Rugby player will not bend the knee recieves awful abuse along with threats......
While aknowledging the need to speak out against racial injustice, leading US evangelicals have criticised the BLM movement itself for promoting values which are “antithetical to biblical Christianity”.
Speaking on ‘The Good, The Bad & The Rugby’ podcast, Vunipola explained his clear position on BLM.
“We were asked if we wanted to take a knee or not, and what I saw in terms of that movement was not aligned with what I believe in. They were burning churches and Bibles. I can’t support that.
“Even though I am a person of colour, I’m still more a person of, I guess, Jesus.”
Israel Folau
Vunipola’s comments were made during a discussion about the backlash he received for a social media post he wrote in support of Israel Folau, who was criticised for saying that homosexuality is a sin.
Found that there lack of Communication COGNATIVE DYVERSITY...which leads to a group think type of mentality.
As people of faith l feel we need to listen being open to others views.
Now I know many will struggle with me here but l listen to others.
Hearing another's is not agreeing.
When engage we opening channels hence deeper discussion
May not like others view
But cuppa further chat goes a long way in a world
Closing its ears
Closing its minds
Closing hearts also
Let's hear put all...but that not what this monologist society allows so differant values ,virtues, faith beliefs get left out.
Find many Christian either retreat further
Or become louder......
Let's listen more.
Jesus did a great deal of this...mind to recall Woman at well....lady pouring perfume on his feet...Late night session with Pharoicees l..who l do not see as a secret disciple.
