Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has announced a public inquiry into the deaths of Melvin Cravitz and Adrian Daulby, who were killed during the terror attack at Manchester’s Heaton Park Synagogue in October 2025.
My first memory of a visit to a synagogue was to one when as a child went to sing with our school Choir, all really remember leaving stuffed with sweets and enjoyed wonderful cakes. Later perhaps about 8 years. Going into my first paid employment working for a beautiful human being, who had survived the concentration camps. the camp was actually liberated by the Russians.
Spoke about that event here before plus in my Life often.
This great man who apprenticed myself into Life.
This great man who apprenticed myself into Life.
He made me proud and affected who l am today. Cherish his memory alongside my own precious son.
Hatred begets hatred which further begets more hatred but please don't forget.... now socially acceptable to show disdain or intolerance towards the Holocaust. It begins with words. “So if you hear something… even if it’s a little thing, you’re at the gym on the treadmill and someone makes a crack, say something.” Labour Party has made “softcore” Holocaust denial acceptable.
I found this to be true even Polish people had open conversation leaned towards ..`oh yeah that's not true`..but don't imaging it is going to be easy to speak up. Will not be easy to suggest someone owns an untruth. Never acceptable to query
a lie or state your truth there will be a consequence and that may well cost.
But going to ask you this are you ready ? Are you brave enough? Are you `conucchies` large enough ? All around are people trying to rewrite history, challenging every truth.
- This is the society that begins with dismantling individual values,
- prevents gatherings where agreement conversation growth and discord happen organically.
When when the individual has been muted, the community meets less often. this happens ...
- The very fabric of society is threatened and eroded..
