England in the north

Homelessness
Poverty
Old people die cold and alone
Food banks
Loneliness
Youth feel so wasted
Mid 50's feel isolated ignored
Health services cut
3rd generation in some families unemployed
Skint
Hope lost
Apathy won without a fight
Thieves run free
Rapist not punished
Terror
Mental illness evident

Say something.......call me.........giving up on you.......

Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'll be the one, if you want me to
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on you

And I am feeling so small
It was over my head
I know nothing at all

And I will stumble and fall
I'm still learning to love
Just starting to crawl

Say something, I'm giving up on you
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
Anywhere I would've followed you
Say something, I'm giving up on

True that

How very, very true,
What are we hiding from others today?
Try reading the book
'Why am l afraid to tell you
I love you'
As the singer sang the song.
I listened thought how true
"Say something l'm giving up on you,
Say something l'm giving up on you"
Trouble, if concerned, worried, people like us, we don't give in on You. I won't give up on you! Promise.

1400 abused Police looked the other way

The IPCC probe comes after a whistleblower told the BBC she had regularly passed details about alleged abusers to senior police officers but they had failed to act.

The 10 officers - some of whom are still serving with South Yorkshire Police - were identified in Professor Jay's report, which detailed how children had been subjected to trafficking, rape and other sexual exploitation between 1997 to 2013.

Why does that simply not surprise me?

Don't know about you but l 'm a believer

It all came about when l was 17
Plus 6 months when l prayed earnestly to The Lord God of all Jesus
It is truth and that became relevant to myself
Yes life not been a picnic and for many from my culture,City of Hull, family friends
They may say the same
But this know to be truth.
Jesus revealed himself to me and that the journey my life took from then till now
Present in my words and actions thoughts and pattern

28% increase youth homelessness

Housing and homelessness charity Shelter said it has seen a 28 per cent increase in calls from people on the brink of homelessness since 2012 - a sign of the struggles of people at the very sharp end of the UK's housing crisis.
looking for stratagies to communicate
check out blob resources got few
so can connect with me ...

thinlines

Been out visiting family and friends in Hull.
went to get Mums papers.
She reads 3 a day and the family all do
so they get well read,
town was busy and active at 06.30.
Felt really good shops open along with several cafes,
Also fruit agents getting stuff out on the pavements.
Living very Rural,
sometimes hard to recall what hectic really is.
Here it is very cold, colder then Yorkshire. `isolated`.
People look back fondly.
BUT,
There is a beauty in rural community.
listened to family, friends, so much illness around.
Dementia
Heart failure
Leg pain
Illness
Here l stand,
but grateful for all l am.
all l have been,
all that l still have
Do you have regrets  . . .do l have regrets?
not for myself, yes liked to have had somethings different,
but life doesn`t give you lot of choices.
Life is tough in the north,
foodbanks, lack of employment, prospects, opportunities, . .
Churches providing community relief, but faith community getting stretched.

life is beautiful . .tough
Communications resilience, hard to develop.
grateful for the conversation had last few days.
Plus recent support and friendship l have experienced.
`Hull thinline between heaven and here`,
Rural community, which feels like `thinline between heaven and here`.
Paradise bay, Malta` my idea of heaven on earth`.

Mines bigger

Inspector Steve Lamb, who leads the northern neighbourhood policing team, said: "We will not hide from the fact there is a problem with a large gang operating in north Hull and Orchard Park. But my gang is bigger than their gang and we will get the better of them.

Hell/Hull worth a read.
But feel this guy got it wrong very poor responses to Serious issue.
But it also playground antics.
They losing the plot when this is the response,
What are the issue here?
Boredom,
Lack of respect,
Emptiness,
Failure of the services to support and assist.
What's it like for the local community?
Where are the other responses?
Sure the guy got tough place to enforce the law, plus `local Dwarfs', working at hull fair are a bigger gang then these 11- 14 year old giving Lamb issues.
What about partnership working?
Is it worse now or has it been like this for a while?
But let's not forget
"His is bigger then theirs"

But we landed on a comet in space
Expensive space dust
System error or perhaps it's me?

Let the day begin by saying"Thank U Lord"

Here to the workers on the streets

Here to you my love
With blessings from above
Let the day begin

Everything in Heaven

It's a "thinline between Heaven and Hull"
Thinline between heaven and here
First heard that line, those words, spoken by `Bubbles` in the wire
One of my favourite TV programmes stuck with me l adopted it for this blog
Space to share thoughts ideas reflections guidance. And instruction
Sat today in sliema drinking cuppa at 'Tony's bar' again
Drank small Larger, enough for a dinner time
World changes fast technically, do we advance as quickly
Simple pleasure, quiet drink on a hot day.
Still its progress to me.
So now at this moment feels like a "thinline between heaven and here".

