more and more dodgy theology

Jesus never said the poor you will always have with you
He said follow me, do all God commands show mercy be humble plus look after your neighbour as you would yourself then all will be well . .
if you don`t
then the poor you will always have with you . . .

meanwhile back in Hell/Hull

Very bluntly, Hull is being well and truly stitched up over funding by this Government.

now let try and put something we do not already know

Ministers have deliberately calculated the level of grant funding to Hull so that councillors would face grim options on the council tax and service cuts, no matter what efficiency savings, managerial cost-cutting and depletion of reserves they undertake.

I am forced to ask who elected these Ministers and where is our Arad spring
even old fashioned eastern Europe is having it out on the streets about injustice greed and corruption keep reading if you don`t believe we have corruption in the grim north

The game is rigged against them.

The most disadvantaged areas of the country, mainly in the North, are having the deepest town hall funding cuts from this Government. The wealthiest areas, mainly in the South, have the least severe cuts. Some even get funding increases.

These are the same areas of the country that gained the most from the Government's income tax cut for millionaires.

TIME FOR ACTION ANYONE
no serious anyone willing to be involved in ACTION

I M ready if you are!

Austerity hasn't applied to everyone

How is it poverty?

yes the Snow returned and we went out walking at the weekend l switched off the heating just for the day and enjoyed the sun rays thru the doors and windows as also did the Dragon who sits in her cage enjoying eating the crickets            Today on the news it stated that 42% of children in one area of the UK live in poverty          locally they say its 32% but how is it measured the couple talking on the TV were a challenging example as their home exhibited large TV with surround sound system and large toys from the kids all in the front room with fish tanks on the kitchen table    now we will judge but this did not look like poverty to anyone better examples    the deputy prime minister came on the TV to talk about poverty and went on about how it is still easy to get to University if you want too ,there appears to myself to be a large disconnect between image of poverty how it is understood and the reality    as a non conformist l want justice and mercy for all but have a strong biased to the poor

time for real action

ITS A SECRET AFFAIR
TAKE OUT SHE AND PUT THIS GOVERMENT
But she don't care
because she know's she's right
And you know we're only two steps away

I said
That this is the time
This is the time for action (time for action)
This is the time to be seen (time to be seen)
This is the time for action
Time to be seen

I said
That this is the time
This is the time for action (time for action)
This is the time to be seen (time to be seen)
This is the time for action
Time to be seen

Time to be seen

time4action

The Church speaks into the situation many are finding themselves in,Poverty tough choices.
but l have to ask
when are we going to move from debate and statements to tough choices?
when we approach the subject of ACTION
Action where the goverment and its supporters are living in fear!
fear that if they do not listen they could face severe consiquences

they would listen then !

‘We often hear talk of hard choices. Surely few can be harder than that faced by the tens of thousands of older people who must “heat or eat” each winter.’

And in a highly political intervention, the Church leaders add: ‘We must, as a society, face up to the fact that over half of people using foodbanks have been put in that situation by cut backs to and failures in the benefit system, whether it be payment delays or punitive sanctions.’

The bishops conclude: ‘There is an acute moral imperative to act. This is a national crisis, and one we must rise to.

‘We call on government to do its part: acting to investigate food markets that are failing, to make sure that work pays, and to ensure that the welfare system provides a robust last line of defence against hunger.’

The letter comes after Mr Cameron rejected the complaints of Archbishop Nichols yesterday.

The Prime Minister declared welfare reforms ‘morally right’ and insisted they have actually given people ‘hope’ by encouraging them into work and off a life of benefits dependency.

He wrote: ‘Let’s get the facts straight. Archbishop Nichols’ claims that the basic safety net no longer exists are simply not true.

this is the time to for action

Because its time you realised...
That this is the time
This is the time for action (time for action)
This is the time to be seen (time to be seen)
This is the time for action
Time to be seen

wake up everybody Syrian people hurting

Wake up everybody
No more sleepin' in bed
No more backward thinkin'
Time for thinkin' ahead

The world has changed
So very much
From what it used to be
There is so much hatred
War and poverty, whoa, oh

Wake up, all the teachers
Time to teach a new way
Maybe then they'll listen
To what'cha have to say

What’s happening in Syria is an abomination

Prof Hawking said the international community could no longer “watch from the sidelines” as children died in the country’s bitter conflict, warning humans would “surely cease to exist” if they did not cling on to the fundamental principle of justice.

The director of research at Cambridge University’s department of applied mathematics and theoretical physics made the intervention in an article for the Washington Post.

He wrote: “What’s happening in Syria is an abomination, one that the world is watching coldly from a distance. Where is our emotional intelligence, our sense of collective justice?

“When I discuss intelligent life in the universe, I take this to include the human race, even though much of its behaviour throughout history appears not to have been calculated to aid the survival of the species.

“And while it is not clear that, unlike aggression, intelligence has any long-term survival value, our very human brand of intelligence denotes an ability to reason and plan for not only our own but also our collective futures.

