bit foggy in Hull

STEVE Harper says Hull City’s focus cannot drift towards a looming FA Cup semi-final at Wembley after suffering another set-back in their final push for Premier League survival.

A 1-0 loss at Stoke City on Saturday frustratingly condemned the Tigers to back-to-back defeats and left them still searching for the last three points that manager Steve Bruce believes will guarantee safety.

Swansea City are next up for Hull City at the KC Stadium this weekend in what will be the last chance to pull clear before thoughts turn to the eagerly-awaited date with Sheffield United in a fortnight.

That Wembley date will see City aim for the first major final in the club’s 110-year history, but Harper has warned anyone dreaming of FA Cup glory will be in for a rude awakening with their league fate still to be decided.

personaly found another defeat upsetting it was not a good game to watch but expected a bit more then what city players put up throughout the season city been lacking something spirit skill l do not know waht true we are one of the poorer teams but it time to enjoy out place inthe sun/limelight
the fans have been very loyal giving emotional and finical support so lets hope the players repay that investment

steve harper a true proffessional and best second choic goalie in the league

rambling on cold wet dark saturday

WEEKEND

You can’t have a great Monday morning if you had a terrible weekend. Work is important do you and l want to be successful? (that a hard question),but there’s always something that can wait until Monday. Weekends are a time for yourself (not really, maybe a while ago but society and culture changed)they can still be for some a time to unwind, to relax and to think. In fact, many people do their best thinking during leisure time, because you’re free from other work distractions and can think abstractly.
Although for me it not been normal like the evenings often work times so weekends and evenings when work the most often!

HULL CITY

Steve Bruce will have concerns over the quick turnaround from Wednesday to Saturday and could consider the likes of Robert Koren and Sone Aluko.

Alex Bruce could also retain his holding midfield role.

Eldin Jakupovic will be Harper’s understudy following being recalled from loan with Leyton Orient. Abdoulaye Faye will also be part of the travelling squad against his former club although not pacer anymore still strong relible defender in my view.
Stevie harper returns in goal for the injured and suspended allan mcgregor.UTT.

EMOTIONAL LITERACY

Apologies vary from minor, everyday apologies to major begging for forgiveness. On occasion we commit acts which are so injurious that even when such actions are forgotten and their effects swept under the rug, they leave indelible scars in their victims which can only be repaired through a major apology and offer of amends. If, after thoughtful soul searching, the apology is accepted and forgiveness is granted, there may be psychic healing possible. However it is important that the injured party be free not to forgive, to postpone or to set conditions for forgiveness and reconsideration.
emotinal literacy is absent among the mining community l live /work/excist among
they do not want to forget or forgive...too risky...life is a risk

some of the thoughts that have been getting my focus this cold wet dark Saturday after l prayed and spent some time listening to God, then reflecting

Reduced to 10 men midway through the first half, when Allan McGregor was shown a straight red card for the second time in eight games, it was not just history against Steve Bruce's men.

A wretched collective decision from the officials saw Mohamed Diame's handball go unnoticed in the seconds before he was sent tumbling by McGregor inside the box, allowing Mark Noble to send West Ham on their way to leapfrogging the Tigers in the table

girls UK 2014

At 17 I fell pregnant and at this point I realised that I was scared, that I didn't want to be with him and I didn't want to raise a baby with him. I woke up to who was in my life.

Girls, I love the things they know, love the things they show
Got to be with a girl - bad girls
The sunshine in their hair, the perfume that they wear
Girls are everywhere
Girls - super fine, mighty fine, sugar and spice
Everything nice - ah-hah-hah
I'd like to be a magician then I could stop wishin'
I'd take my magic wand, and poof, I'd have me fun
If the guys could see me, they'd swear I was Hoodini
Before they could count from one to three
I'd have ten girls standin' next to me
Girls, I love the things they know, love the things they show
Got to be with a girl - sweet girls

Home Office minister for equality, said violence against girls in gangs had remained hidden for too long. "I think people would be shocked if they could see the level of violence and abuse against girls in gangs," she said. Groups working in the area were invited to bid for the advocate positions. "Our first priority is to protect girls who can see themselves as worthless objects to be used in unacceptable ways

Three boys, one aged 15, and two aged 16, were being held in a nearby police station after they were arrested on suspicion of murder near the scene of the fatal shooting on Eastway, close to the Olympic Park. The 15-year-old was charged with murder late on Sunday night.

Police sources said one line of investigation was that the shooting may have been an accident. Scotland Yard said "enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of the incident". A post-mortem examination at Poplar mortuary on Sunday revealed Shereka died from a gunshot wound to her neck,

Hull Tiggers ..its not all about money

really interesting insight into the modern footballer and injury
Sona Aluko needs to pay back the manager staff and supporters of HCFC.
Thats right hull city
some ejeet chairman wants to call the team hull tigers because it will make more money
not everything in life or football is about money and this smells of greed not true business attitude
we need success on the field and in the economy of the city

"It's a lot better now," Aluko explained. "This has been my best week of training, physically, when you look at all the stats of speed and all those things they analyse.

