Keir Starmer has acknowledged the Jewish community will again welcome the arrival of Judea's new year `Rosh Hashanah` with a “heavy heart” .Yet again thoughts turned again...sorry again...
To hostages , who are still held in by Hamas, allegeable in Gaza.
This sacred moment invites us to pause, to consider the year gone by, and to look ahead with hope and resolve.
It been nearly two years since October the 7th. I still not been able to process many issues happening. Do know this World is lot unsafer, worse for the divisions.
Astounded at fact Jewish persons are attacked publicly. Witnessed in city of Hull east Yorkshire Palestine action to bring further disharmony. No efforts for peace.
Not surprised that those in authority been found out to be biased against those who actually suffer the most. Suffer most economical suffer when migrants attack girls at dance contest's. Suffer when cutbacks take away services. Suffer when housing not available. Suffer when they are rejected for employment opportunities.
Yet the very same people, ( from actual experience), held hands out welcomed Jewish people seeking Asylum. Worked with them , for them, among them.
Asking where is the hope?
