also what a crap and rubbishy ending to George Gently over the new year period .the programme Gently takes place in 1960s Northumberland, seldom seen in British TV drama and containing a large amount of iconic locations,Durham Hartlepool,north east coast.along with unique dialect which affects the image of characters. 
Then a weird plot which used local history by suggesting an illegal slot machine racket at the heart of its story, The final shootout takes place in a village cathedral.

The style, which peppers the pages with moving stories and ever-lengthening lists or questions, is interesting in that l want to read on hoping to get some more answers but keep getting more lists

the other issue for me is bit like monologue would  very much like you are listening ,actively listening to it. As book it doesn't work. It's appears postmodern, which isn't a bad thing in itself. But its cultural fit does not exempt us from asking how true to the bible it is,reckon it a good start and then you may want to lift off into deeper stuff.

however where do you find the time and where do you start

Jesus said blessed are the poor.....he mean`t..

In my own view many people have gotten used to asking about the rating of a fridge or freezer, in relation to energy saving.But there is no certificate for buildings, people where l live do  feel that efficiency is a priority,but unsure we can support the monetary ways to achieve this.  

                                                                                   Poverty is not just about being money poor
that a huge factor, but isolation and being detached, they lead to not being invited to the table.
Also many providers of some support are very very limited.
Often the enablers do not have a wider vision,the reason they volunteer to help are correct reasons,however this is enough but what we don`t do is partake in wider debate,they do not explore political response nor do they want to engage further in the issues.
Often Christians and this l know and remain consigned about,choose not to develop further ,so yes we provide a meal at cheap cost,then this gets taken over by another class,but we don`t challenge a system that is forcing people to be in poverty.
Nor do we work to understand better the isolation,
feeling of detachment,
lack of community cohesion,
family breakdown,
spiral into debt,
all linked to poverty.
Christians get confused about what Jesus meant about ¬blessed are the poor¬
surly he was saying that`s the way to be,
 `look how lucky they are`,`aim to be like that` `going without and not having enough` `feeling hungry` and getting into `bad situations everyday"
                                                                            thats not what Jesus was pointing towards.
He meant that they had little else to prevent them from engaging with deep thinking stuff
fewer possessions 
fewer distractions
less stuff
well perhaps not
we must disengage with poverty being acceptable 
being the way ahead
we must do more then provide a meal at `nitebite`,or a cheap cafe options
we need to listen to the experience and wrestle with those other issues
get people invited
bring them to the table
listen 
let them have a voice
hear what they have to say
always befriending
poverty can leave you uninvited
not present

living in a underdeveloped area

swans and other wildlife

 Swans which landed in Gozo can still be enjoyed by the public, people should not cause them distress,Unfortunately, BirdLife said, 

some of the birds, especially the juvenile ones, are visibly weak probably due to the lack of food apart from being stressed by the attention they are getting with hundreds of people visiting the area every day.

 All these factors, together with the worsening weather conditions, will probably mean that the swans will stay here for the coming days.

it going to get cold in Malta what is the world coming to?

Although there is not much that can be done except letting nature take its course, there still are some recommendations which one can follow including not getting very close to the birds and not feeding them any white bread.

              This is of course a action we found to be true in the UK we take out all sorts of stuff and feed them in parks and other places

although we tend to feed them very directly even taking the food out of our hands.

Since swans are to be found near water, 

                              Seriously Swans and water who would believe that?

if given bread this often tends to become moist, or even completely wet. Because of that, the bread gets sticky and can also block the throat, gets stuck inside the beak and prevents the swan from feeding further, and in some cases even to be able to drink water or breathe, which of course can have fatal consequences.

In the UK we see swans everywhere and appear to treat them unspecial but in Gozo Malta they are not very common,hence the response to the visit.

Small things like the music listen too
neighbourhood live and exist in
own family plus friends and contacts therein.
The authority of the Holy Spirit
Relationships with people plus my walk with God and Jesus are going to be the most important.

As we look at our situation sometimes we want it to be well perhaps just different 

Being dropped off in my home town city the 2017 City of Culture

You may think it's seen better days

Except it has not

It still at the end of the line

Still a former fishing town

That was badly bomded during the War

Still neglects the homesteads and the occupants of that famous City 

by the dirty river filled with Mud called the Humber

Still place l grew up

Place of memories

Somehow l cannot see the culture year changing that 

Because so much is finically out of pocket for those living there 

who by and large are money poor

There been a lack of communication with these people about 

what they want from a city of culture

They are going to get what they always get

The chance to have things done to them 

By so called experts

The money will be spent

The year will roll by

The `toffs and hairyarsed basket` cases running the show 

Well . ..they will be more enabled at the end . . with more cash for themselves

The community of Hull 

They will just get what they are given....at a cost

Fireworks and fresh air 

That will be the legacy of the year of culture for the good folk of Hull

Wish l knew what it feels like to be free 2017

As l drove out of our village this morning awaiting all was a Police also known as Filth camera van,

But you see the drug dealers will still walk free!

The dope fiend pushing his stuff round the street's will still be fine!

The burglar that worked last evening will still sleep well!

Thieves walk unaffected

But the motorist a few miles over the limits will be punished.

Hassled,fined,and treated like the scum of the earth.

The journey is long and feels slow distant and removed

Dispirited

            Like living on Wasteland