Will we meet in 'Tony's bar' in heaven will we chat discuss the day!
`Everything In heaven comes apart` said the singer, (Martyn Joseph)
The quiet cup of tea.
Sitting, chatting with friends.
Answered prayers at last fulfilled
Unanswered prayer explained
Everything in heaven comes  apart

We all need to read life

Those feelings we get
That funny sense
Awareness floods thoughts
Slow releasation not quite right
Could it be what God planted inside us
Can't escape we have too perform lots areas of life
Process what it takes
But do we reflect enough
Quietly with The Lord
Perhaps not religious with your own thoughts
Think about a time when something was happening
Did a sense make you aware
Did you respond or ignore
That strange feeling . . .voice. .
God and me always had our time . .thank Jesus talks his presence
Perhaps you just. A spiritual kinda person
So. . . . .
Good have time each day to reflect and read around your life
Heard any strange voices, feelings unique sense in you recently?

Reading the life around me!

Let's hope they can start some rememberance of how to win football matches
In my view they showing relegation form
Most expensive hull city team but not doing the performance on the pitch
Everything in life is performanceand process
This is difficult time on the pitch
Also it's only a game

My remberance service was in Valatta
Good service followed by cup of tea, reading life around myself.
Slept for a while then
Proud to say this simple thing
45 minutes in local Sea
Strenuous but wholesome exercise.

Hullabaloo gossip

Bit of paper talk around the beloved

The Tigers produced three committed displays in October to take three points at home to Crystal Palace and a point from both the Emirates and Anfield – an impressive haul from what on paper were three tricky fixtures.

And the Premier League appear to agree as Bruce has received a nomination, alongside some top name bosses.

In 364 matches, Bruce has never picked up the award as a boss in the top flight and will have to beat off competition from West Ham’s Sam Allardyce, Newcastle boss Alan Pardew and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Swim outdoors in November

Following last weeks heart issues
Plus hospital visits
Gone live each day
Like I am dying
Swim outdoors
Climb hills
Grant grace
May even ride a bull named fu man chu
Call out forever angels name
Live like your dyin'!

Suppose got a few DVD too watch as well couple CD still need to listen too plus another glass of JD

Tough one l heard

The most difficult conversation took place as l was in hospital last week
Not for myself, let's make this clear
Across the bed from me on ward 10
The curtains drawn around Brain, the consultant attended and spoke
You need to think about wether or not you need resuscitation
Your heart is telling you it poorly
(Such a odd word) your heart is poorly so may not have best quality of life there is little else we can do
No longer can we fit tube . . . . .
"Anyway think about wether or not you want to be brought back . . . . "
Wow . . .what a conversation to hear. . . .listen to . . .
Death we're is your sting, grave were is your victory

Freckin up early.

Still getting up on British summer time the clocks went forward. or was it back?
Either way clocks went one way Kevin went another, Real time it says 04.30.
Anyway slight twinges with heart but time soon for tablets
Having conversation with myself about managing these discomforts and slowing down.
Taking it easy,
Not doing so much,
Preventing further heart stress,
Some issues that l know create confrontation
trying to not be part of, stay away from.

Disappointed in city losing

What a lovely set of knockers
Below
But come on brucite and the boys we need a win getting a bit Sunderland in our ways
E.G. Slack defensivly
Bruce now has some big decisions to make in every area across the field for the visit to Turf Moor. It’s too early in the season to say this weekend is a do-or-die clash, but you don’t want to be in the bottom half with another international break looming.

Good morning sunny cloudy greetings November. 2014

Emotionally we used to separate this from spitirual development.
Often we had physical pursuits, spiritual, mental, emotional, social l think.
All separate
Of course the Godly stuff was the deep spiritual stuff
But what have l learnt . . . .well this!

"It been the longest winter without you. . . . No matter l can't forget you . . ."

Well this is part of me,the soul of the song, touching lyrics, connect,is that not also spiritual as it touches me inside.
Even playing with my memorie as time ,person, place, moment is revisited.
I have learn't that God is interested in that,if he wasn't l would want nothing to do with such a saviour.
Jesus is interested in the whole of me,and you.
There is nothing he does not want to know about in our life's
That includes movies music muse and more
Because we are created in the image of God spiritual living loving beings
Gets my juices going to relise this!

Storms....huge weather variates at present

Huge winds brought chills waves and stormy conditions Despite this turmoil Got dressed, got out  Excitement conversation's  Pictures and...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
