CBB14 FINAL

Who will be crowned the 2014 winner?

l AM THINKING IT NOT GOING TO BE THAT CLOSE
BUT MAYBE CASEY WILL COME SECOND?

©Channel 5
It's time to crown the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2014.

Cabin fever may well have truly set in for our celebrities but their torment will soon be at an end (well - ish) when they have to face the boo-happy CBB live audience.

N-Dubz rapper Dappy can barely keep his clothes on in anticipation of being released back into his natural celebrity habitat, though in fairness he's not the only one to have a clothing optional sensibility. There's been nakedness galore occurring in the house over the last three and a bit weeks.

TOO MUCH SEXUAL PERFORMANCE AND GAMES OF RUDE AND WICKED AT TIMES EVEN HATEFUL NATURE
HEY WHAT DO l KNOW
Sadly the CBB dream ended early for Blue singer Lee Ryan who found himself tossed rudely out in the cold on Sunday
TOSSER TOSSED OUT NOW THERE A LINE

As Emma Willis (remind me again what is she famous for being?)
entered the house to surprise-evict him personally after he received the fewest number of votes.

Just six celebrities remain to battle it out to be crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2014.

But who is most likely to win?

MY MONEY IS ON JIM RUNNING INTO FIRST PLACE

Which celebrity will romp to victory and when can you watch the final show?

MUST ADD I DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY DEATH THREATS OVER SOCIAL MEDIA
COOL IT FOLKS IT IS A GAME SHOW
CRUEL AT TIMES
ENTERTAINING
FUN
RUDE
it is only TV

MALTA

THE BRITISH PERIOD
The British Period is a very significant era in Maltese history and the British legacy still lives on in many aspects of daily life in Malta today. After assisting the Maltese to expel the French, the British found themselves sovereign of the Islands, but were at first uncertain as to whether they should retain the territory. The Treaty of Amiens in 1802 established that Malta would be passed back to the Order of St. John, but some locals were not keen to return to their former rulers and requested to remain under British protection.

Through cycles of war and peace, Malta's fortunes were inextricably linked to those of Britain.

In Ħal Kirkop, one finds the menhir monolith (which has become the symbol of the village), Paleo-Christian Catacombs, the medieval Church of the Annunciation, the Parish Church dedicated to St. Leonard, two band clubs (St. Leonard Band Club and St. Joseph Band Club), and the cemetery inside which there is a chapel dedicated to St. Nicholas. A cross placed on a column is found in Ħal Kirkop square and it is called "Is-Salib tad-Dejma" in Maltese. There is also a quite interesting collection of niches scattered around the village.

Issue on my mind

• What’s the impact of your actions?
What’s the benefit?
Keep asking these questions until you can link what you’re doing to a cause you care about.

Big Brother which l am finding really interesting each dayhousemates have been summoned late last night then they each in turn had to stand up and nominate two others, minus the usual privacy of the Diary Room.
l would have no problem l imagine doing this activtie

After gathering the housemates, Big Brother kindly provided each of them envelope containing pictures of their fellow housemates. The housemates were then told to pick the two pictures representing the housemates they wanted to nominate before revealing them to the group, along with their full and frank reasons for choosing them.
NOW HOW FULL AND FRANK I WOULD BE I AM NOT SURE

All apart from Luisa that is, who was was banned from nominating after breaking the rules

safeguarding issues
Universal services, like GPs, have to play a key role in the identification of safeguarding issues, early intervention and appropriate referral to other agencies.

"The GP did not consider a possibility of safeguarding issues related to Adult N's depression.

"This should have resulted in the GP making contact with other professionals to establish if there were issues related to safeguarding."
this is failure and it no good being in the local papersomeone was responsible and failed to help simple except someone Die`s due to this failure

In a world so distorted
Where the worst is best reported
Love maybe something
That will see us through

There maybe girls that I'll remember
That made me happy for a while
But none of them compare with you my love
However hard they they all may try

If the bus that we're taking
Has for ages kept us waiting

WOW O WOW O WOW
What strength of meaning portrayed innocently from a time decades ago
When the singer plied his trade performing songs on an instrument with Gilbert it was
A piano he has been a difficult artist to pin down but full of warmth and real value in the meaning of the songs
Not that some artist these days are not strong in the same values and traditions some of my latest sounds are familiar in emotional structure and affirming values but these have not yet stood that simple test of time.

When the evening is over
Put your head upon my shoulder
And I'll tell you something
I believe is true

happyness is missing U

anyway back to mixing music and trackplaying start Tichie stryder No 1 into Tia pain then Rhiannon man down followed jazz Z Diamonds...yesterday l bought Gilbert O Sullivans greatest hits some beautiful life affirming songs that roll over you....

