another north south divide

There is something beautiful about fresh snow.
but something equally depressing about slush and the cold.

For some in other parts of the UK, there are just a few flakes. But when it snows in this neck of the woods, it stays and everything is affected.

Just a hour ago l was talking to some folks about health issues and the issue remains like the snow different responses.

`Southerners` get better treatment, here in the north of UK we get a so called lottery. Poor treatment, limited response, poorly trained professional health workers.
We die younger.
Live in worse conditions
Need to protest and if required burn, loot, and destroy.

Aoccdrnig to rseecrah, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer msut be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a pboerlm.

Yes l am hooked and hate myself for this trivial way to spend some time.
It makes a change from all the issue around poverty.
Dodgy theology.
Heart issues.

Jessie fone calls etc..
this is so throw away.
Lovable .
Rubbish.
But sometimes because life is hard we just need to deconstruct our emotions...our thinking..our feelings and watch rubbish TV

SO THINGS ARE SO SHAMEFUL

its so cold at present

minus 3 most evenings at present 2-5 that`s not very warm
here l am walking  sandy beach lost one glove but feel need to be out
also like many limited in times l can have my heating on

life is hard

Some of the risk factors for heart disease

Some of the risk factors for heart disease and eventually a heart attack are high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea, and high cholesterol

Add to that living in the north east, supporting hull city, waiting for jessie to phone from a fonebox, to say grab the cat and drive real fast,

Add to that poor eyesight, walking along beaches on freezing windy chill factor days,
staying  out looking for . . . `hill street blues`...on DVD

Add to that reconstructing my own faith, assisting others to grow and develop, professional youth worker, dodgy theology, eating chips on seafronts, believing you can be a kingdom person in the real sense of the word

The measure of how we treat those poor vulnerable sick and in need is a measure of how we reflect God to others.

“I just despair for their disability awareness,
because if it has happened to me then it has
happened to a lot of other people as well.”
The measure of how we treat those poor vulnerable sick and in need is a measure of how we reflect God to others.

now a little something on the football in Hull
what was striking was the lack of fight from the manager. An emotional character who wears his heart on his sleeve, Slutsky has never hid his excitement or deflation this season, but where was the fight when he needed it most?
Trying hard to read people and work around emotional literacy .This Character the manager of Hull City is terrific. He rides around Hull, feels at home with people.Went to hull fair event in October,on his own, walked around .
Almost as if he knew his future was resolved as he headed down the tunnel straight after the final whistle, Slutsky didn’t come out swinging. The journalist working on this story shows us an understanding of defeat in a person. There was no anger at the manner of the capitulation which is likely to have cost him his job, PERHAPS without knowing he paints a narrative of human beings fall. All the often, his seen emotions are absent . There was no visible sign of a fight to keep hold of his position. Instead he admitted it would be normal to be sacked in his position.WE IN MY FIELD OF WORK TALK A GREAT DEAL ABOUT BEING `OPEN` AND ` HONEST. Open and honest yes, but also naive. The language barrier has not always been Slutsky’s friend, with the manager not hiding behind it but often coming across as too honest with his simple, open answers. He is bankrupt of emotions, even his words will fail as the task gets proven to be unworkable. The culture the manner and methods have broken this persons character, and worse it shows.

cold weather ways and freezing in way we treat each other

so its fresh ..cold..wintry..and still here working on some court papers..concluded with this quote

I wish to add that this whole procedure has no doubt placed stress on the health issues and is measure of how this Government, (and its agents), act in treating those who are vulnerable, weaker, and in poor health. This measure is unacceptable and this information and all information in this hearing, and in such hearings, serve as a reminder of this behaviour.

ESA the whole procedure has no doubt placed stress on the health issues people face, they remain a further measure of how this Government, (and its agents), act in treating those who are vulnerable, weaker, and in poor health. ESA hearing, all such hearings, serve as a reminder of this behaviour.
not great in Britain anymore something so unchristian about these acts

      gotta ask why?

      ITS BLACK FRIDAY AND MANY
      HAVE GONE SHOPPING
                              gotta ask why?

      LOOK AFTER YOUR HEART

Your heart started beating 4 weeks after conception and every day your heart should create enough energy to drive a truck for 20 miles (32km), as it pumps around 6,000-7,500 litres of blood around your body.

We are now aware that the heart holds, different memories then the head.

We still have so much to learn
      about our bodies.

But if your heart is not performing well, that huge issue,as the biggest muscle in your bodies is your heart.

Recently and l saw this around 4 years ago, scientists discovered that you can die from a `broken heart`
so all them songs are telling us the truth.

