The US evangelist, and son of the late Billy Graham announced an eight date tour of the country last year. He was due to visit the ACC in Liverpool on 12th June but the venue says that now won't happen because of the "divisive impact this event is having in our city".

The emergent church tends to find creative ways of coming together, like sitting on sofas, using candles for lighting, painting the walls—strange and different things like that—because it's fresh and new and it gives release to different peoples' expressions, and so on.
There is a movement away from Church as others believed it to be, into less formal more experimental type of experience. This l favour the discussion sharing ideas of faith journey. some say the following...

There remains for me a deep worry when select few are cult based not allowing discussion or dialogue ….witnessed this recently it subtle done quite damaging. When happened to myself it not been till later, When reflect that l become aware what's really happening!
Emerging Church movement is an amorphous sort of loose-knit association of churches that have decided that there is value - there is even virtue - in uncertainty about Scripture. The bottom line in the movement is they believe that we aren’t even supposed to understand precisely what the Bible means.
You see here my own dilemma, accept that, but want some discussion. however many in modern Church are afraid of people like myself who ask. Yes that`s our big sin.
We ask. Why this.. But feel that...why not in this way.. How is that relevant..it may be scripture but is it true today?