Hull City need to start winning it getting very close down at the bottome of the premier league and cute football with no goals does not add up to survival.

THE city council has chosen to sit on the fence over the increasingly divisive issue of Hull City's proposed name change. In its official response to a Football Association consultation over the idea, the authority says the name change "is a matter for the club's owner and supporters not the city council".

reporting in the Hull Daily Mial centre defence Alex Bruce says "City continue to observe the relegation scrap from afar, despite falling one place to 11th in the table, but Bruce is under no illusions that they are a side in the thick of the fight for survival".

"We're not safe, no. Definitely not," said Bruce, who formed a defensive effort that came within three minutes of earning a precious point.

"Any team from tenth downwards can still go down.

BUT lets hope its SAFC cardiff and palace really city gotta improve.

rellay interesting article in youth work magazine.........‘youth worker’ is a generic term for everyone who might work with young people. What it doesn’t convey is the unique gifting, skills, specialist knowledge, talent and creative genius that you bring to your youth-worker-ness.

There is so much more to who we are than that title, the danger is to not think beyond our role to what we actually bring to youth work
true we bring ourselves.

Also, Can we deliver youth work as a lone ranger type do you need a team around the worker well of course but how much of the role is delivered by energtic visionarys? Everyone knows we should be working with others, but many simply do not have the vision or desire to do more then support the one holding the vision
Not that this is the best.Often many have just been allowed to do the role
when they have become the leader/boss/senior worker they often do not want any intrusion

more on HUll city afc from a Hull blogger spiritofthestreets

“I am delighted to be here. It is the right time and I am looking forward to it,” said Jelavic.

“The manager was straight and honest with me. He told me we need a striker and I think I can help the team with my goals. What is important is the deal is now done and I can show what I can do.

“As a striker you need goals and my target is to score as many as I can. It's a newly-promoted club, but I can see straight away there is a lot of ambition here.”

Days like today january 2014

When it's not always raining there'll be days like this
When there's no one complaining there'll be days like this
When everything falls into place like the flick of a switch

When you don't get betrayed by that old Judas kiss
Oh my mama told me there'll be days like this

When you don't need an answer there'll be days like this
When you don't meet a chancer there'll be days like this
When all the parts of the puzzle start to look like they fit
Then I must remember there'll be days like this

Yes there are days like we are currently experiencing days that blend into another the fog and mist sweep our Dene and time feels slow
A Lady in France is in hospital having discovered her husband a political leader has been cheating on her

There are days like this
In CBB14 Lee a boy band singer who never was famous is trying to resects his career (that never was)
So he experiments sexually on TV for all to witness
Then he gets confused as he talks about looking for love
YOU do not find love with sexual acts on the TV

HULL is the crack cocaine and heroin capital of Yorkshire and the Humber, despite £8.2m having been spent on tackling the problem last year.

Figures obtained by the Mail show fewer people are being admitted to Hull Royal Infirmary with drug and alcohol issues.

However, a report compiled by Hull City Council shows drug injecting rates of heroin and crack cocaine are more than three times the UK average, and almost double any other area across Yorkshire and the Humber.

A snapshot of pressures facing Hull's stretched medical services is contained within agenda minutes sent to members of the local authority's Health and Social Well-Being Overview and Scrutiny Commission.

Same ideals that believe a programme full of filth and dirty smut ` mrs Browns boys`,is fit for children to view the words culture, pride, ethics just press lazer beams of emotions across my mind.
this is in the libeary being applauded now.

Evander and his views on CBB14

Heavyweight world boxing champion Evander Holyfield has plunged Celebrity Big Brother into a controversy already after the born-again Christian claimed on the show being gay 'ain't normal'. Already pop star (?) Boy George has taken up arms on Twitter calling Evander's comments on the show homophobic.
really, why he not allowed his view and others are voicing there own still

not been answered anyway here more . .
The conversation on the reality show occurred during a chat with fellow CBB contestant and reality show, Apprentice runner-up Luisa, who declared that openness about sexuality was good 'because it was normal'.
After replying 'that ain't normal', 51-year-old Evander added, 'If you were born and your leg were turned this way - what would you do? You go to the doctor and get it fixed back, right? All I'm trying to tell you, you know how handicap people are born.'

Listen God said `Love`,
that the first rule
God is Love
Jesus did not say "love other`s once you have agreement with them about own ideals ,ethics".
but weather or not agree with Evander he is entitled to his views.
Also l expect this is why CBB14 pay all that money
The culture of the environment plays both ways
Holyfield should know what a climate he getting into.
fool if he did not
Culture of the environment also plays out for CBB14,
they researched their guest and just as they know who going to screw another on TV, after a drink.
They also know who going to be good TV in the CBB14 Climate!

