"As a society, we are failing in our duty to do everything we can to protect each other from poverty. . . . . . . .Social security is meant to be a public service we can all rely on in hard times, however that support is being eroded.There is a growing consensus across the political parties that continuing the benefits freeze would be morally unjustifiable."
JRF +Joesph Rowntree Foundation......200,000 had been pushed into poverty by the first three years of the freeze, including around 100,000 children.

Really we have sunk this low and it shows ...it shows in crime and killings....shows in poverty that is visible...it shows in the numbers coming to our charity shop on the coast...demonstrated in attendance at food banks...Hurt in life lived..
