This week 20 years ago

Two big anniversaries this week
each causes different reaction in myself.
Today an anniversary we all wish we did not know,
the murder of a 2 year old child by 2 other 11 year old children
It was 20 years ago.
l had just recently met someone really very special
l was becoming more qualified, worldly, Falling in Love.
Life was . . . . .
NO life appeared more innocent,
this was another great lose that fateful afternoon.
Sad day,
painful day,
agonising day,
when James was taken away by 2 other children.

The Beatles recorded please please me
the album announced to the world from the cavern of Liverpool
"here we are"
Music a gift to heal
excite . . bring joy

life was,
no life appeared more innocent

A heart paralysed by pain

THE father of murdered Liverpool toddler James Bulger last night said he does not believe his son's killers are a threat.

Ralph Bulger spoke after his ex-wife, James's mother, Denise Fergus, claimed she had tracked down Robert Thompson, 11 years after he and Jon Venables were convicted of the brutal murder.

Speaking through his solicitor, Rex Makin, yesterday Mr Bulger told the Daily Post he had no wish to know the whereabouts of either killer - both given new identities and addresses after their release in 2001.

He urged Mrs Fergus, who said she was "paralysed by hatred" at seeing Thompson face to face across a railway line, to abandon her search for Venables.
the father of James has like his wife and the rest of the family gone through so much pain l have glimpsed at this book and its so painful
lets hold the family in our prayers along with the city of Liverpool

My James: The Heartrending Story of James Bulger by His Father
No one will ever know just how much James meant to me. He brought so much to all who knew him in such a short space of time.

Never in a million years could anyone have imagined what was going to happen to this most special and treasured little boy.

Why are we here? Why are we here?
Why are we here? Do you know what I mean?
Do you know what I mean?
Clap your hands, clap your feet.

church life 2013?

Sometimes life can keep you down, with your face all in the dirt

Now if you feel that left behind, need to get up and go to church

But what about repentance? What about the tension?

What about you eating dinner in the devil's kitchen?

But what about repentance? What about committing the same sin

Over and over again and again and again

Why are we here? Huh? Huh? Huh?

Please tell me, what are we here for?
Life, is nothin' but a dream, so peaceful and serene

Unless you're bein' evil then you on the devil's team

Well I receive what you want to believe

But soon you'll have to sew those bad seeds

Please, any man can ask, to get a pass

Or a cleansing of sin to grant another chance

Perhaps another glance of the light at the end of the tunnel

Talk to the coach or break out the huddle

Whatever should you fumble your rebuttal should be subtle

Because he who lives in the upper room is never gullible

As you survey the syllables and sentences

The question that I'm merely tryin' to pose is as simple as me sayin'

Sometimes life can keep you down, with your face all in the dirt

Now if you feel that left behind, need to get up and go to church

Norman from Cheers., . . .Wisdom

So can you read my face
can you tell what l am thinking
what does my body posture tell you about me
what`s going on in my head?

It all sounds rather deep but it comes from a comedy programme called `Cheers` about bar life in Boston.
Norman is a guy who just appears to hang around all day in the bar poking fun and having a laugh
He has replied retort to those who may feel that just by looking at someone, they can sum them up.
But of course it’s not like that and he really gets to the point.
In the comedy he is an accomplished accountant married, appears very happy, plus strong friend especially in `Cliff the postman`.
What prejudices can be formed by first impressions?
Nor do l go along with the view that you can form strong points about a person based on the 20 second rule feel, like, that we  are far more complex then that.

As god says in psalm 139
GOD investigate my life;
    get all the facts first-hand.
I’m an open book to you;
even from a distance, you know what I’m thinking.
You know when I leave and when I get back;
I’m never out of your sight.
You know everything I’m going to say
before I start the first sentence.

from others to me to you to you to me . . . level 5

From a Blog I found on the internet some many years ago.
It has always been a hit because it simply shows one method of using this tool in a 121 situation::

