Scaling Dam in June 2017

there is not what commonly known as public access within the nature reserve, but don`t bother with that outdated issue.
there is excellent circular walk that follows the boundary of the nature reserve staying mostly alongside the reservoir. further to the abundant bird life, watch out for wildlife including hare, roe deer, stoat, weasel and common shrew as well as adder and common lizard. In the lake there are trout along with ducks egrets, and heron.
Today not best for walking but it still beautiful and calm walk do everyone's mental health fine.
Had some really special moments with my son chatting with a old poacher drinking coffee from a flask listening
Just simply listen breathe in and be thankful
Life is hard

Breathe in and speak to the lord as you ponder anew at nature

Poverty can have a very damaging effect.

Flagship Conservative welfare policy does 'real damage' 'exacerbates poverty', judge declares
"real misery is being caused to no good purpose".
just read that line again
real misery is being caused by government to the poorest in our society
forget the politics
forget the emotion
forget feelings...just for a while read again....
attacked on the poorest and most vulnerable by this government
lets not be fooled here it was the same with last lot which was a coelenterate of several of the other parties
lets conclude they attacked the poorest
that coming from a Judge
“Those in need of welfare benefits fall within the poorest families with children", he said. "It seems that some 3.7 million children live in poverty and, as must be obvious, the cap cannot but exacerbate this. The need for alternative benefits to make up shortfalls is hardly conducive to the desire to incentive work and so not provide benefits. There is powerful evidence that very young children are particularly sensitive to environmental influences. Poverty can have a very damaging effect.

wow this is really worth reading again and again

The Grenfell Tower Beatitudes

Is this the moment? Is this the hour?
When all our ungerminated seeds of justice flower?
Is this the day our myopic consumer bubble finally bursts?
Is this the moment the sublimated cry of those whose voice
Is stepped on, stopped up, silenced, sidelined
Breaks through and slakes its thirst?

Might this be, for all its visceral, pain and loss
And all its tears and grief and monumental human cost,
All the hideous detailed traumatic tales and horror stories,
All its blackened, choked up smoked inferno
Of misery, cheap industry, colonial history, ignominy,
All its horror at the thought of flames rising rapidly on those
       who never had much choice,
Might this be the moment where people of poverty, dignity
       and community find our voice?

And when we do – clearing our collective lungs,
Coughing up the blackened phlegm,
Crying past the pain of burnt out throats,
We would cry and we would sing the protest song,
The long- suppressed lament of those
Who have for too long been the nation’s prisoners of hope.

Who cry

“Woe to you the fattened corner cutters!
You praise the logic of the spreadsheet before the dignity of others.
Woe to you the high priests and priestesses of austerity!
You discredit those with the temerity
To catalogue the real-time, lived severity
Of what it is to live in the nursery of your love-child, poverty.
Woe to you, you authors of deregulation’s hymn
That sang a strident song of local responsibility and reaped a whirlwind.
Woe to you the ordinary metropolitan urban woman and man
Working blindly for the false prize of luxury – but who didn’t give a damn!”

But blessed are those who cry for action
The ones who fill church halls and stores and mosques and boxes with rations
Those whose thought is only humanity and compassion
Those who are meek and brave and humble enough to meet
Pain and anger full in the face and not feel they have to speak.
Blessed are those who mourn.
Blessed are those who grieve
The ones whose tear-streaked, sooted faces may yet achieve
What the politician, the prophet and the poets of justice
Have for generations sought to weave.

And blessed are the meek,
For whom maybe, this is the moment,
This is the hour, this is the week,
When the kingdom of the mustard seed
Outgrew its neglected emblematic burnt-out frame
And burst out on the streets

You can die of a broken heart

You can die of a broken heart,

A trawl of data in Denmark reveals that recently people have an elevated risk of heart trouble if they have been in a long relationship that ended along with death of a love one.it all appears also to happen on the left side, l read w while a go that the heart holds separate memories from the head so its true you can die of a broken heart which for a long time all the best love song where saying

A radical new treatment for heart disease could be developed after scientists found cells that can grow into fresh arteries and restore blood supply to the organ.
The work paves the way for natural bypass therapies that coax heart cells into forming new arteries capable of re-routing blood around diseased and blocked blood vessels.
Patients could have the treatment after a heart attack, or as a precaution if they are at risk, to give them extra arteries that would be ready to take over should their own become clogged.

