Sunday we are changing a little the type of youth church, hence once month we are having more discussion focused meeting this will be called `scared space`
also open to anyone who wants to join us for jacket potatoes and hot dogs.

5 until 7 on Sunday evenings once a month, chance to share bible teaching,have food and fellowship.Open to all. This week we examine the question

what does God expect of us?

l asked one of our girls "what do you think of that"?
not all that impressed l thought it was a bit boring my sen.

Summer was it so long ago?
Days are real busy at present, incoming long winter days. Which are supposed to be short.
Feel frustrated going out at 8.30 a.m.coming home about 22-00 or 23-00 in evenings at nite.
Well all people serviced.
Taxes me mentally l don't always realise how tiring it can be.
Multitude of problems, concerns, issues to share. It's my vocation but worthwhile . Discovering lot of hurts around.

l love this image it one l see often when finishing work during the winter

then theres the walks just behind our back gardens `upcanada` where we live.
been getting some really interesting wildlife coming closer to our homes searching for food

into the wild

watched an ace film called into the wild
it is very moving with supered soundtrack from guy who used to front pearl jam
l was moved by the story
basically it a young lad who leaves home to be challenged by nature he just wanted a journey to spend time in the wilderness and discover who he is.
it also about faith
relationship
avoidance
truth
material belongings
youth being young
if you get the chance to watch this film
please do so.

The young people are not able to meet due to me being away and others snowed in so will make up to them next week.

the weather is very menacing and slightly threatening
chill factor is now minus 10
wind is biting thru your skin
last evening so snowballing got outa hand and name calling also got outa hand
l wonder how to break the chain it like the weather it sneaks up and then affects everything
we don't prepare
by ignoring the little things that get outa hand we end up with a really difficult situation that is hard to police

we heard that around

All our relationships
transport
shopping,
entertainment,
work,
worship
death
family
took place within

15 miles of where we were born.

Gender equality.

Developing something called tough issue
where we promote talking points by having set of postcards printed up.
One side quotes about tough issue along with one of our young person view other side of the postcard has picture of our young people.
The first one is relating to the NSPCC topic of girls,  research in to suffering at hands of boyfriends,
its a tough one but challenge has to be faced and examined.

sometimes you just feel like your slip sliding away

l think the local councils should be hung up for the way they have neglected to perform during cold spell
which has come about in winter
these issues get me angry and troubled
