Series of Podcasts where people spend the time `accusing the brethren`.plenty comments like..
l don`t use expression PRAYER
its too Christian.
Got fed up of the tradition.
It took a while to come to this point. Happy to say ,l am not of this tride,
no longer listen to the views come through.
But at one time, they spoke light into places of challenge, suggesting alternative approach.
Then became a `needs must mission`..
Money became an issue, funding got raised. Something changed.
Like others l have become Constantly embarrassed by the `distaste` shown to former Churches.
Tell us about your inherited faith?
That could be such a positive question to explore growth, development, questions still treasure.
Boy get ready for some really awful experiences.
struggling to understand, why did it take, these people so long to break free?
Do we have such `CULT styles` of denomination in our churches. and communities who were not perfect enough for enabling growth.
Same old expressions, are voiced (like a turntable plays same track).

l was spiritually abused..
no one would listen..
My bad parents is often a theme..
Gave everything to the Churches mission..
Male led abusive led worship..
after , 15 years, 20 years, 30 years..
Really sad, really sad..took my time to respond, asked some people l trust.

Found that lot of mates couldn`t stomach what we listening too.
PURE white middle class privilege, economic well-being sorted, educated mostly university status.
allow expressions like.. Don`t use the words prayer..its too Christian.
not attending Church..like to go for walks instead..thrown out my Bible..
A process called deconstruction—an academic term for the systematic pulling apart of your belief system.
But always found that the questions where encouraged.
In Church based youth work always developing what you believe and its relevance. Even at university it was challenge but Faith grew in what was hostile environment.
Perhaps there more of an issue with emotional literacy, bigger issue with resilience not just on spiritual level.First sign of life sometimes a hurdle ,sense of not having all cognitive pieces. Listening to them. Reading own stories, they appear to have been so pampered from life events.come across as privileged and protected.
..Faiths not like a Bible story.
it is much harder than that..