"I've felt like it's been my best week, so I'm happy about that and it shows I'm going in the right direction.

"Very few footballers play any games 100 per cent fit. When you get on the pitch, you're fit. I'm pain-free. I feel good in my body when I get out there and in training. It doesn't hinder me any more, so that's the best thing I can say.

"I played the first eight games and I was playing well, so it wasn't hindering me but it wasn't completely gone.

Psalms 19:14 (KJV) Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Do we really NEED to know the original "meaning" behind a song?
Jackson Browne's "For a Dancer" first appeared on the 1974 platinum album Late For The Sky and has prompted online fans to debate whether the song was as a result of Browne's wife's suicide (which actually occurred after the song was released) or the death of his friend

l do really like to hear why words were written wether it from the bible or just a modern day psalm like those l foten put up here words
words
words are like feelings
they go deep
someone recently asked me about my heart
words
stayed with me late at nite

slip up city

thought we got outplayed but lets be real they have spent more then a third world country spends on missles. so they gonna win also lets remind ourselves if they bought it they own it.. yes a bit `laffing it off`, but that football these days no longer a entertainment community event.
STEVE Bruce says the survival prospects of his Hull City side will be judged in the weeks to come after again falling short against the Premier League's big guns.

A 2-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday was the 11th loss in 13 games against the current top eight and the Tigers were left to rue another near miss at the KC Stadium after Vincent Kompany's red card reduced the visitors to 10 men for 80 minutes.

Mar 15, 2014

l heard this for the first time this morning it stopped me in my tracks

"For A Dancer"

Keep a fire burning in your eye
Pay attention to the open sky
You never know what will be coming down
I don't remember losing track of you
You were always dancing in and out of view

I must have thought you'd always be around

Always keeping things real by playing the clown
Now you're nowhere to be found

I don't know what happens when people die
Can't seem to grasp it as hard as I try
It's like a song I can hear playing right in my ear
That I can't sing
I can't help listening
And I can't help feeling stupid standing 'round
Crying as they ease you down
'Cause I know that you'd rather we were dancing
Dancing our sorrow away
(Right on dancing)
No matter what fate chooses to play
(There's nothing you can do about it anyway)

Just do the steps that you've been shown
By everyone you've ever known
Until the dance becomes your very own
No matter how close to yours
Another's steps have grown
In the end there is one dance you'll do alone

Keep a fire for the human race
Let your prayers go drifting into space
You never know what will be coming down
Perhaps a better world is drawing near
And just as easily it could all disappear
Along with whatever meaning you might have found
Don't let the uncertainty turn you around
(The world keeps turning around and around)
Go on and make a joyful sound

Into a dancer you have grown
From a seed somebody else has thrown
Go on ahead and throw some seeds of your own
And somewhere between the time you arrive
And the time you go
May lie a reason you were alive
But you'll never know

The morning sun shines across our povershised and blighted town

sometimes l have difficulty rememerbing 2014 but
1974 and starting out in the Boxing games is like a fresh memorie

Miners are real scum

Why do some communitys celebrate defeat?
Here local they are known for drugs, voilence, fast food takeaways, hatred of outsiders, fouling  dogsh@t on streets, yet they celebrate DEFEAT

They foolish followed a man called scargill with recognised own political agenda.
Locally we was told they had a 'hand up count ', form of school boy bullying, lt was stated, l was told several times
"l was there and not even one quarter voted to strike"!
Today they still pay a large amount of money to his account when recently a Union rep asked WHY?
H,e was odered to shut up
They showed hatred to others who chose to go to work, read that again, they choose to go to work.
l have met many who are glad they lost friends because they chose to work..Miners had money to travel all over the land as flying pickets, along money for beer but they chose
to let own kidz survive on a slice of toast, wrong.
Wrong choice wrong direction ..followers...wrong still today they glorify defeat . .  "glorify the past when the future dead ahead"

HCFC . .nervous for a while

this sums up the day big expensive signing from a club that feel we are small fry and the joy from the supporters. . . . brilliant
l was quiet nervous especially when sono aloko missed the penalty (he really owes city big style) l thought oh no it going to be one of those days ,then it all went wild for about 12 minutes we scored ..scored ..scored at times we also played some very attractive entertaining football . Health has not been ace so this really uplifted me

enjoy you Hull city enjoy

l dont normally get excited about Hull City..but we payed our dues
it our time in the sun lets enjoy this as much as we should it entertainment and that what it`s about being entertained and City done that ..enjoy the moment

the fans who walked around the pitch .collecting money...who recall a time when the players and supporters were locked out of the ground by Chairperson wanting to make quick buck..Christmas trips to grounds like York ..playing hartlepool doncaster..sunderland ..now we have our day in the sun as Al Pacino said in Donnie Brasco "even a dog gets to lay in the sun". Its perhaps our time after 110 years in not come soon enough
