Love is stranger then fiction
Is higher then a mountain
Is what dreamers live for
love is, higher than a mountain
love is, thicker than water
you are this dreamers only dream

a summer song
getting ready to do something they describe as `cool` going to sea on a little trip real mix of 11 -16 year old kids from our colliery town |
Everyday I watched you walkin'; walkin' by my window pane.
From the first time that I saw you baby, I knew I'd never be the same.
I wanna give you my lovin'. Could you ever love me too?
But you never seem to notice me, or what I'm goin' through.
It's all up to you.
Everyday I hope you see me, maybe look at me and smile.
But you always seem to look right through me.
I just break down and cry.
Lil Chris Jordan and Kev, these 2 lads were great mates always footie and laughing they fell out big time |
all at sea Nicky Jordan Joe Denise amber and the rest |
I wanna give you my lovin'. Could you ever love me too?
you never seem to notice me, or what I'm goin' through.
It's all up to you.
Come on down to my street baby and let me make you feel a part of everything I have to offer you, of everything inside my heart.
you never seem to notice me, or what I'm goin' through.
It's all up to you.
Come on down to my street baby and let me make you feel a part of everything I have to offer you, of everything inside my heart.

I wanna give you my lovin'. Could you ever love me too?
But you never seem to notice me, or what I'm goin' through. It's all up to you.
I would give you the sunlight baby, to keep you warm the days grow cold. And the love we have together darling,
It will never grow old any more.
Oh baby, it's all up to you.

People in Hull deserve better
STEVE Bruce admits he has been left with no choice but to reward Nick Proschwitz with a start when Hull City travel to Middlesbrough tomorrow night.
Proschwitz was the Tigers' saviour against Ipswich on Saturday as he emerged off the bench to score a match-winning brace and seal a dramatic 2-1 victory at the KC.
RESIDENTS are calling for action after travellers returned to west Hull.
A number of caravans arrived at the Hotham Road North site, near Bricknell Avenue
ONE of the city's flagship new school buildings remains closed for the majority of its pupils today after a water leak.
Kelvin Hall's £27.5m new-look secondary was forced to shut on Friday after a pipe burst, causing damage to the state-of-the-art building.
Rose Gibson, 86, spent three nights in Hull Royal Infirmary following an infection, which left her disorientated and lethargic

childish Hull councillors
Twelve Lib Dem councillors walked out of the Guildhall, throwing the full council into disarray, after being repeatedly silenced by the majority party.
Dummy Riot:
There were angry exchanges at the full council meeting in the Guildhall before Councillor Mike Ross collected his dummy and wet nappy then he led a walk-out of Lib Dem members.
There were angry exchanges at the full council meeting in the Guildhall before Councillor Mike Ross collected his dummy and wet nappy then he led a walk-out of Lib Dem members.
What struck me about this behaviour and the meeting was first, "where are all the women in this day and age"
How freaking childish is this behaviour?
In order to help the future meetings we are collecting dummies.

one rule for you one rule for them
Amateur footage from YouTube shows crowds at the Stadion Mladost making racist monkey noises at Danny Rose after England's Under-21s beat Serbia 2-0 on aggregate on Tuesday, securing their place at Euro 2013. After Rose was shown a red card, he mimicked monkey gestures, signalling that he had been racially abused
There seam to be one rule for working class British football fans
and quite another for fans of Europe's other teams.
The Babylon we have created states that it OK to behave how you want
but not if you are especially a white English football fan.
The 34-year-old Reading striker told the BBC: "I was absolutely fuming at what I saw. To think this was an England Under-21 game and another generation of players is seeing this sort of behaviour makes me very sad and makes me aware of the fact we haven't moved far enough.
"Everyone says Uefa needs to be stronger, do this and do that. They've shown they have no stomach for this battle. They haven't taken it on in the past. I doubt they will now with paltry fines and slapping on the wrists.
"So that's why it's time for players to take action. I'll go one further and say players should walk off the pitch because – guaranteed – if that happened, things would change."
I personaly really approve of clark carlise and all his views on the subject
which l often find myself whole heartily agreeing with.
The first century Christians had a different view of faith
the first century Christians had a differant view of faith
The first century Christians had a different view of faith
then the 21st century Christian.
They were to go into the entire world and proclaim the good news
They moved in power,
They were oppressed and endured real hardship.
They were into meeting the` world` and sharing their faith,
Along side the world it was their neighbour, these were hostile. But they witnessed and went about converting them.
Moving in power.
Last on their agendas was themselves.
They saw things differently to the 21st century Christian.
Who looks at themselves, first its being saved and getting to heaven?
Then perhaps a bit of local community.
Way off in the distance . . . .A world concern.
We do not move in power,
We are faithless,
Frightened,
Become sick.
We do not value this view or those that proclaim this view
Those that sign up to this are heretics’.

