This year has seen numerous attacks on walkers by herds of cattle - some fatal.
Incidents normally occur when walkers have a dog with them.
The National Farmers Union has recently issued a warning to walkers, as four people have been killed in attacks over the last two months.
Former home secretary David Blunkett survived with heavy bruising and a broken rib after a cow attack in June and one woman has successfully claimed £250,000 after suffering serious head injuries from a similar attack
l felt very vulnerable walking in the local field