“So, Michael, how are you today?” I asked my client at the beginning of our treatment session this week as I placed a copy of the “Blob Tree” in front of him.
blob tree black white
I learned about the “Blob Tree” (created by Pip Wilson and Ian Long) in graduate school where one of my clinical supervisors used it with a group of clients who had aphasia (an acquired language disorder as the result of a stroke).
The beautiful thing about the “Blob Tree” is that people can use it to communicate how they are feeling, even if they cannot articulate it verbally. I loved the “Blob Tree” from the first moment I saw it and immediately added it to my arsenal of treatment materials. After I graduated, I took it with me out into the workforce, even though I wasn’t going to work with adults who’ve had strokes. Instead, I use it with children who have Autism.
And little Michael is a young boy with Autism.
“Hmm,” he said as he studied the tree I had placed in front of him.
blob tree Michael
This one is me,” he declared as he circled one of the Blobs, then he smiled and genuine joy sounded in his voice, “This one is me because I’m so glad you’re back!”
The Blob he circled was smiling and had its arm around the Blob next to it.
My heart melted at Michael’s unexpected response and sincere happiness. Michael was the only client I had served before Snuggles’ birth who was able to remain on my caseload when I returned from maternity leave.
“Oh, Michael,” I replied, “Thank you!”

Then I circled the Blob next to his and responded, “This one is me, because I’m so glad I’m back, too!”
Michael suddenly looked in my eyes and we shared a moment of shining smiles and mutual joy.

sometimes l feel like saying Lord l just don`t care

Sometimes I feel like throwing my hands up in the air
I know I can count on you

Sometimes I feel like saying, "Lord, I just don't care"
But you've got the love I need to see me through

Sometimes it seems the going is just too rough
And things go wrong no matter what I do
Now and then I feel like life is just too much
But you've got the love I need to see me through

When food is gone, you are my daily meal (hmmm)
When friends are gone I know my Saviour's love is real
Your love is real

You've got the love, you've got the love, you've got the love (hmmm)
You've got the love, you've got the love, you've got the love

Sometimes I feel like throwing my hands up in the air
I know I can count on you

Sometimes I feel like saying, "Lord, I just don't care"
But you've got the love I need to see me through

Oh, it gets so rough sometimes
Oh, the going gets so hard
But I know:

You've got the love, you've got the love, you've got the love (hmmm)

come on you Eygtian Hull

lets hope they make the loyal hull city supporters happy like they look happy here

Egypt and Al-Ahly duo Ahmed Fathi and Gedo sign six-month loan deals with Hull City till the end of the season, after being granted their work permits on transfer deadline day.
KingFut.com can confirm that Al-Ahly right wing-back Ahmed Fathi and forward Mohamed Nagy ‘Gedo’ are set to move to Hull City after being granted their respective work permits to England, the duo’s agent Mamdouh Eid told King Fut.
As exclusively indicated on Tuesday, Egypt forward Mohamed Nagy ‘Gedo’ had his work permit approved directly today after applying, while Fathi had his approved upon an appeal (due to his participation in the London Olympics and his time with Sheffield United in the English Premier League in 2007), as his first application was rejected.
Ahmed Fathi told the club’s official website that he’s eager to play football in England again and that the experience he gained with Al-Ahly in addition to his brief stint in the Premier League will help him adapt quickly with the Tigers.
“I will work hard with Hull City and I am looking forward to helping the team achieve promotion to the Premier League,” Fathi told the club’s website.
“I’ve become more mature and experienced now, I faced so many challenges that made me more confident than when I was at Sheffield.”
Speaking to FilGoal, Fathi added, “I’m looking forward to proving my credentials at Hull, hopefully this would be my gate to remain in England,” despite coach Hossam El-Badry stressing he will not sell the duo last week.
Gedo has also expressed his eagerness to play in England with the Tigers, also telling the club’s official website that he’s looking forward to playing a role in the team’s quest to gaining promotion to the English top flight.
Both players participated in Al-Ahly’s training session earlier today, with Gedo marking his final session with Al-Ahly with a trademark goal, gaining the applause of all his team-mates.
It’s worth noting that Al-Ahly’s official site has reported that Gedo will wear the number 22 with Hull while Fathi will take the number 17.
Ahmed Elmohamady has also re-joined Hull City on loan from Sunderland today.
