Ashamed part 1

 

Trying to sum this day up in few words have to start with ....Lack...as in lack of kindness evident in attitude at bus stops people pushed others away just to board the vehicle. Those first where not allowed to be at the front of the queue. 

Lack...as in compassion for weaker older and most vulnerable 

Lack.. of over whole empathize with vulnerable groupings.

Crowds flooded the streets, arrived bring economic rewards those who not successful do not get a place. Packed with people... throngs of people all about getting to glimpse the views. Enjoy the weather.

My forever kinda place. Overtouristed. On this island there is now independence based on 'rapid financial economic' well-being of a select few. There now has come about 'rampant development' that is 'rooted in corruption' the 'bare bones' have long been exposed Now looks ugly exposed, very evident.

Everywhere you experience rudeness, arrogance, lack of everyday manners. Evident in first to the view. Rush to the meals. Pace with which eat food, untidiness. New morality established.

Conditions on roads public transport hospitality actual endanger others. The exploited workforce try to get by on low-income wages, working long hours  Exploited by mangers who are racist and bullies. Unspiritual.

My forever kinda place ought to be ASHAMED.

Never gifted.

They weren't ever a gifted group. Always it was a response to some need often identified by others. Drug taking youngsters...Blighted estate...Poverty ..poorly educated . frontiers kidz ..not most impressive. Various levels of dysfunctions labelled...sadly we used a term called : Unchurched.

There we're others in the gifted groups who educational attainment was always higher...troubled less if you measured success . As directed.

But we reached them they had different skills base. Alumni was on different spectrum. Then funding streams vanished (like the tailoring trade almost overnight ready made suits flooded the market and bespoke tailoring died). The dangerous street corners became new gathering place along with explorative social media of 'Facebook' and 'stick ox'.

All the indications of real world successfully absent . The polished words of professional managers knew them from a distances.

Youth workers are no longer her required. 

Be correct.

 Be correct and let's keep stranding up to bullies. I like the Denmark prime minister words arguing that allow main agitator to speak. Then give  a considered response 

Churchill the British leader during the war in 1939 - 1945 said something about keeping letter on your pocket for a while before sending this through postal system.

Noted opposite offered between French leader and bullyboy Trump. Macron had sent a text message  it's too informal plus rather foolish way to negotiate with a bully about serious issues always measured response will bring correct way out of difficult issues 

I mean it's easy in a blog. It's easy writing this after reflection. Nevertheless the issues remains. Discussion and negotiation not threats and tests. Do the correct thing when you should always we hen you can.

It's great to watch storms from the shelter of a secure place while the old DJ in myself listens to 70s music on my latest Spotify playlist.

Politically we are witnessing a bully boy Trump storm. Only got one question and it's deeper then the 'clickbait  which may have brought you this direction.

The partisan Claim to follow Jesus the saviour, how does that sit with your threats further your bullying.?

Here lies the system error. Jesus calls us to follow him , not on Twitter, but observe his kingdom principles stick with them use them as building blocks to shape you as an individual, plan your community gatherings around you plus such liked minded individuals. Change society in these kingdom ways. You see l don't quite get how that fits with Trumps bullying. 

We still can't believe the news today.

Psalm 40 reminds us that it is to Yahweh that we must turn in trouble as well as in joy, when we're in the pit and when we're on the peak. That transition from pit to peak is precisely where Psalm 40 opens.

Narrative

 Sometimes like when heard song by Taylor Swift recently called 'Cornelia street '. It's story telling the words and it's Lyrical value. These all come together to draw an individual into the concept.
It happens a lot to many the narrative draws a person into the moment. The song then also becomes there's ..or that group ..or that moment...later it all becomes that memory.
It may not be able to grasp for others like a joke may not appear funny to another. Then again it may be something you feel, those words are what you'd like to say...but another's done this for you.
Can't always grasp the narrative but you love the song and it stays with you. Decades later you hold it in a special place in your LIFE often sharing all your thematic and emotions.

