It was a very....very tough period

One if the most enduring features of 2018 for myself was 

Walking on cliffs of holderness it been tough unwelcome 

Period.Among toughest ever experienced l'd I'd not enjoy.

Faith journey with its reflection,

Variety,discussion and serving

Was clear support.

This excites me

There are somethings that keep me breathing,

get me so Excited,

Inspired

feeling hopeful,

Further very Keen to be out.

Glad to be alive.

Aware of God and his greatness.

                                              Focused.

"New Christianity"!
Accept l don't feel there is any such thing, but we should always be open to new thinking, perhaps new interpretation of how things are.
I like exploring `such ideas` and `talking` it can be ....

• uncomfortable
• Challenge
• Hard to accept
• Open new concepts
• Help understand others
• Can be destructive
• But it always necessary , grew up around those type of faith holders.

Not frightened about my faith,only fearful about lose of faith.
It like a passion ......something hold dear......
Imagine constructed from where l was in 76, that journey important to myself
This part of the journey is vital.
Suppose if l came to faith in 1976
Then l must be "old Christian".   .except don't like such titles.

Christmas eve observation

Based on own observations actually Glad to state that shops are pretty empty,

Not lot on the shelves.
 Less people around then might imagine, means footfalls down....

Sale`s are on ..... No bargains....
It telling us something which most of us know.

Very little real money around among the poorest areas.

Family's along with whole community's are struggling.

Struggle Christchaosmass does little to change that.

My own reflection sad, really less religion evident,such 

lack of spirituality. despite chance for many to look deeper.

That’s what Jesus said, eight times in the New Testament: “Be not afraid.” In fact, “do not be afraid” is a very often repeated commandment,if you look at the whole Bible, searching should find 365 scriptures ,(1 for each day of year),that command us to not fear or be afraid in reaction to issues we face,people, plus events around us. 

That’s enough to enable us to Question,why do we live in fear?

What are we so frightened?

When was last time heard a sermon on  . . 'do not be afraid?'

it would be...fine with me if....

Very pleased Tories decided they like women. Perhaps its a fine time to reopen women's refuges, get rid of the rape clause, fine with me if stop discriminating against WASPI women and reinstate the domestic violence legislation they filibustered last year,further real fine with likes of me reopen youth clubs where young girls were taught values,young men taught to value opposite sex.also they support the Rotherham women abused by Muslim men.

It would be fine also if Corbyn could stop lieing about his own morals and values.

Those authority figures could stop the damage, being done by awful universal credit system,
The vulnerable on benefit could be supported, encouraged, into paid work and decent contracts.

When unable to find work, the system would be able offer them all the support, tailored services they need.

Would it be good if we could invest sometime in looking at the words of Jesus.

well this awful year one that best forgotten is coming to an end,been a challenge and that putting it pretty conservative.

It would be fine with me to wake up tomorrow in a place that not here. It would be fine with me to be in a place of sun,rich conversations,economic well being,perhaps a better day health wise and nice swim in beautiful pool.

It would be fine with me to begin the day silence,prayed and spoke to God.

It would be fine with me to go sleep tonite fully acknowledging God turned his ear toward myself.

Sit, chill, let hassle and chaos leave.

The pace love to move,hence slowing down. Christmas/Advent …means can give quiet, steady witness to values like attentiveness…reflection,type of stillness ,being patience, receptivity, practice active listening .. This allows and enables myself to make real,perhaps meaningful connections with people, nature, work, art, with The reason for this season....God.
Ask deep questions
Get concerned about others place hassle and worries at top of all that they are doing.
Need to pull away .
Sit Chill watch and wait.

more like some place drift towards.

Someone stated that cliff top walking was risky
it was better along the waters edge.
But the views from cliffs are better, even if it harder to climb up to that view.
Truth is rural coastal community's, are hard places to live, because rest of Authority don't expand effort or time to support these communities. The many exist there blighted and awaiting springs return.

It bit like how my life feels this year. Lots of my mates are in Malta  so hearing from ,Johnny .john Mac, Vicenza, and PP, fills me with envy and jealousy.

Moving into a studio flat and struggling with tonne of health and economic issues.

So challenge the Lord....get me away from here to a better place, a more prospers place.

Does that sound like testing, prosperity ministry, just meant as a prayer request this place is not where l want to be.

Perhaps the best result we can hope for is like the events in France

Standing in my kitchen, thinking about this life
How some men end up all alone, kinda wondered what done

some men take a wife,forever kinda of Angel.
How old men get discouraged ,though trying not to be

Smile and loads of humour will make life feel better.

Know some young men go astray,truth be perhaps l did?
They say '"for every sinful thing we do somehow we will pay'".

If that the case gotta ask could grace get in the way?

When get up reach for my Bible, pages fall onto the floor
It's an old one that had a while, been used many times before
It's been with me since youthwork days, I was saved in '76
if look back at my troubled life,give thanks
 That made it through.

Love have been lost, work got dried up, heart failing,
But here l stand 
Grew up Hull city ,around the city centre pretty rough neighbourhood
Where if They'd try beat me up

Had to be real bad, because l could mix it with the best 

due to large family ,friend,s and my faith was mainly good

This boy came through those times,

experiencing in different ways lot of love.
For all those girls and boys who tried knock me down.

You did what had to do.

But those in authority had no call for what they did.

Still they try to muzzles those who speak on Kingdom values.

Each time that we speak up.

To that someone special who knows just who they are
I pray someday We will meet again 

In a time not so far away,

we'll be standing on sacred ground

I am free, I can see, and I'm who I want to be

Mercy me, mercy me, mercy me

Anywhere. . .but at present

Anywhere but here at present,
Wow friends and some family can be challenge even when doing the right thing
Relationships are most difficult thing to handle.

Try hard to explore other people's view

Avoid Difficult conversations
Do not use Raised voices
Or make false Allegations
Accusations
Followed by threats . . unhelpful.

Perhaps prayers should focus on ,that others find peace

Understanding

Compassion

Grace

Economic well being

Spiritual growth

We need in buckets full lot of all of the above

Poverty is a good topic for TV and discussion it not good to be experiencing.
