its life kev and we have to experience it!
Two contrasting images, which also reflecting something about how l am feeling
one is a search lite at Flamborough
In a rural setting doing what is has to do..nothing very special just getting on with the day to day experience ...that us this is me at present..trying to be a light in a specific setting on a daily business.
Their an event in the life of Malta at present that uncomfortable...3rd Car bomd this year killing a journalist that also something we experience...
sadness and protest ,being upset...
sharing another`s grief..along with the unexplained.
A week and a day after the killing of Daphne Caruana Galizia, we are no nearer a solution as to who killed the journalist. We are floundering. The enormity of the murder defies interpretation
All in the rich tapestry that we live called life and its drama not always welcome but still arrive for us to handle

Like how they were. . . .
Sometimes you just want things how they were...
a return to what was..the good ole days..
But reality is that not ever going to be...
l struggle with Desert island disc..how do you narrow music to one sample..oh and then one track to rescue from the waves..not possible.
but l yearn a little at present for few of the old things. My faith is always deconstructing think it all through but basics stayed the same
one lord

Must be simple in lots of ways as my methods professionally stayed same.

2017 British University Free Speech Rankings, published by spiked-online.com, depressingly show that every one of the 24 leading research universities in the Russell Group is either actively censoring ideas on campus or chilling free speech through intervention. Inevitably, Christians are among the silenced: last month, the junior common room at Balliol College, Oxford, banned the Christian Union from its freshers’ fair, citing the possible “harm” their presence could do to newly arrived undergraduates.

| not sure about this little fellow but he got a great creator |
To pro-life students, who are disproportionately likely to be Christian believers, this will have a familiar ring. “It would make me feel threatened in my own university,” complained the Oxford student who led the 2014 campaign

I consider Your heavens
Heaven is a real place where the people of God will live one day. In fact, heaven is where God and the angels live. John 14:1-3 even says that Jesus is in heaven preparing a place for us to live. In heaven, those saved by God will have new bodies without the curse of sin! There will be no one who is blind, deaf or lame in heaven (Isaiah 35:5-6 and Philippians 3:21). Although Jesus builds houses in heaven, the Bible also says that those saved will also build their own houses and inhabit them as well as plant and eat from vineyards (Isaiah 65:21). Most importantly God will be in heaven and He wants to be your friend. He wants to dwell with you and wipe away all your tears (Revelation 21:1-4).
We only get a thumb nail sketch of Heaven from the bible, due to events not just at present, but witnessed several times when young life ended.Concern about life endingtheir is expected often tears, deep sadness, pain even for many . . that hard to write , without full sorrow, but we know it's true.Personally do not think people prepare for death, but further add that very few appear to think about big stuff .deep stuff . . .what next stuff ...
. . . .Heavens that says many not one . . .

trying to read again....this is five books unfinished..sad
Johnathan Livingston Seagull (JLS), is what l am trying to read at present
the story of a seagull,(yes a seagull) who is no ordinary bird.
It may be related to my Son Mattys hobbies/interest in wildlife and especially Orthanolgy.
Unlike the others in his flock, he wants to learn and experiment even more with flying and isn't happy to accept their mundane lifestyle.
He wants to perfect the art of flying until he's the best he can be. However, in the process of seeking his higher purpose, JLS is cast out from the flock and left alone.
This eventually leads on to some of the greatest lessons he's experienced and through his work and practice he learns to love even those that outcast him and see the good in every one of them.
Apart from an uplifting and encouraging story, this book has a host of underlying moral and spiritual messages for readers to take away and apply to life.

It deals with opening your eyes and seeing beyond the day-to-day activities,
of having the courage to stand by your beliefs and begin to understand who and what you really are,
and the art of learning to forgive and love unconditionally.
This is a real classic, a book to read, keep and treasure,
To re-read when you need a reminder about the important lessons in life.
It's a book that could help you break free?
life can be constraining you should always try to follow your dreams,
your Dreams like main may have to be redreamed.
its pretty 70`s and there is a soundtrack by Richard Harris, which l am currently sourcing, well trying.....

l had strange sensation that some one asked me about my home around 19.00 that evening. l kinda spoke to that presence...those kind of sensations feel strange to hear.when the call came (l was like most in our family expecting her time had arrived). Mum had been ill for a while. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.she had visits all week, The last words that heard Mum speak where after `short worship` act she sat with a cup of tea, before saying these words.....what a lovely day....