Liturgy of Church can be the same but we struggle to share this. Sometimes waited for the moment, wanting to find right words. Hoping others can feel the spirituality of the narrative. Capture what you grasped in the moment.

Becoming perhaps intolerable but perhaps it's more. Everywhere l travel people got music on got films on...intrusive and affects others.
Unkind and ignorant.

Trying to give context here :- UK leaders many feel openly expressing are being led by small Muslim communities. Hence expressing..."The Government are absolutely killing people who work hard and have nothing to show for it. At the same time seeing illegal mass migration, where everything is given to them for free, paid for by us."

This can't go on!

Try get some context .

There needs to be a mechanism to discourage, but better exclude, elected officials in our cities ,parliament, whose principal focus is on subjects that don't effect the country forward, such councillors and MPs are often focused on sectarian religious issues.

The evidence show the types of questions in the House of Commons from ethnic minority MPs vs non-ethnic minority MPs. Many were born abroad, have dual citizenship and having imported toxic sectarian politics into the UK.

Some MPs have 50% of their questions orientated around Gaza and asylum for example.

 ....... Are we human or we dancers.... This is new to me a song performed at tonight's Karaoke event in hotel where mixture of Aunt Sally's, drugged out wannabee's.  Loud over the top performance ..humble tryers, misfits of human race..Gathered oh by the way myself included.

Got to that Autumn stage where walking these places Valletta, Medina, paceville with my warm coat.

These towns and lanes they hold for myself voices images of walking with you. Cuppa with you:-resting on bus to Hotel with you:-Late night calls resting on the Pillow:-Putting you on loudspeaker as we conversed.

The Author of this blog just rambles on expressing their own views with the fragility of my knowledge.  Sometimes expect lack of knowledge. But it's a blog,' a caught in the moment reflection'. Perhaps got to see that l am just who l am. 

But something changing as the Woke liberalism fails along with the spent up socialist experiment better documented in Orwell's Animal Farm. At last Southern political elite,( in their quest to oust the Christian fellowship), finding that the Allah is our prophets God is wicked evil vile alternative to Peace. Is our society waking up to return to examine the healing power of following the Prince of Peace.?

Gender.

 

Not sure when it happened certain it was in my teens, became very aware of the fact that most of those around myself were comfortable with our gender. Which meant that the focus on washing the spots, cooking a meal, ironing, babysitting younger siblings, they were roles fulfilled. Taking interest in the kitchen was a position expected myself to fulfill. The eldest male in large working class Northern town .

I knew this was my role, knew this was comfortable.Traveling into Informal education via the Boxing game then Church based youth work. Exposed to girls football teams and Female leaders in the Church.

For myself there wasn’t a gender role or understanding to be learnt.

My professional path educated myself with much more clarity. Macho environment of Sporting game, the hardest game, Boxing. Home life, relationships, Church, gym, informal youth work all processing a context that showed myself Women were my equal and there wasn’t  gender role we could not achieve gender wasn’t an issue.

Contextually it was a working out .Youth work, trade l learnt was full of my Equals some of the  opposite gender also managed me plus my colleagues, in discussions they shared, encouraged, further supported this sojourner. Somehow others not exposed to this.

Was I just one of the lucky ones ?

Gossiping

We talked with eyes focused on us alone, Love in our way, looked in the shops talked about the prices and sometimes way things where. Cup of tea , cappuccino for Loving companion. Yesterday was silent deeply quiet, the days pretty long. Now time speeds by. Me in the way l do. Began to wonder a while ago. Now openly talk about.

"When l'm gone".

LIFE passed so quickly this style of internment ministry brought me to many places, so many people, so many special moments.

Sometimes we think communicating message to others but perhaps only your Brain understands. There is never with this friend of mine, never time when feel stressed as l can talk with openness. Recognising trust we have gained with each other.

The mystery

Like Bookends keeping in a familiar place. Place of support and trust. It's the youngsters world now. My thoughts have turned their in my body and mind.

