STARRY STARRY NITE

Vincent
        Starry
       Starry night
Paint your palette blue and grey
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the
Darkness in my soul.
                                       Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colours on the snowy linen land.
And now I understand what you tried to say to me
How you suffered for your sanity
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen
They did not know how

Perhaps they'll listen now.
Starry
Starry night
             Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze reflect in
                Vincent's eyes of China blue.
                         Colors changing hue
                    Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's
Loving hand.
And now I understand what you tried to say to me

'I can see it all so clearly

              Dear spirit,

I can see what you can't see
I can see you love her loudly
When she needs you quietly…

Being misunderstood by the Church is not a new thing

It begins in 1891, a year after Van Gogh died, when a postman discovers an undelivered letter the artist wrote to his brother Theo, and sends his very reluctant, very drunk son to deliver it — a task that will prove difficult. The postman's son discovers that Theo died soon after Vincent did, and then tries to find others who knew him, realizing as he goes that the death that was said to be a suicide, may not have been so cut and dried.

Vincent, apart from being a misunderstood human being, and later a great Painter. He was a street worker kind of, his own writings display this.
In his poverty stricken community he would place himself along side the vulnerable. Painting portraits and using the money to provide a meal for those poor among the community.
The Church became embarrassed by him bringing these people into the worship community. he felt isolated further his behaviour became issue for his pastor father plus others in his family.Eventually his mental health issue became more evident Vincent took his own life.
Being misunderstood by the Church
 is not a new thing.
Being rejected by a worship community
that no new thing either

YOUR REASON AND YOUR JUDGEMENT

Your soul is oftentimes a battlefield,
upon your reason and your judgment
wage war
against your passion and your appetite.”

From a `Lebanese` Prophet and follower of Jesus.
Kahill Gabran wrote this in a popular form around 1972

Some how he became not well known

Indeed there are so many teachings no longer finding applause

I am like you not a number . . . .just live in the northeast that all ... that the jist of whats wrong with me

Discord and disharmony are very much the nature and supplement of life local. Further with some there are health issues. Monetary cares.
Isolation and feelings of detachment. ln the rural environment this is amplified people struggle but keep those struggles separate from interactions.
The life many live as l observe is isolated,
detached,
impoverished,
with ill and poor health alongside adding to further complications.
its broken . . .the society here it`s Broken.

Daniel: Hello?
Harry Edwards: Hi, is that Daniel?
Daniel: Yes, it is. Hi.
Harry Edwards: Hi, Daniel, it's Harry Edwards here. We spoke the other day at the garden centre...
Daniel: Oh, yeah, yeah.
Harry Edwards: ...when you came down and handed your CV. How are you doing, mate? Are you all right?
Daniel: Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, thanks, yeah.
Harry Edwards: Er, listen. I tell you what, mate, I've been going through all the CVs I've had handed over the last couple of weeks. And I really like the look of yours. Erm, you've got the experience I'm looking for. I was wondering if you could possibly, er, pop by tomorrow and that for an interview?
Daniel: Oh... I'm really sorry, er, Mr. Edwards, but, you know, er, my doctor's told us I cannot come back to work yet.
Harry Edwards: So you're not actually looking for work, then?
Daniel: Well, it's hard to explain, you know.
Harry Edwards: So, well, what's the point of handing in your CV if you're not looking for work?
Daniel: Well it's the only way I can get me benefits, you know?
Harry Edwards: Benefits? So you prefer to be on benefits than do a day's graft? You know, I thought you were a genuine bloke. You know, I've spent a lot of time going through them all. I've... I was gonna put some graft your way. You've just wasted my time completely. Why don't you just sod right off!
[hangs up the phone]
Daniel: Listen, that's not...

SO THIS FREEDOM . . . . .YOU MUST BE JOKING

A shocking attack on a 60-year-old woman by pro-transsexual activists has been widely denounced in the media.
The Times’ columnist Janice Turner witnessed Maria MacLachlan being punched and kicked as she met with others to discuss Government plans to allow people to legally self-identify their gender.
Turner said the attack reveals the lengths to which activists will go to shut down debate

This unreported yet pretty common incident ,is part of the modern dialogue in which if you hold unpopular view, or even views not common, you are attacked and often labelled.
Racist,
if you voted to leave the EU.
Pervert,
If you oppose LGB ...??TRANS community, Latest being pansexual ,anything and anyone, yes l am apposed to the normalisation of wicked self centred self promoting body active group.
. . .  men who say they are women are still male, and believe allowing men who identify as female to enter female-only spaces puts women at risk. . .
This debate has become large among the Church community, thus making sure that it is often discussed, and decisions made.
Which are threatening Biblical standards.
Principles which are God given are now brought into question by what is a small disturbed group.
Active yes they are that...relevant NOT in a month of Sundays.
self serving self centred and self promoting.

An Autumn day in my life

Life it includes endings

it includes goodbyes

Mum is again in hospital

still she receives care love and support
not just from family

but from NHS professionals

strangers and friends.

the narrative of life

we all need community

sometimes we are alone

we all need quiet

sometimes it just noise and hassle

we all need to be talking and listening

sometimes it discord and lack of harmony

it the narrative of life

I find it shameful that as voyeurs, we as a society will watch on the edge of our seats the take down of another human being and applaud it. It’s barbaric.
That a true measure how low we sank.
Schedules full of programmes on the TV that promote ethics and values l do not recognise.
There is a new aggression from the LBGTPO Communities, Hounding people from hotels where they are debating, following them to Hyde park Corner .
Further distress, then members of the trans community ( man to women)..attacked a 60 year old woman.

what we all need is a good listening to!

