LIVE YOUR LIFE

It has been (and remains), very challenging period for all my brothers and sisters along with myself.
l was embarrassed as a teenager growing up around few things.
Stuff that feels unimportant now, on being eldest of a large family.
Coming from council estate. The town of Hull. Poverty was evident but not something we identified with nor did l or others embrace the issue.
Life had to be lived, experienced not analyzed closely. If it be among family, community, Church, or City, we lived.
As l grew older realized how blessed l was, belonging to these groups, a large family. Spoken often about the Church grew up among and the important faith journey that took place there also.
But do not think spoke to much about our family. Mother and father remained together until Dads passing few years ago he became ill with dementia, however the care Mum gave out was a lesson for any who observed the care ,attention, and love displayed.
She like many mums ,encourage us in understanding correct behavior, it was done quietly and informally.

Today like many these past few weeks she is ill, surrounded by loving family, nurse, the bodies she inhabits is damaged and cannot be prepared. But mum ,Rita, still jokes away the pain. In Hull, with her son and my brother Grahame.

The Peace of God, which passes all understanding is required now, the understanding about these words are needed now. some
Some of you reading this will know about lose, you know about endings.
Life is hard and we do not know everything, make so many mistakes in our family, faith, friendships and City life. But live it among all the struggles we face. Live your life.

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