in my Garden some shared thoughts

Jun 15, 2017

what would you add to prayer wall

what would l put...what would l add

to these moments . .evidence of prayers
yesterday as l read the news listened to the stories people sharing a narrative
that belongs in a horror movie
l had to switch off and just walk
being in or around a story geographical far away
It was not possible for me at that moment to stay viewing . . . . my faith got the biggest kick
as always asking deep questions
Answer comes around to the main problem is man made
we ignored the concerns of others
further the vulnerability these poor folks are enduring...allowed the gap between those with . . those without to grow . . legal issue ignored about health plus the safe environment people live in

sad news that reflect our society

two stories about how low this society has sunk
local to myself in the north east coast
worked among youth mainly male who think it ok to brag about lamping hunting animals and tearing them to pieces, this would include rabbits, deer, and badgers also use dogs to equip them in this activity

Bin bags containing the butchered remains of six wild deer were found by members of the public at a picnic area.
A total of eight deer have been found dead in three separate incidents in County Durham over the past two weeks, police said.
The bin bags were discovered near Consett and two further deer were found in the village of East Hedleyhope, near Darlington.
Durham Police said one had been shot on farmland and the other killed by dogs.

'Left to rot'

Officers were alerted to the six bin bags in Whitehall picnic area and car park on Waskerley Way, which lies on the Coast to Coast cycle route, on 2 June.
"Inside the bags were the butchered remains of six deer," a force spokesman said.
"Two further incidents were reported in the East Hedleyhope area where deer have been killed and left to rot."

The murder of vulnerable Hartlepool woman Angela Wrightson by two teenage girls could not have been prevented, official reviews have found. Two Serious Case Reviews and a Safeguarding Adults Review were carried out after the murder of Angela at her home in Stephen Street in December 2014

The fact of the matter is that it could have been prevented

SO MUCH MORE COULD HAVE BEEN DONE
THIS IS AVERY SAD STORY ON A DAY
WHEN SAD NEWS JUST GRIPS A PERSON
HOWEVER WE AS A WHOLE IN SOCIETY APPEAR TO HAVE BECOME AMUNE TO THESE INSTANCES
HOWEVER PERHAPS SOME WOULD ARGUE THEY REMINDS US
about there being a  GOD
AS WE APPEAR TO HAVE A VALUE THAT SAYS THIS IS WRONG
but on so many levels it happening more and more
that saddened me a great deal

was it different when l was younger or do l just recall it being different
what can people of the Christian faith say as we digest these sad events

meanwhile the beegees music attract 20000 bees to a car parked in Hull seriously now there some good news ............Bees like good music
my favourite bee gees track
l think `love so right`

not `fanny be tender with my love` . . .ye s
that a title of a bee gees former American No 1

Of trees and sharks

“And now we leave. The tree, motionless. The river, reflecting the sunlight.  The fells under cloud shadows. Birds singing. We walk out of the valley without leaving any trace of ourselves, save under the earth in the replanting of seven tiny saplings.
We do not know if they will get nibbled.
We have taken great care and given them what we think is the best chance.
A new constellation arranged around the winding river.
We will be back over the months and years to visit them.”

Trees DO WE TAKE THEM FOR GRANTED?
well many take other people for granted so we expect the same from trees

well something strange be happening at the Yorkshire beach
where we used to travel when l lived in Hull.
On this beach with sharks being washed up although personally
l think it too cold and they must be from a while ago
l have picked up dog sharks from the local to me coastline
SOMEONE TELLING ME THEY WENT TO SEE ROD STEWART LAST EVENING
GLAD ..I THOUGHT HE PASSED ON....MOVED OVER...
NO NOT AT THE BAR GETTING DRINKS IN..
YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

`we used to think about forever angel all the time` . .

I say, "Moses he's just fine
but he used to think about you all the time.
We finally took your pictures down off the wall.
Oh, Jessie, how do you always seem to know just when to call?"
"Get your stuff together. Bring mose and drive real fast."
I listen to her promise, "I swear to God this time it's gonna last."

