illness is not an indulgence

‘You can have a rigorous system and still treat people with respect and kindness’. ‘I know when my mum goes for assessment it will go badly because of the way they speak to her’. The reality of poverty. The shame and way you are treated is worse than the lack of money.


Threats ,humiliation, wrongful advice,lack of concern...it all put out to embarrass and remove the poor,vulnerable those who require compassion and grace...Virtues not evident in the system!
