So my theological session getting going.

Got asked today. Why was David such a ....(censored by me)... Answered Generally he was damaged.

How come God allows such character with bad traits to represent him?

The focus was on Old testament. But discussion mainly stayed with David and Samson, one a King the other a type of Judge. In OT Judge Dread vian.

What heard asked are ..Why OT families stories along with illustrations so wicked. They are flawed, Not good character traits.

Often Hollywood portrayal is pure glorified.

OT image is not broken, accurate record flaws are visible. Its Us, it's ourselves, our families, community we may exist among.

Do you recognise yourself, our tribe, local environment. Cultural norms.

Despite this God still calls us. Still recognises us, still values us. With flaws. With tempers, reluctance, way we are hesitant. Perhaps selfish desires and behaviour.

Like NT characters those traits still visible.Yet Jesus still choose people who are flawed to become, 'fishers of men'.

Shelter from October first storm

Got through the storm winds, rain, trees down promenade deserted. Evidence of ugly but or so very beautiful nature. Nature clashing in itself....

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
