"You are everything and everything is you" is playing on repeat in the playlist.

So how have you been on the hottest day this country had experienced in really long time. Summer of 1975 saw myself in Robin hoods bay begging on youth work l had been expelled from school 12 months before and this was a formative summer period. Was this generation falling in love understanding what that meant?.

Buying our music? Working learning about being apprentices into life? Youth centre plus school exposed us to role models that would teach us values about life. We didn't know very much but felt like we knew so much more. Guess we didn't know then that we were going to know much later on in life.

But our playlist was mainly tamla and northern soul. Plus odd progressive track like..

' Best of my love ' Eagles.

"You are everything and everything is you" is playing on repeat in the playlist we have found to get us through this moment as we fell in love. Next year would be the summer of punk culteraly 1976.

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