Scientists have said that divorce, operations and even winning the lottery are as likely as bereavement to trigger heart attacks

Hear us when we call to you

The Bible tells us God is a rescuer. God says to the Israelite's, “I rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians” (Judges 6:9). He promises, in Psalm 91:15, “When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honour him.” The Psalms reference God as a rescuer about thirty times!

So hear us when we call to you

We all need to keep an eye out for the another person because, if you’re a child of God,
a follower of Jesus ,you are never in the furnace alone.

So hear us when we call to you

The trouble with so many responses l read from other Pastors and those in mission is that we still do not get it...the stories are not known to the many.

So hear us when we call to you

We have to ask God serious questions...is it blaspheme to feel God is AWOL

So hear us when we call to you

Need to be open in our wrestling, prepared to say tough stuff...don`t loose sight of the sense of Godly in your life.Perhaps darkly a while ago.In a question or a remark. In nature

so it`s time to invest in you

so it`s time to invest in you

find a place to sit quietly and listen
      try this piece of music
      its classical `A Lark ascending`

if  It possible look up and watch the action as birds fly

      let the music fill you

switch off all other thoughts and watch the sky

we need to not be frightened to have some "me" time....BUT must switch off the noises inside your head
they will return..bringing all the chaos...but for now switch off...try and allow the whole of the
time its around 15 minutes or so..ponder..reflect..breathe in YOU...

occasionally we have to remind ourselves that `this is your life`
`life is so short`...do the things you love...If you can find someone to share that life of yours with
      what a bonus...LIFE is short..

Sick ...poor ...other issue Christian faith looks at!

In medieval times the church was found, in the Chaos serving poor,
      Helping the wretched,
      creating community,
      Building Cathedrals .

      BUT poverty remains...
      The sick still ill.....
Are those virtues assisting the issue
NOT seeing NOR presenting a solution?

Tough Questions difficult issues . .
Is this just ,spiritual masturbation, ?
we crusade into situations returning home feeling good....not achieved anything . . .

its one of those nights . . . when David C....has fallen ill

well they are saying goodbye David Cassidy
some are saying he is ill and his death is fake news
still got a few records and CD`s
But my favourite song is one that means a lot that l gave to  . ..forever angel...on mix tape all those years ago the song was old then. . it went like this....

It's one of those nights when you turn out the lights
And you sit in the dark and say to yourself 'I miss her'
It's one of those moods when your body broods
And you conjure up her picture and you kiss her
It's one of those things for the pain it brings
You say to yourself 'Hey couldn't I live without it?''
Well, I think so, on the other hand, I doubt it
Well suddenly she's crashing through my mind
Like waves upon the shore (like waves upon the shore)
And I nod my head, whoa yes love, I'd welcome you again

If you knocked upon my door (If you knocked upon my door)
If you didn't, I'd seek you out love, I'd track you down for sure
Like a thousand times before (Like a thousand times before)

      Majjistral Nature

The Majjistral Nature and History Park is celebrating the 10th Year anniversary of Malta’s first national park with a series of activities throughout this month and the coming year.

l really love walking to this place and enjoying the views it normally after a lazy breakfast
      chat with friends
then slow walk spend hours here
cross the road opposite gates and drink cold cola
then walk back for a long swim before retiring after super evening meal
its a treat l need to have again very soon

as any youth worker will tell you
New research has suggested that eating late at night can raise the risk of heart disease
Eating before bed raises the chance of heart disease and diabetes, something l have felt to be true fro a long time but what is the answer....l do a work that means l always had anti-social hours and odd work patterns with middle of the afternoon 13-00>>>16-00>>> being time off.
so coming in after normally 22-30 you are still energised and hungry

they cannot find the Cathedral’s to help . . .

As other`s reject the God of the Bible and his teachings . . . they cannot find the Cathedral’s to help . . . So ..do not ponder. Those of us who are enablers of the Christian faith need to seek a cafeteria responses to the stumblers

Cafeteria church must respond to the stumbles people make (1)

Psychological limits define personal dignity. When we say, “You just crossed a line,” we are speaking about a psychological limit that marks the distinction between behaviour that does not cause emotional harm and behaviours that causes emotional harm.

Do we live in world with porous boundaries?

Messy spirituality  . . where there are few gaps between what is understood as secular and what is genuine spirituality?