We used to think about you all the time.
We finally took your pictures ,(well apart from two or three, plus the one  l always carry with me),down off the wall.

after the politics

life will now presume
but not for those affected by hostile and vile acts of the followers of Islam.
the families carrying pain with
hurt will not feel like a new day dawns
again the wickedness prevails
like the politics of my local land UK
many are not prepared for honest debate
ALLAH is not the name of Jehovah ,God
it`s a made up title!
Islamic religion is corrupt cruel and wicked at its core
the values held discriminate and make prisoners of its followers
Jesus is the way
Jesus is the truth
Jesus is the only way to the father God
there is no other way
his words ,his acts, his teachings demonstrate this
so why can we not have this open debate
because the followers of this false prophet are frightened to the exposure that would appear with an honest debate

‘Don’t say anything bad about this wonderful religion PART 3

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THEY KILL CHILDREN
KNIFE TO DEATH A GIRL OUT IN A PUB
CALL US WHITE TRASH
HATE OUR LIFESTYLES

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

‘Don’t say anything bad about this wonderful religion`. PART 2

  1.  lets begin with some possibly unpalatable solutions, close off the border refugees most immigrants from the middle east, uneven but the tough love solution.
  2. - implement a 2-3 year travel ban to war ravaged middle eastern nations (accepting can be made, but they must be scrutinised)
  3. --Round up the people who are considered high value targets on the watch list.
  4. --long term commitment to non intervention in the middle east,16 years of war has simply been a catastrophe which we will only make worse,
  5. --decimate ISIS Islamic State In Syria.....and anywhere ..
Stop Saudi funding of mosques, Ban all non English speaking Imran's, expel and stop all benefits, anyone with more then one wife expel, If in prison expel.
 Action  . . action  . . action.

Stop building new Mosques, stop all Muslim immigration, not all cultures are the same, even many moderate mu slims hold extreme views about gays and women, Most equality is an issue and they do not generally like our way of life

yes l know some very unpalatable solutions. would you like to carry on with what has become the norm Young kids blown up ,people out socialising Knifed,, people walking across bridge Mowed  down in the name of ALLAH
CHILDREN YES CHILDREN KILLED IN THE NAME OF ALLAH.
ENOUGH ALREADY

‘Don’t say anything bad about this wonderful religion.

Already we are seeing the same response, a weak response, liberal response, a cruel response,a uneven response, baleful response that follows every act of Islamism terror

‘Don’t say anything bad about this wonderful religion.
Don’t ever name the extremism, don’t label it, because you might hurt people’s feelings.
Criticism of Islam is deemed a mental illness: Islamophobia.
From the 7/7 bombers to the Charlie Hebdo murderers to Salman Acunty in Manchester, all these terrorists — these Islamist terrorists — expressed an extreme victim mentality and openly said they were punishing us for our disrespect of Islam, mistreatment of Muslims, ridiculing of Muhammad, and so on.
The Islamophobia industry and politicians who constantly say ‘Islam is great, leave Islam alone!’ green-light this violence; they furnish it with a moral case and moral zeal.
we are told all the time that is peaceful, full of love for all is simply untrue.
All my connections are about the damage they have done to women, and the weak and against any who appear to critic the false prophet it time to challenge the idea that he is a leader he was a false guy who for 1400 years has brought violence to the world.
Further we are warned of this evil ,vile ,wickedness in the revelation.Yet many Christians and their liberal views have supported this awful religion promoting its false message.
WHY
WHY
WHY

I burned all your pictures
Except two or three
The one by my bed
The one on my TV
And the one that I always carry with me everywhere I go

PRAY AND WALK

Walking along began to realise that, there’s literally no one here, except perhaps a farmer with his sheep. It’s peaceful, quiet, green, and the perfect canvas. Walking alone can be a good way of praying

of course seldom is that shared.
Like others want us to accept that pilgrimage ,prayer, theology they are all big things and above the everyday person. That another system error, in fact we are all Priestly people.
hard as that might be to accept, includes you and me.

Silence in the morning, aids the quest for spiritual enlightenment, but so can listening to music loudly and let your soul sphere upwards.
Another way is to select your music and next time you got a long car journey use that a mini pilgrimage. You re physically on a journey with a bit of selected favourite music and the road ahead.I choose to listen then drive in silence and maybe stop have a cuppa and think differently.
Its cheap and like two jobs in one, a journey and some peace.

Storms....huge weather variates at present

Huge winds brought chills waves and stormy conditions Despite this turmoil Got dressed, got out  Excitement conversation's  Pictures and...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
