to move too fast. The roads are adequate but not developed for speed,
this is one result often witness in the beautiful Island of Malta.
Still rather be there then in this cold place called England,it very chilly at present.
The harvested vegetable grown over the summer nearly exhausted,
been trading,swapping,and giving further receiving veg for the last few months.
Been loads of fun and created a welcome kinda community feel.

my mother at her recent birthday with four (4) generations her daughter Diane and in laws with granddaughter and great granddaughter.

try to make sense of life but strives forward and the day has gone it another season
changes happen and l personally feel a bit of lose.As it really been that long...have we really been so out of touch..ten years gone by still a prayer is offered..is it my prays that are not listened too...nothing in life is unconnected..well not sure l can accept or believe that..faith grows health fails purpose and nature unsure

Interesting look at spirituality in 2016

You would think in today's cynical world, dominated by science and technology, there would be little room for traditions such as fortune telling.

Point out how you wouldn't like to this street during fair week.
but lets be honest its very handy for soccer and the park.


Dismiss any claims that it would be ace because you'd just go out your door and you'd be at the fair.
 Consider that the residents probably get a bonus off the local council for the disruption.. Insist on having a look round first and walking for an hour before try something to eat, then perhaps a ride. 
of course always see an ex......enough here they either look brilliant or appear to have 10 kidz.

 Mention how they seem to put the prices up as it starts getting busy.

which is not true as at my age and health l never stay passed 20-30.

 Mention how much more expensive it seems this year.

"HOW FRECKIN MUCH"

 yes l have said this every time l have been, 

"you can tell it's Hull Fair week" when it starts to rain.of course it always rains and gets very bitter chilly.

Watch several people take on nigh-on impossible stalls - like the hoopla that has a PlayStation for a prize but the hoop would only just fit over it using laser precision machinery.

End up winning again a goldfish in a plastic bag

Speculate how much loose change must be underneath the rides.

CHECK YOUR OWN POCKETS ALL THE TIME

Get roped into going on rides that make you feel ill for the rest of the evening.

worse still you disown any family and friends who feel sick, go home you jest.

 Wonder how all the fortune tellers have been visited by Cannon and Ball and similar minor celebrities.

how come you don't trust them

ask them to predict tomorrows weather and they get angry

 Buy a burger, a hot dog and some chips.

you know already on a diet, but the smells get to me, 

pay for big squeaky inflatable hammer.

despite putting away carefully it gets a leak.

 Stock up on candy-floss, nougat, brandy snap, coconuts, pomegranates and bags of sweets. 

 which share for weeks and keep putting the nougat you attempt to eat back in its wrapper week after bloody week.

 Completely forget that coconuts and pomegranates are a third of the price if you went in instead local superstores this is real you are walking along the huge wide street become dismayed when you see the same stuff, but cheaper,(it all tat by the way) even though you knew it would be.

 Decide not to get the fair buses and instead take the mile and a quarter hike from the station over the flyover in the cold October drizzle, against a tide of parents pushing prams with massive Spongebob balloons tethered to them.

but really glad getting home and although not like you recall so happy been round the Hull Fair this year

Resolve never to go again, as you are now £65 lighter.

territorialy spirits over Hull

Well the news most of residents of  northern town by the sea knew,Hull is the least prosperous city in the UK. Now waiting for something l don`t already know.

Prosperity UK stated "deep rooted failure by all levels of local and national governance" the 1970s collapse of the fishing industry greatly contributed to the city's "loss of prosperity".

The report further highlighted authority boundaries were an issue,

we was once moved to a new county called Humberside, that was difficult and unhelpful.

Then moved back to east riding also called east Yorkshire.

Hull had a "striking poverty of aspiration."

Once the langue of the `principalities of Hull group` which talks about the in-depth attitudes and the governing spirit. Territorial Spirits have gone out of fashion theologically, yet l feel we need to always be aware of such issues and Powers.

nor is there a factual reflection hence the whole Helen and Rob issue on Archers aired on radio 4

this went on for a very long time some comments were hostile

Is this the way we go and transmit issues in the new millions l feel not helpful factual or useful

Malta and the Muslims

Now, in what seems to be a copy of the Msida stand-off, the Muslims have taken to hold their prayer meetings mostly out of door. And predictably the Patrijotti will be following them there to oppose their demand for a mosque or prayer building. Again, and possibly with more reason, they refuse to be made to travel all the way to Paola.

One assumes that the Patrijotti have obtained police permission to hold the protest and one also assumes that the blatant and criminal anti-Muslim behaviour of the Msida protest (such as ridiculing the Muslim ban on pork) will not be allowed.

The issue however will not be resolved by protest and counter-protests.

Bugibba, Qawra and St Paul’s Bay are today one of the most culturally and ethnically-mixed localities in Malta. The primary school there has the most diverse children in its classrooms in Malta, speaking so many languages and yet playing with each other and relating to each other in ways that only children seem to be capable of.

There are, of course, multiple issues involved in this protest, layers upon layers of single issues from bedrock antagonism towards migrants, tense relations between different ethnic communities, all the way to integration and assimilation. President Coleiro Preca asked to meet the different leaders of the communities. The Dominican fathers in Valletta have offered to throw open their buildings in Valletta so that the Muslims can hold their religious observances.

In these days of quite similar tense flashpoints in many other countries – from Germany to France, there is mischief in the air and the situation may degenerate, which will makes us all so much worse.

The issue has been swept under the carpet for many years with so many official refusals to do anything about it, from the number of migrants arriving in Malta, to many people who should not have been allowed to stay somehow evading and staying. Many migrants,. Muslim or not, are decent law-abiding people who work hard to provide for their families. As usual in any group of people, there are also some bad apples among them.

The group opposing them is not much different from the extreme-Right anywhere in Europe. We are seeing how, all over Europe, such groups are growing and growing and now look poised to enter government in so many countries in Europe.

The experience of so many other countries shows us there is probably no clear way of composing the issue. Malta is, for all its faults and deficiencies, still a Christian country and its history for the past millennium or so has been in the forefront of the battle to safeguard Christian Europe. For all that, our DNA, our language, our mentality is typically Middle Eastern.

Vision of beauty

Feeling a bit wretched....not alone

Catherine (at youth event l was leading) was asking myself recently
 about losing faith and feeling wretched.

My response was that sometimes it really is hands clenched with fist up to God at times,

Plus we can offer sheer anger at what you feel 

How we feel is important

what you may see at that time...

That's really important

l feel that it's allowed to be angry

because without uncomfortable stuff there is no growth. . .many people of faith been there felt wretched ,pretty useless 

further some of the psalms point to such feelings and expressions...

also it may not be a short journey ..hope this is faintly helpful 

Because sometimes people of faith are not very good at accepting the pain and the grief

sorry if it is not what need this day but important to sate plus recognise faith is hard