“We must work together to end this war and to protect the children of Syria. The international community has watched from the sidelines for three years as this conflict rages, engulfing all hope.

“As a father and grandfather, I watch the suffering of Syria’s children and must now say: No more.”

About 140,000 people are estimated to have been killed in Syria since the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad began in 2011.

Wake up everybody
No more sleepin' in bed
No more backward thinkin'
Time for thinkin' ahead

The world has changed
So very much
From what it used to be
There is so much hatred

when the NHS goes pearshaped.

This has got to be one of the hardest things l have recently done well first of all l feed the crickets who then get eaten by the Dragon ..Then l feed the Cat who later goes out and reappears the next morning wanting more food after the cat ..l feed the fish they are a real issue for me..Very fearful they are not well or the water is not clean enough indeed the filter needs washing out charcoal fitted and pump cleared it quite a responsibility

Oxygen and blood do not flow around my body has they should but somehow l have got caught in the cross fire between the local Cardiac nurses and the Surgeons and my own Doctor. l am supposed to go every week for the next 8 weeks to the clinic twice a week ..however with the knowledge of Pharmacist.. the Doctor… and the Key Surgeon, l stopped taking one of 7 Tablets l am supposed to take. Hence the Cardiac team not letting me attend the clinic (due to protocol) ,and despite the insisandence form other health providers that l attend. now l am a strong individual and confident but find this hard to accept, NO butts. . . it stalemate hey what about my health all to often individuals are ignored this is not mega hard to resolve but it shows what happens when the NHS go wrong

sometimes just looking out to sea

sometimes just sit looking out to sea thinking no need to fill my head with thoughts l try to look out and listen God knows me my inner most and he sighs and reflects into my being

something spiritual

So get into the habit of doing something we regard as spiritual. Walking along the street to path like above, across the Dene. Health issue prevent me going as far as used too go. But time and effort still walk during these periods. In my watchtower moments talking but also listening to God, sometimes just quiet, sit and look across the Dene out to sea. Listen.

There can be a disconnect with what some regard as spirituality. when l was last on a weekends in the lakes someone described the most impoverished spirituality l have ever come across, basic This spirituality was about a relationship with God only.
We are all spiritual beings even if we do not recognise or believe in God ,Allah, Jehovah, or a personal Jesus.
We are all spiritual sorry that like bad news to some but it true nevertheless
we are all spiritual beings, all made in the image of God

come on you hull city 5764543

Football reporter and ex Hull city player Peter Swann states and l Quote
`He was outstanding at the Stadium of Light, keeping a clean-sheet against Sunderland, which as a former Newcastle keeper, will have delighted him even more.

But for me McGregor is the first choice keeper and when he is fit and available, he should be the one starting in goal for Premier League games.

Harper has started both FA Cup ties this season at Middlesbrough and Southend and I would expect him to keep his place for the trip to Brighton on Monday.

And I would expect McGregor to return to the starting line-up for the trip to Cardiff the following weekend.

It’s just the way things are.`

Stevie Harper (lives near me),
Still great professional, true sportsman, and comes across as a being full of humanity, in a sport often felt to be removed from the normal lifestlyes experianced by footie followers
Now I do not like this trend for looking back but here a moment of truth
FORTY years have passed since the release of Zinc Alloy and the Riders of Tomorrow by Marc Bolan and T.Rex. This album came as the glare of Glam was beginning to fade. Glam Rock was one of the most outrageous, hedonistic and colourful eras in pop music history. It bridged the gap between the hippydom of the late sixties and punk of the mid to late seventies. However short lived glam was, it left an indelible mark on the youth of Great Britain

Now when is the frankie Vallie revivial gonna take place

wet windy wintery in our neighbourhood

Locally lt`s the Crads who
knock over the bins

Well the eggs chase the bacon
round the fryin' pan
and the whinin' dog pidgeons
by the steeple bell rope
and the dogs tipped the garbage pails
over last night
and there's always construction work
bothering you
In the neighborhood
In the neighborhood
In the neighborhood

Holmatic tradition or more Dodgy theology from `spiritofthestreets`

As to preaching at the present day, we can clearly trace the influence, in many respects, of Scholasticism, both as to matter and form. In matter a sermon may be either moral, dogmatic, historical, or liturgical—by moral and dogmatic it is meant that one element will predominate, without, however, excluding the other. As to form, a discourse may be either a formal, or set, sermon; a homily; or a catechetical instruction. In the formal, or set, sermon the influence of Scholasticism is most strikingly seen in the analytic method, resulting in divisions and subdivisions. This is the thirteenth-century method, which, however, had its beginnings in the sermons of Sts. Bernard and Anthony. The underlying syllogism, too, in every well-thought-out sermon is due to Scholasticism; how far it should appear is a question that belongs to a treatise on homiletics. As to the catechetical discourse, it has been so much favoured by Pope Pius X that it might be regarded as one of the characteristics of preaching at the present day. It is, however, a very old form of preaching.

