KICKING OFF IN HULL

Sunderland's football clubs preparations for Friday evening's final pre-season friendly against Hull City have been hit a bout of gastroenteritis this has swept through the squad.

Despite this the `underfunded under resourced` and sure to be in a `relegation` battle Tigers still lost.

Black cats mauled the Tigers....Again we lose to Sunderland.

Yes l know it was only a pre-season friendly BUT it still a lose.

Also a little about how far we sunk as a former premier football team.

NOT SO STUNNING

if I can try to make a factual statement based entirely on the `video`. Shown on papers `online` story, Perhaps hope won't be deleted by the woke COMMUNITY.

THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS : A man was assaulted for expressing own opinion. i heard no saw any evidence that he was using 'hate speech'. then an assault took place.

It feels like and appears to myself, that member of the LGBT community took the action.

In addition he was subject to swearing and intimidating behaviour by, what appears to be, members of the LGBT community. But in reality was young gathered crowd.

The Christian Institute, in further issue related activity, has threatened the Government with judicial review if a proposed ban on so-called conversion therapy outlaws prayer which breaches the tenets of LGBT theology.

cancel culture awake today again

I am not Muslim, so to be reduced to a racial stereotype on my first week in a new city felt insulting. It was not an aggressive enough interaction for me to make a police complaint, but it left me feeling judged and hurt, and I knew she intended to do so.
The comment causing such  a response....

A DRUNK WOMAN ASKED HER BOYFRIEND NEAR ANOTHER WOMAN

She asked her partner if that building ` was a mosque.`

That picture of a younger couple what happened to them....where did you go....wonder where you are right now...somehow your here looking at this moment now....

But your not.

this is not yet a love story

Tom Huddlestone’s experience will prove vital as his Hull City players prepare for life in the Championship.

Huddlestone has been training with his former club and played the first 45 minutes of Saturday’s 1-0 friendly win at Scunthorpe United.

The 34-year-old ex-Tiger has not played a competitive game since the City played Derby County at Pride Park last January.

There appears a lot of love for this player and his period with Hull City was fruitful one in Tigers history...like many people he not been able to ply his trade during recent Virus.

FUNNY, AND GREAT SENSE OF COMMUNITY, THE FEELINGS FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS EXPRESS FOR FORMER PLAYERS. ALSO GREAT ENCOURAGEMENT..ITS LOVE

Gather, chat, play, pray, listen, chill, and say thanks. Reconnect and rediscover.

Its stuff that no one wants and has no further value

Place your memory's in a box perhaps there a CD that none listen to anymore,

but still there that track just melts your heart as you recall each word.

piece of clothing you wore never wanted to throw out lying there

try it on ...now cant get it off its way to tight

perhaps if you loose some weight anyway torn it now taking it off

`those coulers never gonna be back in fashion`.

but when you wore a `younger man clothes,` she said looked real hot.

so it keeps.

A picture

A picture... its on top of CD box, (music from late eighties)....gosh what was you listening to then,

never gets played on the radio.

nothing good played on the Radio these days...Music...

That picture of a younger couple what happened to them....where did you go....wonder where you are right now...somehow your here looking at this moment now....But your not.

Cinema ticket to that film where main character was so like you then... Donnie Brasco.

Now its on golden oldies film channel often at 3 in the morning.

Its stuff that no one wants and has no further value ...Its also the sound of your heart breaking.

The film is loosely based on the true story of Pistone (Depp), an FBI undercover agent who infiltrated the Bonanno crime family in New York City during the 1970s, under the alias Donnie Brasco. Brasco maneuvers his way into the confidence of an aging Mafia hitman, Lefty Ruggiero (Pacino), who vouches for him

A picture postcard seaside town in 2000

The Holderness coast, East Yorkshire has always been threatened and erosion been a feature of life here. Scientist stated since they were formed in last Ice Age, its soft mud-like clay cliffs from Flamborough Head down Spurn `Point/island` have been vulnerable to erosion, constant battle from the treacherous North Sea waves.

They called it......picture postcard....but it's nothing like that.

Cheap

Noisy

Ugly

Vulgar

Poverty held

Emotional literacy low

Alcohol abuse high

Intellectually very low

Poor business management

If that's picture of beauty in the coastal area presented to you....it fits.

This here this place ...as singer sang...

this is the seaside town, they forgot to close down.

Everyday feels like rainy Monday with the week ahead `blues`...

 Talking to yourself is part

of winning at least one argument

Jul 23, 2021

The following is not easy

Are we listening to each other enough

Actively listening

Silence

Silent listening

So the other can breathe all emotional

Listening

Silence may scream

Still sit quietly .......just listen

Not that easy is it.....know l am not good as l talk a lot, best way of communicating

But the joys of listening to another is part of our healing..

