modern spirituality music and vertical

Society in general seems to be growing tired of these vertical relationships. The bottom part of the pyramid is crying out for a new structure, as it suspects – often correctly – that the top of the pyramid doesn’t always have their best interests at heart.
And this discontent is affecting people’s view of religion and spirituality.
The rise of the ‘spiritual but not religious’ group is in part a rejection of this vertical theology and the religious institutions that it gave birth to.
It seems to me that Jesus challenged this Old Testament vertical theology.
Through his teaching and lifestyle he demonstrated that we no longer have to go to the temple, because Jesus is the temple,
and with his Spirit in us, so are we.

'It was a very nice kitchen.'
Seems impossible but it was forty years ago that Adam, Bono and Edge first got together in Larry's kitchen to talk about starting a band,

"my very favourite band U2

it began just after l had found faith l journeyed thru the music and the development.
great lyrics, spirituality,CD from Vinyl.social commentary, live Aid,faith God Jesus music friendships formed due to love of the music.
Still the same feeling from the whole event music and the wider stuff
even l worked in Dublin."

One day Larry Mullen pinned the legendary note seeking to form a band, on the notice board in Mount Temple Comprehensive.

Going places...

Some people just don't        know how to be Kind.         Age doesn't season them,       time does not mellow Them.  Try ...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