STUFF.

ART always gets me thinking about 'Stuff'.
It's that stupid word again.'Stuff'.
When you don't guite focus, something kind of REM motion on your brains prevents me from getting balance or the focus.
Look at ART then get messages in my brain, come to understand better. Often get inspired to be creative not ARTISTIC but thoughtfulness. More clearer.ART does that to me. Ignites better conversation, different happenings. Music which to myself is form of ART implores in me same 'Stuff'.

Stuff like when get FAVORITE magazine with Free CD of tracks you only heard the odd one but something on the collection becomes firm new favorite
Stuff like friend comes around chat like it's been years time goes so fast. Depart sadder had to leave the conversation.
Stuff like the quietness of hearing someone's hurt , you stand together odd silence interrupted. May not feel 'been at your best'. But it's Stuff.

So when get home listen, read, share, more of my Music and Artistic , theological murmurings about STUFF.

Shadows fall long twinge the day with sadness

It's been tough gig along the coastal home town. Death visited alongside coastal dwelling ,it called, took three souls to another place. Lamentations fell ,teddy bears, and candles have been left. Lessons won't be learnt they will still try dodging waves on bitter days. Again others will fall like those that were taken by the tide.

Hero arrived...foolish girls took selfies...Bitter winds blew, waves swept LIFES ended. Me just so far away. On my time away. Like those l miss everything will move along. Shadows now hang over the town reminds us of the moment the Girl and mum took steps down to the beach. But l'm so far away. My thoughts turn to those folks who are there.

So many times well visit in my own mind those 'lost to me' who passed through my LIFE. 

Try to tell my son Matty how life changed. How the punch that hit me that day in February,now not so bad. Tears still come to my eyes. But lot better others filled the gap told you about before you departed.

It's not for the best ,' you not being here'. But got few new faces in my LIFE. 

Shadows twinged entered the day but lights not going out along the faith journey it's just LIFE is so different.

Me well guess l'm here. It's my place of escape looking at weather plus events it really needed.

It's not really a sharing moment on the blog today it's not deep spirituality. It's just a day.

It's just a day that's falling into next one that arrives soon.

Beautiful...kingdom Beautiful day..

We gathered , we collected walked as a group to church in 23 degrees sunshine. The kings arrived and we're greeted total enthusiasm. It was beautiful.

I don't get the chance to share beautiful with you beautiful people enough. It was incredibly beautiful. Very spiritual and laughter joy expectation and sense of Godliness at work. We smiled we chatted some drank...some drank again..few drank even more.

The organist play loudly. the children stroked dogs played pool and spoke about the event.

Spirituality filled the air as actors dressed up, played the role as we all felt blessed it was fun.

But it was spiritual and religious , factual, historical. We chatted.

 We gathered. It felt Beautiful.

British pastor ...moves King into position.

 

Waiting all day for a king....Then three come across at once. Mind you like all people with Authority they still ignore common people's.      More later.

• Developing among rural East Riding Church faith and healing group.

• Supported each week vulnerable people.
• Wrote daily about urban theology advocate wrestling and growth with new meanings heralded saintly patterns from the past.

First day comes too us with promise.

New year arrives together in our solitude surrounded by silence we may hope.

I am censoring myself because just stunned completely unable to offer even gesture nor sarcasm. They are silent. They stood on wrong side, they debate, shouted, alarmed others, but like issue of Child grooming in UK they will not speak up around issues of:-

Justice.

Mercy.

Redemption.

Intolerance.

Righteousness.

They have no moral compass with which to engage challenge. But when Israel fought they came out quickly with statements, actions, anti humanitarian objectives. Make threats to boycott Lemons, trade embargoes.
Imprisoned people for tweets yet they allowed a terrorist to live in UK from Egypt. But the Iranian people complete news blackout no comments.
As they lie in the streets brutalized. Women stoned to death for not wearing 6th century headwear. Students are shot dead further sent to correction camps.

SILENCE. Cannot fathom why !