Pastoral ministry requires lot of action.... words......but hidden in depths of true pastoral 💓 heart is requirement to listen.

Practice

Then keep getting practices of listening into care you provide.

Hillsong BBC TV channel  4 ....simply own thoughts...

Odd not a lot l was comfortable with, yet not lot uncomfortable with...But when l had issue it was complete infilling me with concern indeed fear.

The issue of abuse of children .....on its own simply too big issue to carry on with concept.

Another huge concern was around the issue of sexual misbehavior by youth pastor.

But other concerns were made clear to this viewer.

Greed and inability to act under clear authority, and Leadership.

Money...cash..inequality in volunteers being taken advantage of, while Leaders had such extravagant clothing and lifestyle choices.

Not uncommon but not often witnessed on this scale.

`Emotional literacy` among leadership when challenged also emotional play on converts guilt.

little this Pastor was comfortable with, reached in some instances the lost sheep.

some good episodes of pastoral care. But overall damage to Church.

The songs` pop in nature` and huge use of `nonlinear` examples, could do nothing to outweigh the damage coming to light.

Lot of this evident in mega Churches.

WHAT WAS I ON ABOUT EARLIER THIS WEEK AND NOT FITTING IN?

`I'm heading home again,
cause it seems I don't fit in.
And the world ain't all...I thought that it would be......`

Doctor said this `pain not got too worse` over 5 years,

Further `you are coping`.

We know what its not, maybe try get through the pain threshold.

sometimes we don`t fit in...among the more beautiful in that much nicer place....

Like You l also been in the place this singer explore, the emotional sense that` the something better`

in the` someplace better`

with those `oh so much nicer people`

among `more beautiful`

was not where l was home...nor did they want me to be.

Bay a picturesque old fishing village on the Coast of the North York Moors. It is a great place for adults and younger alike with a beautiful family friendly sandy beach, rock pools to explore ,ancient fossils to discover.  Walking through those narrow, cobbled streets and alleyways, Up a hell of a hill, maybe in your mind can imagine fishermen, smugglers, press gangs that walked these streets hundreds of years ago.Still ghosts walk waiting to accompany you.

I'm heading home again,
'cause it still seems I don't fit in.
And the world ain't all
I thought that it would be......

I'll never leave;

I belong in Rainbow Valley.

There's one who's always mine

down in my Rainbow Valley. . .

From this hill I'm looking down,
upon that friendly town.
There's a place I know
that's paradise to me.

Sometimes we have moved, not just geographical but in our hearts...we feel the searching is over, but someone once said ..."you can travel 3000 miles and still stay where you are" ...THEN life...ole way of being...issues you may brought with you..that desire changed...where you came from ...well its not to bad.

but honestly it is just LIFE...so l suppose be careful in your experimentation, wrestle with issue.

That place you want to go to...that place you feel want to live in,perhaps take a holiday there...in winter or the dark cold November. . .first....

We all talk deeply to ourselves.cognative narrative before we speak out loud

This lead us to experiment ,better engage with each other.

Dialogue goes internally before we speak into situations

Some like me

Reflect longer

Just bit more deeper

Discussion and little chat are never just that

Sit in deep thought

That's this communication with ourselves

Mind game we all should engage deeper with

That person sat in quiet with while supped on a cup of tea

It's bit intermit ..for some it's awkward and a challenge

Just life......while try to get up that great big hill called hope.

Talk .... experiment... experience..reflect. . .share....talk more...repeat...

 When l get ill

Struggling to breathe

Heart stops several times an hour

Keep falling in and out of sleep

Bit of memory lose

Days over and can do little

Unable to process correctly

It's main cognitive narrative that gets interrupted ! Feel silly.. powerless

But cope learnt to accept this health challenge.

So bear with me..........

Ischemic heart failure, is a serious condition,  only around 15 percent of people surviving for over 10 years after an occurrence.

EXPECTED...EXCLUDED....EXPLOSIVE..FOOTIE GAME

Despite police and stewarding numbers, much greater than for any other match at the Euro`s, Wembley was besieged, when hundreds of individuals sought try break through barriers, turnstiles and gates to gain access to the match.

EXCLUDED

The behaviour of the people who illegally forced their way into the stadium was unacceptable, dangerous and showed total disregard for the safety and security protocols.

EXCLUDED

WEMBLEY  inside the gate, at about 5.30pm, one person commented;-

"I watched 100 people storm through a door to get into the stadium and they were attacking stewards and fans. There was no police presence, and a minimal number of stewards."

Feeling EXCLUDED one of the organizers...yes read that again one of the organizers stated;-

“A lot of stewards seemed more than willing to help." We offered one £200 to let five of us in. At about quarter to seven we were waiting for the steward’s mate to show up and that’s when we saw a disabled door open so we just ran through.

