how do understand faith

so how do understand faith how do we explore faith from crossing the road to flying on-board a plane believing wind ,spirit ,the Lord is it all faith to a degree...?

 Does faith in something directly affect how we view,discuss, poverty,injustice,wickedness

SPEND OUR TIME

 Can we explore faith if we do not hold any
Can we have faith without belief.
