Minister Refalo will be meeting with Commissioner Christophe Hansen and Commissioner Costas Kadis to present the historic motion for the sector.
In this context, he said, the Minister will be asking the European Commission to assist Malta with special funds to address these damages and thus help farmers, fishermen and other workers in the sector.
Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights Anton Refalo will be soon presenting a motion in Brussels highlighting the damages suffered in Malta due to Storm Harry on the fishing and agricultural sectors.
ARE you kidding me..... I see little except wee bit of wind damage no one lost life nor was anyone injured. No property damage further no one was fishing Agriculture not affected by coastal winds. This is corrupt false claim from corrupt political mafia.
This is again Malta's corrupt politics exploiting falsehoods to gain financial reward. While own people struggle to get by on low incomes while third world workforce remain exploited further. Really quite unacceptable practices.