      Contemporary parlance

Our common way of speaking is limited due to lack of social modality ..we do not move around as much
But not just in geographical sense. . .
limited by the groups we are part of. . .
Further limited due to lots of issues in the way we forming new groups..ways of thinking  . .
Confluence  . way we come together ..has changed and we don’t have the fluidity as previous, ... that means the choices we need to make are more limited.
There is a sense of medieval in-betweeness as we stumble looking for Cathedral’s to sit and ponder . . .
      The where are we?
      What are we doing here?
In what direction should we be going?

As other`s reject the God of the Bible and his teachings . . .
they cannot find the Cathedral’s to help . . .
      So we do not ponder.
Those of us who are enablers of the Christian faith need to seek a cafeteria responses to the stumblers
      Those who are seeking
                           Those searching

We need to be varied in our responses

      here some five word therapy

pick around five words to describe how you are feeling at present

       frustrated
       disconnected
       hopeful
                                          wiser
                                          disappointed

now why do you own those feelings.....
frustrated  . . well someone not been in a position to take or listen to my advice which l pondered over and was graceful about exploring with them..also the court issue not been good around my employment

disconnected . .  this rural community is tough place to exist among..honestly cold that a factor but nothing happening important to be honest

hopeful       Spoke to a guy about the top issue and conversation both of us need to have with a Rouge ..he filled me with hope as we both prayed around the issue `l learn`t from this guy

wiser  . .well should always be growing more so at my age then when younger

disappointed . . that sometimes things do not work out the way we wish they would but still thank God even though wish for different

      the Maltese not that bad

The Maltese when they not crashing busses
      not trying to be European
when they not blowing up journalists
      Fighting the germans
killing anything that is protected and flies
      there OK

If you believing..there a man in the moon...not really

I believe it's possible in this culture to become invisible
But more espically if you are underhanded
Be that via Dogma, dodgy messianic teaching, fraud or just telling awful untruths
You can spout off then remain invisible

That appears to be a route taken by some
People find it easy to be taken in by nice spoken words
      Cute smile...dressed up lies
Ignore when some prophesy interrupts cosy feeling some have around a persons words
Let's face it...if all you have to do all day is examine stupid half truths ..then present them as cultish ideals
      Some will follow

      This l am discovering

      Not nice......

This is the seaside town they forgot to close down

`I `ve been trudging slowly over wet sand

Back to the amusement arcade with the   ...iss me quick hats..with the K missing

      Come Armageddon come`

Back to my hotel room to watch the full moon

Walked some miles today keeping healthy

Tried to meet an old friend but there not to be trusted . . .not too honest

Everyday here is like a Sunday in the sixties...being quite honest the boredom, the greyish

      Quiet ...grey...cold...miserable...boring...pricey...the tea tastes awful

appreciate the now and then of everday life

this may appear at first look a joke but FACEBOOK banned this card as its too sexy
it supposed to be adult themed ..it not its a red breasted robin a bird that changes couler slightly in winter  . .face book banned people and events there is no come back..that it banned
l find this both funny and honestly slightly maddening but its where we are at present social media become something of a `way of life`in the world we now occupy

life sometimes the simple pleasure is getting the bus
appreciate the now and then of everday life
bird song..cup of tea..chatting..watching TV programme you like . .listening to Vinyl..being hugged..reading a book..playing stupid computer game..pondering on an issue..answering the door to an old friend..walk along the coast..falling asleep in front of the fire..sometimes its the simple pleasures..
..that make life so complete . .

      It depends on people

If your vision doesn’t scare you,
                          it’s too small!
The success of your vision depends on people embracing your concept the way you communicated the idea.

      “where we are now”?

      People embrace sentences.

How would you describe and gather others around your vision?

Are people receiving the message around the Vision

what do you make a stand about.

The Christian owner of a toyshop chain will not be opening his stores this Christmas Eve as it falls on a Sunday.
Gary Grant, founder of The Entertainer, does not open his stores on Sundays because of his Christian faith.
Gary became a Christian in 1991, after attending a men’s breakfast at his local church.
The Entertainer does not stock Halloween goods or realistic weaponry, and ten per cent of its profits are given to charity.
The company says it will “only sell toys we believe have real play value, represent good value for money and are suitable for the children they’re made for”.
well you`ve either got faith or you got disbelief there ain`t no neutral ground
what do you make a stand about.
what getting your juices going around justice, poverty, faith journey, social literacy, emotional intelligence of yourself.?
      Anything?

gotta ask ...as we explore virtues of manhood

The top, most aspired to, values were reliability and dependability, with 97% of men saying these were moderately to very important to them. Next were honesty (96%) and loyalty (95%),

well that about right when we looking at values and virtues we should be holding as the male of the human species
