All sorts stuff around us take our memories, thus reminding each person about perhaps a time, a place, other people. They educated us about history of where that person was born.
Tell us something about how place got formed, perhaps who visited bringing terror along with death. Statues are erected to former rulers. Great people are immortalised. Events then input the daily journeys past such places.
It part also of our journey. We forget, perhaps we don't visualise buildings that surround us, or impact us and we often recall.Nor do we Build on what happened. Journeys forged information into what we've discovered.
That beautiful view we often see as we begin our journey. Old lines no longer carry trains but still have a start. Many reminding anyone listening about 'back in the day'.
It was better every one was going somewhere. Heading for better place in those good old days.
Just different, Just better. Just not the now of where we are, nor who we are.
We are never going to be ' Back in the day'.
Never, the journey never goes back, never.