Welcome 2014
Hull residents have spoken of their shock after they were evacuated when a suspected explosive substance was found in a house in their street. People in Kilnsea Grove were asked to leave their homes yesterday morning after the potentially explosive substance was discovered following a call to police.
A 15-year-old boy, a 49-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man were arrested at the scene after a member of the public called Humberside Police shortly before 3am.

MORE tributes are pouring in for "gentle giant" , as floral displays continue to grow at the site where he was brutally attacked. The father-of-two, was fatally injured as he tried to stop a confrontation between his friends and a gang at the junction of Hull's Beverley Road and Trafalgar Street during the early hours of New Year's Day.
He died in hospital just hours after the assault, at about 6am. Last night, three people were charged with his murder

Welcome 2014
STEVE Bruce has heaped praise on playmaker George Boyd after his stylish return earned Hull City, an FA Cup reunion with Southend United and former boss Phil Brown.
Boyd was in fine touch during Saturday's 2-0 win at Middlesbrough, playing a key role in goals for Aaron Mclean and Nick Proschwitz as the Tigers sidestepped a potential third round banana skin with ease.

WTF 2014

So l spend days writing stuff and the Internet either does not function or is not working
WTF
Worse its freezing another year of ;-
Unanswered prayer
Faith being tested
Poverty increasing
Marginalised unheard
WTF

“The most unhelpful thing you can do is be pro one side; it just adds to the conflict. We have to not only understand those people who are oppressing us, but try to walk in their shoes, and ultimately to really engage with what it means to love our enemies.”

- Sami Awad, Director, Holy Land Trust

My neighbourhood

The wind blows the dustbin down our empty street
next doors cats gone missing and posters are on the lamppost
the Internet is down
the TV was not so good either
cold and wet along the cliff tops and all kinds of warnings exist to discourage these walks
l am thinking of cooking Chicken chaser even though there is no one to share this with
Prayers and intersessions go forward from my mind for the lost and broken
l bought yesterday an old Cliff Richerds track called the Night from around 1963?
My memories tells me it was one of the first musical taste l liked
Jamie and many other Young people are suffering from depression
Hopelessness and apathy won the souls of many of our Children and young people
There was little fight inside for a fight

Me I got paperwork to do
something about working with the marginalised
many talk the talk but few have relationships with the broken and the marginalised
l do
others l know do
Many do not . it like a rocking horse it looks good in the corner of the home
But you wouldn`t go out on horse ride on a wooden rocking horse
that how many view the Marginalised and the broken

They know we should help and some do we commit to meals in the community
We commit to food banks
But we stop there, we do not challenge a society and the politicians who blame the benefit claimers for being poor
without a job
living in depressed and poverty struck areas

But few will fight against the conditions that oppress people
few will take up arms to combat the causes of poverty
The rich get richer
poverty grows
marginalised get further away and a sub culture grows
forgotten
ignored
left to blow down the street like the rubbish from my bin this morning
next doors cats gone missing and posters are on the lamppost
the Internet is down

NORTHERN SOUL AND THE GOSPEL

.
When l was younger in fact way back in the day

We used to D`J in clubs and on the northern soul scene we wanted to keep our obscure music tracks hidden, so we white labelled them. That was a process by which we tipexed out or put whit tap over the various names

We would hide the names of the artist and the song title from our punters. But like me people found ways of discovering the artist.

Sing the song in the record shop or hum the tune

Someone would know and a following around a track grew.

You could go into a record shop in Hull like Sydney scarboro or Gough and Davy and the person in the shop would know the track

Incredible

They would let you listen and if it was the record you buy it!

But the intention was to hide the track, keep it hidden.

The Church does that with the Gospel we hide the truth, keep it hidden.

Use subtle behaviour like `if you behave in a certain way e.g. like US you can become a Christian

If U talk in a certain way You can follow Jesus

When you are not such a rough diamond

When you accept our theology

We white label the Gospel

Instead if assuring others they are accepted

Unconditionally God in the form of Jesus accepts you

life is happening 2

Life in the old git yet
potentially l struggled with breathlessness and chronic pain across chest the new tablets have not been helpful. But l do not panic like l used too after 3 uses of the spray l would follow instructions and ring medical help line. Not now. I just rest up
as we journey we all find ways to cope with life challenges. Mine are different to yours but as l told my wheelchair enabled friend "l can get out and go places".

life is happening 1

City centres there is a bustle,
life is happening, but also quiet corners
a man begs, another pair plot to rob, recently
a girl cried Rape. . but that was a lie

Storms....huge weather variates at present

Huge winds brought chills waves and stormy conditions Despite this turmoil Got dressed, got out  Excitement conversation's  Pictures and...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
