SOME HEROS WEAR HEAD SCARVES.

January 1968, fourteen Hull fishing vessels have been lost whilst at sea. In five of these incidents all the crews were saved, the other nine involved a loss of 3 lives. The Hull public, although horror stricken in the past, have always treated these tragedies as part of the hazards of the fishing industry.
Hazards of the work.
Hazards of  vocation sense of calling.
Justice putting things too how they should be!
In Holy week explore passion where God comes alongside the most working class the most downtrodden.
Those left out are invited to the tables.
The Rich ruler in this holy week story is the Rich trawler owner. At war against head Scarf wearing wives of lowly fisherman.
The rulers of service exploited the workers putting lives at risk.
Fight is taking place.
Where the voiceless call out for justice. The prince of peace calls us to get involved
Decide this Holy week which cause are you campaigning around.

As Holy week progresses How are you reflecting upon justice ?

Happy, content, slightly frustrated, tired, bored. That's my five.

This image bring back memories of so many pleasant days listening to music, having simple cup of tea sometimes alone, even smoking December ...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