Very moved programme about Whitney Houston recently, real shame none sat and chatted about her real problems. talk and listen to each other.
The same situation occurred with Robin Williams, so funny, talented, and so very special .
Yet he hide his hurts his pains his true self.

the title of Nick Broomfield’s new documentary about Whitney Houston echoes a question she often asked herself: “Can I be me?” Apparently, she often could not. According to Broomfield’s damning film, Houston had to repress her true self throughout much of her life

We all must wrestle with how we share our self.
But that true self is you and so very special.
Others need to get to know and love the true You.
`Emotional literacy` is a real issue in this northern town, people suppress their own feelings and become isolated.

Those around find it hard like with the two people above find it difficult to confront and listen.

We need to listen more to each other
We need to talk more to each other

WEARING A MASK

 @spiritodelarue

"most journeys in life hit the rocks sometimes  ....
all journeys in life face ripples  ....No journeys are smooth all the time.."

When l speak on faith journeys l remind people attending the days training of these everyday, simple facts.

sometimes we know the plain ,simple, obvious .But we do not want to accept this.
Some people open up in training and growth events in ways others do not quite expect. It hard to keep people focused at such times. But it alos tells myself that in community like Church, we have a mask on..the one we want others to see...NOT the real us.
that what people need to see more the real YOU and I.

all journeys in life face ripples  ....No journeys are smooth all the time.."

IT`S ALL SO DIFFERENT NOW

when we think back to our youth we feel it was better
kidz were not so cheeky everything was cheaper..the winters were proper winters....sun was brighter ..life was much more simple
well that actually may be the case..the reality is life happens
you know what that is?
its that thing going on while you and l wait for other stuff
propel say their was more belief
that may be the case
but l just simply suggest that it was different
life was different.
we were different,we are different now
Stuff got in the way
Perhaps worse of all... we threw Jesus out of our life...
while we moved on....NOW the sandbox is silent life is different

Who is going to address these issues?

Our justice system is a joke! First the authorities wouldn't say that the grooming gangs throughout our country were mostly Pakistani Muslims, they were "Asian". Now some idiot judge won't even admit that the survivors were almost exclusively white! A judge in Newcastle has ruled that the exploitation of white girls in the city was not racially motivated. Instead, they picked their victims because they were young and vulnerable.

Yes, and also white! And they weren't afraid to say white girls are whores too!

A transgender double rapist who was moved to a women's jail has been put in segregation after making unwanted sexual advances to inmates. Jessica Winfield, who was born Martin Ponting, raped two young girls,

but still this scumbag was allowed to be put in a women's jail and have gender reassignment surgery on the NHS!

many years ago l read a book by Tony Campola called ``who switched the price tags,``
One of the conclusions was if we keep on this social experiment one concern would be the social work bill. The amount we would be paying in real money terms
An amount that would lead to great hardship ..
That was around 1986.
The cost has been mounting and gets harder each year.
We have not mentioned the emotional and spiritual cost the workers have left these field in drones, very disillusioned. Further the terms and conditions along with the challenge they are not allowed to muster.
Every day we see such stories as the ones above, some are not even reported but we are getting to a place when we either return to basics or seek justice for all, but especially victims or we political for sure will have a civil war.
The Author of the false religion known as Islam was all about causing mischief at the least, to the known religions and ethical practices of that period.
These followers of that false religion the Muslim man from originally Pakistan are carrying on such mischief bringing disturbance and evil as the destroy lives around them.
But how a sexual deviant person can be so supported after raping young girls is beyond myself
In ten years’ time the Children of these rapes will need to make further adjustments as they enter adulthood via teenage years.
Who is going to address these issues?

life is a NOOOOOO roller coaster . . hate that song

life journey can be an emotional roller coaster
but the views and the climb
 up are character defying
thought about this when l travelled
along the moors late yesterday evening
 after meeting in Hull

meanwhile in the world out there

Iranian authorities have blamed a "technical glitch" after female football fans were given hope that they could watch the men's national team.
It seemed the ban on women attending men's football matches had been lifted on Saturday, when an option for women's tickets for a World Cup qualifier against Syria appeared online.
Alleged members of a banned neo-Nazi group arrested on suspicion of preparing acts of terror are serving members of the Army, the Ministry of Defence has said.
 . . . . . . .That please the BBC who this fits into all their prejudiced reporting  . . .
One aspect of Larkin’s letters, revealed by  the exhibition, is that many of them contain doodles depicting various animal figures. They see Larkin imagining himself and the people he wrote to as rabbits and seals
 . . . . . . .Well that one crept up on me from the city of culture . . ..

Gender neutral people can change identity documents to X,

 replacing male or female

 . . . . ...World going one way ....LITTLE ME going another. . . .

Poot say to Bodie that it's a cold world. Bodie reminds him that he had said before that it was getting warmer because of global warming. That's when Poot replies with this quote.

Autumn creeping up on us like death

Autumn creeping up on us like death we don`t give thought it arrives then its all over..that it.. this thing called life.... NOT had any coffee yet folks can anyone tell

Should guns be evident in Church

l never felt unsafe at Church

pray for today Autumn begins, 1 sept... 2017

Jesus my lord,
you settled peace over the waters
and they were calm,
and you called out to your people
to be still and trust.

So we beg—although that may be difficult.
Lead us back.

So we truly understand the nature of life
Our purpose in that rhyme.
Calm the storms, some are within each of us, some are outside in this world.

A troubled world.
A beautiful world .
The rage outside and inside us,
We pray Lord Jesus settle us, calm each of us.

Nurture good thoughts, deeds, actions from each of us.
let us be still
allow us to find a space where we can trust you.
Amen

The Matthew blessing, May God grant us enough stupidity to believe? We can go from this place and make the world a better place, May we wi...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