FOOTBALL WAS FUNNY AT TIMES AND I DID NOT INVEST A LOT OF FEELINGS EMOTIONS NOR ACTIVITY.

As expected it got pretty ugly, not confident this was isolated but think more common.Perhaps for some it was the scale of the disturbance, but often find its

gets ugly around football grounds and the drinking dens of the footie supporters.

Racist views and outpouring well check any city centre, rural community and seaside town most Saturday evenings for more of the same.

Don`t pretend that this has gender, nor age rating, there is no couler bar to the racist behaviour. Lot of Black on Black crimes , Asian on Black crimes, mix that up anyway you wish.

It`s Ugly, untidy, messy, and  a worry.Criminal behaviour threats, violence, and at times death.

Its not limited to few men at national football event.we have not improved in way we behave towards each other add alcohol, bit of money, tribilisum ,stir in some poverty.

But what could change.Lets explore who gets invited, often national and big events exclusive to those in power already holding positions and have wealth, again poor are among many not expected to attend..increases frustrations they may already hold.

Something about the mess of life looking for meaning in song!

There has been more than a little debate among classic rock DJ and enthusiasts over the real meaning of this including Spiritofthestreets

Robertson the main group spoke person...has insisted time and again there is no biblical subtext.
`I most strongly disagree.clear well to my scholar instinct's
However time after time l actually resorts to telling person `music often what you hear, in regard to the meaning behind a lyric`.
Others feel , those who know, select people think he may be deflecting. Consider the following`-;

- The narrator can't find a bed in Nazareth, and the guy to whom he makes an inquiry just smiles and says "no."
- Carmen and the devil were walking side by side, Carmen can go but her friend the devil has to stick around - an allusion to ever-present temptations.
- "Crazy Chester followed me and he caught me in the fall" - possible allusion to Paul on the road to Damascus.
- The most glaring one: "I do believe it's time to get back to Miss Fanny, you know she's the only one who sent me here with her regards for everyone" - Miss Fanny is the one who sent him to Nazareth, but now it's time for him to go back to her; Miss Fanny is God, the "time" in question is the crucifixion, and "regards for everyone" is Jesus dying for all of man's sins.                                    hhhhmmmmmm no not clear or in agreement here...

The "weight" is the load that we shoulder when we take on responsibility or when we try to do good. in relation to others. But it's also the heaviness that presses down on us when we fall into "sin" or wrestle with "temptation.
Of course these are old fashion words maybe understood in post Christian society. Even in 60's..
Is it today even a song about a universally human dilemma.

It may be a bit too tidy to say that Biblical, this is where "The Weight" found its inspiration. But it really doesn't matter. This song is more about the mess of life than the neatness; it's about the trials that come with trying to do good, the burdens that accompany acts of kindness and the kindness that, sometimes, flows weirdly out of sin. Life takes a toll, and a simple trip into Nazareth may leave a person's bag "sinkin' low." The closest thing to hope, the closest thing to any sort of redemption, lies less in absolute clarification or relief than in the occasional extension of a helping hand. "Take the load off, Fanny, and put the load right on me.

Tyrone Mings and Priti Patel argument, its beautiful narrative

England defender Tyrone Mings,Tyrone Deon Mings is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Aston Villa and the England national team. Afro Caribbean decent (gentleman) slams Priti Patel Home secretary,

Patel is a British politician serving as Home Secretary since 2019. She previously served as Secretary of State for International Development from 2016 to 2017. A member of the Conservative Party, she has been Member of Parliament for Witham since 2010.

The Player accuses the (lady) hypocrisy after racist abuse of England football players.

The Three Lions were beaten on penalties by Italy on Sunday evening in  heartbreaking shootout
The Home Secretary said she was ‘disgusted’ by the abuse and it had ‘no place in our country’,

There is something unique ,beautiful odd and respectful going on with this debate, the subject matter is disturbing and worrying. But this is a good image of Great Britain. Neither person could be a carbon copy of any one local.

They have both found success here and are part of a diverse multi cultural country.

Arguing a debate, different aspects of the conversation.

Informed narrative, issue needs to be talked about, ethics on display love for better way of being.

Better understanding.

Search for better place to live.

Desire to want improvement in our society.

If that's your best.. accept that's your best

You done all there is to do so walk away walk away... you've said all that there is to say so come away just come away.......
Tried all there was to attempt, but it was not good enough, so walk away simply forget and walk away.

However three penalties kicks ........deserve some criticism, as soccer player practice
..practice..practice...come on you want to escape from thing you should do correctly

Disappointing results in last game of the European countries football tournament.
Another issue, LOCAL to Hull relates to the Cycle lanes, created bad awful situations round congestion difficult for motorists.
Hull is a place try to avoid takes too much time when hitting city limits to shop, visit friends ,or pass time.
We are at period when driving a car is fast becoming something classed as sin.

