lost and not found

LISTENED THIS MORNING TO MY ONE OLD RECORD
THE CRUTCH . . . . BY THE TIMES
5 MINUTES 15 ....
OF BLUES ,I SUPPOSE

If we could drain the North Sea for just one day, we would find amazing treasures.
It is no secret east riding coastline is eroding, with the clay we live upon eroding at 2 metres a year. Pretty visible when live ,walk, active local.
East Yorkshire once expanded further into North Sea, over the centuries, land has been lost to the waves, with it settlements both ancient and modern.
It can be distressing driving along the roads and for last few months just been fields of water.
Limited wildlife, real lack of trees winds wip up, cold chilly weather affects other factors in life.
been no efforts to address this issue, unsure why that is?

No comments:

Montalbano, “investigations are not what they used to be, uncertain, vague, contradictory, and scatter brained,”

Pretty disappointed in last Montalbano. Beautiful, engaging, draws me in,  stories with such interesting crimes, romance, topics, politica...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
