Robin Hoods Bay in 2016
teenagers dreams and time walked away
as the village sits in the sun
new tide washes away all the moments
Keep asking was life easier
felt like moments where longer
faith was new and developed
God played alongside as we built our sandcastles

some views stayed the same
but felt the intolerance
"your parking across my drive"
`no l am not`
Swear words directed at me and few threats.
but l am not bothered
Bay in the sun stays the same
bit backward,
self serving,
lacking progress,
probably the worst cafes in Yorkshire.