anyway that what someone been buzzing me about so here a few thoughts
there is a system error in the way we share services on Sundays and the church has not woke up to this however as time is running out we urgently need to understand this piece of dodgy K.W. theology people should not be expected to sit and listen to another spout of for up too 45 minutes while they sit listening
Interaction
Communication
Discode
Arguments
Conflict and heated debate
Agreement
Actions
The later is a break away from Homiletic (Holmlatic) tradition
We have been brought up not to argue with the person in the front of us on a Sunday
But often what they say is a disconnect
Elmet ticliker stated
Most of what is said on a service does not have value with those listening
Action
Debate
Argument
Church should be like this
A hot bed of discussion debate agreement
Agreement
Action
Shared belief
Value place with those doing the sharing

why do the poor keep getting poorer?

so what did we learn from the great 'benefit street debate' C5

we learn't that edwina curry and katie hopkins were seperated at Birth.
that the facts around 'benefit' are not as good as a lie
we still have to have a serious debate

we missed the statement that needed to be debated
85 people own 3/4 of the worlds wealth?

Rev Steve Chalke made the fact l keep going on about!
'there has yet to be serious discussion about a painful and tough subject!'

Why do the poor keep getting poorer?

30 years been going down a hill of professional community and youth work,
l have witnessed the issues getting worse,
still l stand among the poor.
Asking,
Debating,
Blogging,
S M E R social media ethics researching,  (I know)

People of faith seek an alternative

whats the point of Vicky Beeching

What’s the point of Vicky Beaching?

Firstly she invented herself and tried to impose herself on the Christian southern softies as a singer

Failure

Failed

So desperate around 2009 maybe the wrong date but she was scheduled to sing why the freck do we want a singer at the `youthwork conference`.

Sheer delight she was `too sick to sing` they played the odd track from her then album

They were right `she was too sick to sing

Then she appears on TV as a journalist Please another failure.
failed
TICK THE BOX

Then it Theologian on SKY T.V paper review

Enough already failed twice failure ticked the box

No

Back again this morning as wait for this your gonna love it “Internet ethics researcher`.

This is one desperate woman

Please personal plea here Miss Vicky `failure` Beaching enough already l can`t keep turning off every time you reinvent yourself

Here an idea

Go away spend a few years working in a hard northern environment reflect, get a sense of God there, and write about it in your own diary. That way you do all you already tried to do and without the sick warbling that never passed as singing.

Or perhaps grow some T%*S.

Either way whatever you choose enough already.

She like the British equivalent of Orange housewife Gretchen Rossie".

the debate is on TV tonite

New research from Homeless Link indicating that around 4 in 10 young people become homeless because their parents are no longer willing to house them, reinforces our recent calls for Government to reconsider proposals to remove Housing Benefit for under-25s.
Young and Homeless 2013, based on a survey of 169 frontline agencies (homelessness charities and local authority housing departments), reveals that more than half of young people find themselves homeless because of relationship breakdown.

homelessness
abuse
voilence
mistrust
broken relationships
poverty
the benefit system
uneducated
unskilled
urban sprawl
poor housing
alcoholic misuse
labelled
ignored
forgotten
disrespected

1984-4014 my journey has had these issues proffesionaly and personaly as a backdrop
it pains me deeply

Benefits Street's White Dee is set to go face-to-face with Katie Hopkins in a live debate tonight (February 3).

The pair will form part of a panel to discuss benefits in the UK, alongside former London Mayor Ken Livingstone, ex-Tory MP Edwina Currie and former model Annabel Giles, who previously lived on benefits as a single mother.

O'Grady said: "It's one of those programmes to get Middle England 'up in arms'. These people are the sacrificial lambs on the altar of light entertainment and they have gone willingly: a smart tongue has got them to say all sorts and it is a very unfair representation of unemployment in this country.

"A lot of people do not choose to be on benefits and this is portraying everyone on benefits as doing it because they want to, not because they have to - it's shocking."

Asked how he would reduce the benefits bill, he explained: "Create more jobs for a start and raise the basic wage - it's appalling. You'll get people saying, 'Why should I come off benefits and go and do that job, lose an extra £30 a week and work myself to death 11 hours a day?'

"So raise the basic wage. Iain Duncan Smith was born with a silver spoon in his mouth."

WELL here my fourpennys worth why are we not attacking the real thieves in the temple politiains football stars bankers police commisioners employment staff who force people of benefit onto poorly paid unskilled work so has to look good themselves
here a question
why do we need on average 3 securtiy guards at signing on positions
fear
threat
oppression
YET THE CHURCH IS SO QUITE IN THIS DEBATE
that a real worry for myself

A Waller family journey in pics again

from a time so long ago reminds me that life travels on this fast journey till it almost past then you worry about legacy plus what will happen to your family when you are not there seldom do we worry about the washing up and the lastest music listening too
