Churches are meeting together simply to avoid truth

 So nearly got swept up. This Church meeting for praise evening. This church walking with other to pray for area. All in same age range...retired and older.

Then it dawned on myself. Fewer meetings. Fewer members. Few attendees. Less outreach. Less variety. Still irrelevant no relevance. Disguising the obvious ...we're failing so we mask the very clear fact. Not empowered others. So clear we had no participatory approaches. When we've had power , further leadership roles kept it too those like ourselves.

Dieing ,we are sick unhealthy and weak just frightened to admit. Perhaps already it's far to late.

Perhaps we need to return to the garden, must impress others, with life from words we follow plus examples of sacrifices Jesus and early Church presented. 

Where are the relevant issues people are facing?  That the Church as gathering of the believing community can offer. What is the substance of what this faith nurture and purpose offers?