Hulls cycle lanes came into force during the C19 crisis, they have been source of local concern. It was the first of a series of initial temporary schemes in Hull funded by a £410,000 government grant aimed at encouraging more people to switch to cycling and public transport.

imagine trying to get shopping home on Cycle or drop stuff off at food bank, visit mates in pouring rain or winter snow, spring wind or blistering sun.

Something smells at my hometown club and it relates to way people are respected, its a process

Hull City are currently working under a transfer embargo which has been handed to them by the EFL.

It’s understood the embargo relates to a loan the club were given by the Football League to help come to terms with the devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic, which has seen the income of clubs nosedive with stadiums closed for 18 months.

A consequence of the embargo means that the club are unable to sign players this summer for fees, instead they’re forced to bring players in that are unattached or loans with the parent club paying the players’ salary.

Hull City phew something smells at my hometown club and it relates to way people are respected, way person is treated, collectively way managers/directors treat those responsible towards.

it clear what the overall issue is....Allams

Also concern at present

Purity culture encourages Christians  wait to have sex out of fear,Further in anticipation perfect future relationships.

which you may never find, in fact you may be the reason hwy not going to find that.In short, for all of the wrong reasons.

While the goal of a biblical sexual ethic for Christians is noble possibly necessary one, the core message of the purity movement is steeped in fear: we are to remain pure or else. Purity culture pushes myths about premarital sex and the guaranteed benefits of abstinence until marriage.

What was the thinking behind the process of this Church planting!

When someone suggested that they build here.

13th century what were people thinking?

Would success in mission be at front of mind's.

Who was targeted?

What credentials would parson require

Who lived in local environment?

Position held.

Income statement.

Skills held by worshipping community.

Did any expect the building be standing nearly 1000 years later!

Still looking pretty good.......

What now is the products requirements....?

How will Faith journey begin to be even more relevant ?

How are we going to imagine ;-new sense of God:- for locals.

Is the heritage of such buildings all we can offer?

What issues still experiencing from that time to this?

Under whose Authority do we go forward in places like this at times such as these.

What now is our message.......Has this changed...in what ways has the news of Jesus altered?

Questions around walk in the country near old Church building!

we still believe....spoonbill at Kilnsea wetlands and England in Euros

Yesterday around spurn with my son....doing his hobby..but enjoyable for myself having time out and about. Previous day at Bridlington we come across Buzzards and other stuff.

At Spurn after cuppa....saw Egrets

`black fleeced dangerous looking sheep,

swallows

Martingales

house martins

etc...`

Then we walked to Kilnsea Wetlands....here comes a `Bruce Springsteen` song... NO wetlands are not that romantic nor dramatic.

UNLESS

UNLESS

UNLESS your either a Orthanolgist or tweeter or more serious Bird watcher.

We Witnessed beautiful Spoonbill.

yes we did.

Sightings | Spurn Bird Observatory

The Spoonbill was also still present on Kilnsea wetlands along with 32 Little Gull. Whooper Swan was still on Kilnsea wetlands with 2 Tufted Duck ... 2 Spoonbill, a Marsh Harrier, 1 Little-ringed Plover, a Golden Plover,

Others had been nearby, were also present with the `soon to be in a pie` Asian pigeons.

But some said that not true
your mistaken
read the books they don`t come here this time of year
There nothing in some books so l think you saw a Mute swan, a,lesser Egret...or this ...or that..
BUT I STILL BELIEVE
Tomorrow again my belief will be tested...you see l believe we can win at the football
feel the mood correct...been little of the field tantrums...little said about game..there a presence around this England team

Faith always in Question
feelings can run high among those who do not believe
they read same books, about God who cares...
some books dont say what you said..LOVE wins
....well not in that way.
but l got this feeling
this knowledge . . . I know what witnessed

EVEN THOUGH IT SEAMS UNLIKELY YOU TOO MAY WANT TO BELIEVE

Sunday gentle journey.........Guest listening

Watched the wheels turning

Drank our cups of tea

Smiled and engaged in conversation

Walked harbour wall

Tide was flowing gently

£5 for ride on speedboats

Cold ice-cream

Passed 13th century Church

Looked up at those old familiar buildings.... from journey we made recently.

Simple family day out.......

Music in car ,Recent Album, modern group as drove....the others chatted about group influence,Stereophonic and track;-

'Graffiti on the train'

Lyrical value.... technical abilities... sonic.. orchestral works with the track.

I was listening guest to knowledge others shared.

What been your Sunday pleasure...........?

Then back well you know where.....To the rural community they forgot to close down!

Lack of diversity...increased poverty...heartache...poor health.

That's for next week...today gentle Sunday journey

Storms....huge weather variates at present

Huge winds brought chills waves and stormy conditions Despite this turmoil Got dressed, got out  Excitement conversation's  Pictures and...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