Heaven
Wish you were near,
I wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
WORLD GOING ONE WAY LITTLE OLE ME GOING ANOTHER v43
Neocolonialism, neo-colonialism or neo-imperialism is the practice of using capitalism, globalization and cultural imperialism to influence a developing country in lieu of direct military control (imperialism) or indirect political control (hegemony)
So here a few more words l can add to my deconstructing as my faith journey progresses. Along with all the other oppressive title`s, applied to people of my faith we can add Neocolonialism.“microaggression”.
Oxford University college banned members of the Christian Union (CU) from its freshers’ fair, claiming that Christianity is used as an “excuse for homophobia and certain forms of neocolonialism”.
One of the organisers of last week’s fair at Balliol College, Freddy Potts, claimed that the presence of CU members would be “alienating” for students and constitutes “microaggression”.
The move led to a backlash from Balliol students who called it a “violation of free speech” and “religious freedom”.
So here a few more words l can add to my deconstructing as my faith journey progresses. Along with all the other oppressive title`s, applied to people of my faith we can add Neocolonialism.“microaggression”.

Wish you were near
Bought a postcard, on the front it just said
Heaven
Heaven
With a picture of the ocean and the beach
And the simple words
he wrote her
Said he loved her and they told her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were near,
I wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello",
I miss you so, wish you were
here"

LIVE YOUR LIFE
It has been (and remains), very challenging period for all my brothers, sisters along with me.
Was embarrassed as teenager growing up around few things. Stuff that feels unimportant now, like being eldest of a large family. Further coming from council estate. Then it's town of Hull. Poverty was evident not something we identified with nor did we or others understand the issue.
Life had to be lived, experienced not analyzed closely. Be it among family, community, Church, or the City, were we lived.
Growing older realized how blessed l was, belonging to these groups, large family. Spoken often about the Church grew up among and the important faith journey that took place there also.
But do not think spoke too much about our family. Mother and father remained together until Dads passing few years ago he became ill with dementia, however the care Mum gave out was lesson for any who observed the care ,attention, and love displayed.
She like many mums , encouraged us in understanding correct behavior, it was done quietly and informally.
Today like many these past few weeks she is ill, surrounded by loving family, nurse, the bodies she inhabits is damaged and cannot be repaired. But mum ,Rita, still jokes away the pain. In Hull, with her son and my brother Graham.
The Peace of God, which passes all understanding is required now, the understanding about these words are needed now. some

Some of you reading this will know about lose, you know about
endings.
Life is hard, we do not know everything, do we make mistakes in our family, faith, friendships and City life ? But live the LIFE among all the struggles we face. Live your life.

Perhaps Kevin W,the only religious book on Christianity others will read, really sorry Kevin may not be good enough . . .

Hard to accept that this is a heron on the beach getting an eel, it was helped by the crow standing near by and then both enjoyed the meal. Someone went out to capture this image ...so we can enjoy
This faith of mine has been with me since before made some commitment to follow Jesus, wrestle with some stuff around justice, the treatment of others wrestle with own Monterey position about value hold so close.
Peace has been what wish for others, do not fear death but wish peace for others not sure how will be ending this life.
Just have this faith that what believe is what experienced, tried to follow the Lords teachings.
Perhaps it the only book about Christianity others will read, really sorry if that true, as am the best l can be, however may not be good enough . . .

We listen differently to music on vinyl
We listen differently to music on vinyl the crispness of the sound was produced with more emphasis on quality
As we listen differently
when digital, which is produced more of a fast track method which does not capture the organics, technically we are discovering that the old ways was better
we listen now on I pods mobile equipment and smaller devices hence the quality of Vinyl on a system with larger speakers amplifiers and other stuff creates different experience.
Sometime we do not notice
also we get used to sounds being more personal and smaller
As humans that true how we listen to each other,
It an area we need to improve upon. We do not listen very
well at all to each other.