cliff top activity 13th Oct 2012 |
reading inspector montebelono about to start my third book having read the `snack thief` along with the `voice of the violin` their is an emotional literacy issue with the lead and male in the story he stumbles with words in his relationships also aware he says the wrong thing inabilities to complement to allow others close to his life
21st century Christian feels
love listening to music l get bit energised when l listen to music |
my Beatles on vinyl collection |
ME oldie but Goldie |
One of the biscuit tin questions;- is what do you prefer Vinyl CD or Mp3?
Me l much prefer CD but happy with vinyl
you can still get some dance music like `basshunter ` and `Beyonce` on vinyl.
Love the smell and feel of Vinyl
CD is better for running times and mixing but mixing vinyl you get more Organic sample and its a bit tougher to formulate ,more mistakes.
Not keen on MP3 or downloads but that is becoming the only long time option!
Lil Chris Josh and Kev enjoying 1/2 a lot |
21 st century Christian feels that that relationship forming, using cross culture stuff like the `wire` `sopranos` with short sound bites. This is pithy. They want intense group work .with 6 church family kids, and to enmesh some preacher’s seminar langue into that group
21st century Christian youthworker attends all the latest gatherings,
Refuses to see a north south divide.
Refuses to see a north south divide.
So they attend the gatherings at Eastbourne and London
With no worry or concern for those south of Watford.
This is forgotten mission area!
What can be learnt from `that way` out in the sticks?
21st Century Christian changes working with groups in the local environment to `working with gangs`.
The street cred that brings is more dramatic.
Although seldom do they hang around with youths on their time and in their environment
21stCentury Christian has a great neck for writing long and often
But seldom sits and listens.
Short time mission is the way of 21st Century Christian,
Long term commitment is seen to be too radical and resource costing.
Long term commitment is seen to be too radical and resource costing.
Figures suggest that most Christian youth workers have left the role and moved to different work after 2 years only.

HULL City legend Dean Windass has spoken of his shame and regret after crashing his car when three times over the drink-drive limit.
It comes just ten months after Windass revealed he had twice tried to kill himself as he struggled to cope with depression.Windass crashed his car about 15 minutes from home, having fallen asleep at the wheel, and smashed into a parked car.

"I know the discharge policy still isn't right because of what happened to my 96-year-old aunt.
"She was discharged at 4am after waiting for an ambulance from midnight.
"OK, she was going back to a nursing home rather than somewhere on her own but it's still not good enough.
"I thought they were doing away with discharges at that time of night but it's obviously still going on."

A WOMAN has told a jury a stalker raped her at knifepoint after forcing her into riding stables.
"I thought I was never going to see my children again. I had no idea what to do.
"I was trying to think how I could get out of this situation."

I just hope I'm not the only one
I hope that the world stops raining
Stops turning it's back on the young
See nobody here is blameless
I hope that we can fix all that we've done
I really hope others can see this
I hope that we still have a dream
I'm hoping that change isn't hopless
I'm hoping to start it with me
I hope we start seeing forever
Instead of what we can gain in a day
I hope we start seeing each other
Cause don't we all bleed the same
I really hope someone can hear me
That a child doesn't bear the weight of a gun
I find the voice within me
To scream at the top of my lungs
I hope we still have a heartbeat
I hope we don't turn to snow
A night when you turn the lights off
I hope you don't cry alone
I hope we stop taking for granted
All of the land and all of the sea
I'm taking a chance on loving
I hope that you take it with me
I just hope I'm not the only one
I just hope I'm not the only one I just hope I'm not the only one

Causeway is not long
This is just of the coast, (a lighthouse to steer the lost to safety)
the causeway is not long, like Lindisfarne. But still blocked out when the tide comes along.
Have had some nice walks enjoying the view
It’s always blustery around here, never warm even in summer.
Winters are long,Summers short,People are more hardy,A bit tougher.
Does the season, geography affect the people we become?
Is this why Maltese are so pleasant, due to all that sun!

Israeli's spray paint 'Jesus, son of a bitch, price tag' on the Franciscan Church in Jerusalem, hate has no religion!
guess what no one got killed and we Christians can lead by not going all out to oppress others because some one behaved in a misguided manner
Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the attack on the convent happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
"We're investigating the incident," he told the AFP news agency.
The graffiti, which read "Jesus, son of a bitch, price tag", had already been removed by mid-morning, AFP reported.
Last month, vandals set fire to the door of a Cistercian (Trappist) monastery, the Abbaye de Notre-Dame de Sept-Douleurs, at Latrun, west of Jerusalem, in another apparent price-tag attack.
At the time, Christian leaders in the Holy Land condemned the attack by what they called "forces of hatred" and asked: "What is going on in Israeli society today that permits Christians to be scapegoated and targeted by these acts of violence?"
The Israeli government also denounced the "criminal act" and promised that those responsible would be "severely punished".

Things that might be, if we look we just might see
The ripples run into the sun
And your smile blends with the clouds that flutter by me
As I sit on the edge of a dream
What do I see? What do I see?
I see the children playing in the sun
And there is love enough for each and everyone
As I sit on the edge of a dream
That's what I see! That's what I see!
Things that might be, if we look we just might see
Paint the world so brightly, let our freedom ring
Merry-go-round without a sound
I hear your song in the breeze that rock-a-byes me
As I sit on the edge of a dream
What do I see? What do I see?
