Hope is a practice, an attitude, a commitment. And something, more often than not, shaped by collaborating with, and belonging to, others. It is something we make together, Its missing, LIFE requires a commitment to build Hope, more so in present political climate, very much so in areas where Church has vacated its prime position.
The sea, nature, coulers, topography of a bird, Deer's in fields, wooded areas. Long beach walks across sandy dunes, all rooted in our desire to search for different, search for better, Nature brings us HOPE.
Places of HOPE include Community, being together, conversation can happen, needs to be away from political authorities, there we can argue discuss and find solutions. Had game of draughts today, trying to be strategic while enjoying being with two friends very quickly accepted by those who already meet collectively.
Now invited two others to join us next gathering HOPE grows in little conversation. Bringing HOPE about getting `stuck in` ,like in the garden on your knees planting, soil on your fingers, tried get up have a drink, then `back aching stuff` to get the soil worked over, tiled, dug up, result is growth in the land.
A lot of the work underground doesn't get seen. But like lot work in community development its taking place. My fiend said today `she no longer watches the news`. She right this never ending narrative brings me down , can feel overwhelming, problematic, so try find a place to feel HOPE. maybe with others in place not yet tried.
If really lucky, Can be along side others walking, exploring, visiting, or may just be solo ,smells, sights, wonderful moments that bring individual recognition of hope.

God has created an environment in his creation where we can escape, before returning to our world taking back with us a concept of hope.
