does anyone have an old Tardis

...Does anyone have an old Tardis?
one that's not so good
perhaps parts missing..
even a bit of rust . . .not new , blue or fancy.
May even be only good enough for just one last trip,
myself  the passenger, would need to take me just short little distance.
From where l am.
Away from this present moment to around 4 days ahead of here and now.
I will only use it for this one time, lord.
doesn't` even have to bring me back to now.
Anyone have an old Tardis
to take a mate ,wee short journey ,
please... leaving about now.

Anyone have an old Tardis.Leaving about now.
Just one short journey from here .

Nuclear War Games

Watch this episode now on 4oD Nuclear War Games: Channel 4 Dispatches In the midst of a turbulent post Arab-spring Middle East, Israel's threats of military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities have raised fears of a confrontation between the two countries. This film, which has obtained exclusive access to Israeli theoretical war exercises, provides unprecedented insight into Israel's internal tensions concerning an attack between Israel and Iran which, if escalates, could have major implications for global stability.
The film features exclusive access to a theoretical exercise, a 'war game', conducted by the INSS - an Israeli think tank made up of senior Israeli experts and former political and military leaders - the results of which are fed back to the Israeli government.
Dispatches explores the views of those who are both for and against military action and demonstrates how some elements in Israel believe Iran would retaliate - providing a valuable insight into the likelihood of any military attack.

Will arab spring lead to a global spring even reaching us in the North?

Not Not Interested

Not really interested in the American politics
it more important what is happening in Syria, Pakistan,
Europe.
it not that l dislike them
l just do not feel we should be so generous with the time
given over to America by the BBC
I heard someone saying there youthclud stayed up and got excited about the election in America
really
no that is emotional
blackmail
why would kids from our backgrounds be so involved in such politics
not care for events and the killings in Syria
or the challenge facing everyone in the middle east.

l not interested in the music scene
some of the music on x factor is so now and uninteresting
but will not be worth listening to in 5 minutes
there no real message
lot of  Karoke tracking

not always sure

when you first begin your journey
your not sure of who you are
l was foolish in my younger years

life can confuse you
with its winding moments
my memory fade`s and harden
as the years slip away

life is such a earnest labourer
time is such a pretencion neighbour
as l look in the mirror as the lines around my eyes
all those meanings in the moments
now lost like footprints in the sand

l hope to see you again someday
but if l don`t hope l see you in heaven

big issues

out and about in our area yesterday had a long slow walk and fed the donkeys

a picture of my brothers and one sister l do not know when it was taken but must be around 1978 l will check l spoke to my brother Ian yesterday about hospital and morality big issues

ON THE PLEASURE OF LOOKING IN RECORD SHOPS

the freckin snows arrived, anyway l was already out so l hid in the city centre and it blew over,
recently l have been looking for a record called `cooler then me`
l found it on a various artist dance CD
really happy!
This is going to become a thing of the past
going to a record shop,
looking thru the vinyl,
CD,
tapes,
To find a track that got the juices going
also bought a CD  l heard in the summer
the latest Beach Boys CD.
`What god invented the radio for`.

love in need of love

l really miss the original Roz but sometimes l go to a place called Rosies although truth be said it`s  not the same, one of lifes pleasures (as indeed was time with Ros),                      a coffee and cake

Love is stranger then fiction
Is higher then a mountain
Is what dreamers live for

love is, higher than a mountain
love is, thicker than water
you are this dreamers only dream

a summer song

getting ready to do something they describe as `cool`
going to sea on a little trip real mix
of 11 -16 year old kids from our colliery town

Everyday I watched you walkin'; walkin' by my window pane.
From the first time that I saw you baby, I knew I'd never be the same.

I wanna give you my lovin'. Could you ever love me too?
But you never seem to notice me, or what I'm goin' through.
It's all up to you.
Everyday I hope you see me, maybe look at me and smile.
But you always seem to look right through me.
I just break down and cry.

Lil Chris Jordan and Kev,
these 2 lads were great mates
always footie and laughing
they fell out big time
The song is a real summer flash back called `it`s all up to you` by Jim Capaldi.

all at sea Nicky Jordan
Joe Denise amber and the rest
I wanna give you my lovin'. Could you ever love me too?
you never seem to notice me, or what I'm goin' through.
It's all up to you.
Come on down to my street baby and let me make you feel a part of everything I have to offer you, of everything inside my heart.

climbing up a north sea cliff
 at thornwick bay
Kev Shaun +Joe

I wanna give you my lovin'. Could you ever love me too?
But you never seem to notice me, or what I'm goin' through. It's all up to you.
I would give you the sunlight baby, to keep you warm the days grow cold. And the love we have together darling,
It will never grow old any more.
Oh baby, it's all up to you.

Everything comes apart Hull city at top of the tree...you know the rest.

Driving home yesterday these words from Martyn Joseph excellent song came on my CD and l played it 3 times in a row. So funny, very moving, ...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
