One time life was packed with DJ events,Training, Competition,girls and Church                                                              The sandbox grew empty....life got busy then slow.

Prayers felt unanswered.

We ask the tough Questions is God far away,?

See the suffering and the pain.

Wonder about the poverty along with injustice.

SWtill we pray.

Seeking hard truths,unhappy with lack of answers

Uncomfortable journey!

Visit your people oh Lord provide the answers we seek,show us solutions we require.

The Supreme Court has given its support to ‘marriage lite’ by backing the case of a couple seeking to change the law on heterosexual civil partnerships

Which in my view is correct,we are not  a Christian society. God does not rule the world.

Either way anyone saying they have had a civil partnership is automatically
 saying we are a gay couple.

Which they may not want to express.

Moses Odubajo has become the latest player to announce he will not be returning to Hull City after rejecting a new deal to stay at the KCOM Stadium.

The right-back becomes the seventh player this summer, following David Meyler, Allan McGregor, Michael Dawson, Adama Diomande, Abel Hernandez and Seb Larsson in pursuing pastures new this summer

Yet again it is what the departing players do NOT say that says it all. Stating as a player loved supporters, the loyalty, Moses had the most wonderful experience of his life whilst with our team. Hull City have paid him for 2 seasons without him contributing.

So why has he decided to leave? The only thing he did not praise was the ownership! Whose awkward inability to negotiate with players, whilst they sell off or give away all our best players. Congratulations again to the `leaders at the club`, on their complete destruction of HCFC.

hottest summer for a century

This summer will be the hottest since 2006 as long as June to August has an average UK temperature almost a degree above the 14.3C summer average, Met Office records show.

Government forecasts also indicate there is a high probability this summer will have a higher temperature than 2013's 15.17C, which would make 2018 the hottest summer for a century .

well heard this one before and it time to get happy,except it not true nor does the sun make you happy if walking or living with worries or concerned.In fact the happiness displayed can only make matters feel worse.

Add to that own currant predicament...Then life sometimes feel slow, unfair,perhaps like it passing one by.

we all have periods of wanting life to be better . . struggle because lack direction unsure of own purpose,along with nature but that is life.

Previous experience remembering that...can pull a person through.

Never forget how unique ..special...beautiful..you are...no one lived the life you are experiencing no other has your unique DNA 

if life is hard slow and uncomfortable...it gets better and you deserve to look back on this moment...stretch...walk...eat well..talk to others..being spiritual means sharing the tough period you are in..please don't be blind to YOU...YOU can sometimes be the best that  others need to see...even in the long now.

Christianity not about perfect selfies ,Facebook followers,Instagram likes ,nor is it about exam grades ,nor money and status. 

Weirdness of following Jesus

Young people rejecting religion is not bad news for Christianity: the faith needs to embrace its weirdness and mystery

 we live with continuing appetite for community,wanting to belong and be part of something.Away from the social candy ,but bathed in the reality of other people. everyone is asking for some loyalty. replacing Church with a a sort of tribalism that has long been associated with religious belief.could further be what Young people are seeking.

That as a starting point should be encouraging. 

but many older folk especially in Church structures feel that youth are all the self-obsessed Facebook/twitter/snapattack? beings are lacking commitment .

such good opportunities to nurture and mentor these young disciples is lost.

One theory is that many young people shun the more arid extremes of rationalism, where everything is numbered and quantified, and all life and culture is squashed and processed into data.

wow that presents a great chance to connect and relate ,the biggest issue is we do not want the hard work.

we are simply to lazy

But need to suggest something else that comes to my mind,we want to be the `messiah` for others.

we are more comfortable being others `answers`...then presenting the answer.

l know people in Church based community work who have been saved by the community they serve,that DO not see this,without the community they serve they would be redundant,out of work,lacking social contact.

Seldom do l hear from `Christian church based` community workers what the community  given them.

We talk in words that have little connection with our client base.Often promoting social value from a platform we have only just clambered onto.

• The lost son and his brothers lostness. we often feel the story is just about one returning.

  Deeper reflection demonstrates we miss so much if we do not focus on the other people in this parable.

  The parable talks about both the prodigal son and his older brother, who also needs to learn to accept the father’s mercy. Both the younger son, who is expecting to be punished, and the older son, who expects a reward for his good behavior, are not acting according to God’s love, which transcends both reward and punishment. The greatest joy for the father, is restored relationship,this needs to stressed,

  I want a party as well.I want some reward as well.

  Don't we all feel lost,alone,neglected,feel like God not listening.
