freespeech
“If a politician believes that gay sex is a sin they should be free to express it”, two thirds of Brits (64 per cent) agreed, while just one third (32 per cent) disagreed.
The poll found little variation across age groups with 62 per cent of 18-24 year olds, 67 per cent of 45-54 year olds, and 69 per cent of pensioners in agreement.

POLITICS FAITH AND LUCK

Today this difficult week not got any easier but OK
 and its Fine.
Will rant, also question God, and await a response.
You see `doubt and uncertainty` are integral to all our faith journeys

Now for some politics from another man who claims faith

well it about different views
different feelings
different voting models

l was sat in court this day
not happy awaiting another what l felt was
act of injustice.
This guy came in ( VIA WHEELCHAIR )
Been `fined for carrying a sleeping bag in Durham,
begging`.
Smelt of drink,
looked unclean,
his legs lost from accident or some abuse.

Grace filled me how lucky l am
prayed Lord bless this guy this day
how lucky are you and I

Joey Barton..where now is his forgivness?

Throughout my career I am someone who has made mistakes and owned up to those mistakes and tried to learn from them,” Barton said in his statement. “I intend to do that here. I accept that this is one more mess I got into because of my own behaviour. This episode has brought home to me that, just as I had to face up to the need to get help to deal with alcohol abuse, and with anger, so now I need to get help for my issues with gambling, and I will do so.

so says Joe Barton who has been banned for 18 months by the football association

which leads me to ask where is the forgiveness in our society?
where are the options for redemption
The guy plays football,  surrounded by the betting culture, at every stadium and on many football radio shows including the BBC, Promoted indeed.
Barton stated` we need to examine the Gambling evidence around the environment that is football in 2017`.
That very true.
We put young men, and these days women, when they are still protected by the `children's protection act`into a place where the gambling hold is very evident.
We make it funny cute and exciting,
Then when the fall by the wayside, we punish them.
When they fall to the temptation we punish them.
we often punish people and we live by the-` dont forgive always remember`-
A new parable for the secular age we now live in
we harvest sorrow
we punish people for the mistakes the society pushes them to commit.
where is the forgiveness?
where the growth from mistakes made?
what are the standers?Rules Morels?
Gotta ask hard questions,Further offer help,
Support.
Little forgiveness.
As a society must think less about retribution, more about how to help
or young people will still be making theses mistakes.(OFTEN IS THE YOUNG).
In this area there is a proper role for Joey Barton.
Where now is the forgiveness?

Nothing is about value and always it about profit!
what can we get from you this day?
how much can we take from you at present?
This is the way of the world in 2017

WHEN THE BELL TOLLS

"I didn`t know that today a football player a fit well liked guy would die very suddenly of heart issues.
the last three days have been a problem with my heart feeling very tired and having more pain
recently about 3 weeks ago l was so uncomfortable .  . . l went to bed having tripled up on some of my medication.
Like on previous occasions l spoke to the Lord,
l am prepared for death.
But l want to live a bit longer
Hence l am prepared...yeah there a phone call like to make
A conversation hope to have  . . someone  love to see again!
Chances are that not going to happen, . . .this heart problem leads me to get here best as l am able  ....a few things in perspective
Love one another  . . . seek God , . .think deeper.
Listen to more music, . .who knows what tomorrow will bring?"

a moment of immense sadness

Sometimes on this journey something happens that makes us reflect on Life. Enables us to begin again the moment, reflect on our journey a little bit deeper , start getting our thoughts words and deeds into perspective, this news is one of those moments
RIP Ugo and prayers with all affected by this news.

the Shame of the Maltese islands part . . . well its just ongoing

Chris Packham, the naturalist and broadcaster, has been charged with assault and trespass in Malta after confronting hunters he believed had illegally trapped wild birds.

The BBC Springwatch presenter and naturalist will appear before magistrates on Thursday morning on the island of Gozo after being charged with “attempting to use force” and “pushing against” a Maltese man.

Packham, who is making an independent film about Malta’s spring hunt in which thousands of migrating birds are shot over the Mediterranean islands, had called the police after discovering a large cage of protected wild species, including goldfinch, moorhen, starlings and turtle doves. It is illegal to keep some of these birds in captivity.

According to Packham, he and his producer Ruth Peacey and sound recordist Garry Moore were filming an interview on a public road when two men jumped out of a vehicle and “started screaming and shouting and pushing”.

The police were present and “immediately took the side of the aggressors and manhandled Chris and other members of the team off the site”, according to a statement released via Packham’s agent.

After being detained for more than three hours at a police station, Packham was charged. His production team are believed to have camera footage that may exonerate him.

Those of you following myself, will know that l have posted before about the SHAME of the Maltese islands. it appears that the Maltese Police on these islands are also corrupt. That's not new, in not supporting the law of Europe .
But hey ho.. whats new when it comes to the laws of the European community and how they are interpreted, even reluctantly accepted further followed by those who claim to be in community.
It appears that in the UK we have accept the laws, and have been punished when others choose to do as they have always done.

lt also got a foot in the environment issue, with many rare birds being slaughtered by medieval practices by European members.
Politics, environment, and legal all fused together in a small crop of land in the Mediterranean sea.

In order to restore community,
we need to acknowledge
the role of the spiritual
Our modern world has talked itself out of metaphysics. We don't even have a shared language any more for the soul, the spiritual, the deeper ties that give us our sense of identity and of place

a pilgrim l am

Elmo been a great servant to Hull city with all our
ups and downs as a football team,
firsts saw the guy play at the stadium of light around 6 years ago. May have been different. Sunderland V Bolton premiership.
Was impressed then with his pace and runs down the wing.
Know 'its only a game',but sometimes we need to be entertained , even taken away from all the challenges we are facing.
Soccer does that, so does music.
Been strange non religious unfaithful growing.
Easter
Strange times l am experiencing,
stay with me on this journey it just feels strange at present
Poor and blightednot being miserable just reflecting how it all feels at present!

The TV coverage never been important or really well at my place but it even worse now . . . . .
hey-ho read some books  . . listen to some Podcast . . stay warm and refresh . . Travelled to Hull yesterday {felt long because of the length of the journey and the time in the car}...Pilgrim l am

Still dreaming

Great time walking local at weekend with my son
Little else apart from a reoccurring dream
Asking same question
Getting same reply

Still today l don't wanna get trapped as l hunger and thirst for justice
But another day suggest we not gonna get any
Justice
Should we be more eager to die for what we see as wrong doing
Should we be getting more active less passive about justice
Gotta ask
Gotta know
Still hungry for justice
Still awaiting some answers

focus those inner glasses

"At this moment the deal I have with our chairman is to have only one focus – to remain in Premier League," said Silva. "For me and the players as well this is most important and in the final of the season we will talk. In this moment we are all focused on our goal."
Confirming he had not yet been offered a new deal, he added: "I am happy here and I keep my focus day by day.
"But with the life of a manager you never know what happens tomorrow. What I will do is prepare my players and of course I have deal with the club, I come here with big motivation and to keep the club up at the end of the season because at this moment it is important.
focus it all about focus something we should do at the start of the day focus only on what is ahead
breathe
thank God for the day ahead
focus
too many going through life with a eye on tomorrows riches not enough focus on this day
who have you helped today
what plans do you have to enable others to improve tomorrow

sorry is that not in your focus?

WHAT ABOUT YOU ....YOURSELF?

Here is one of my crazy idea before you criticise the poor living in poverty
live that life
live it not for a week and make a documentary
live it
breathe it
feel it
no income
no food
no heating
little hope

then fight fight for the position to be improved
fight and make it a fight you won`t walk away from

no that sounds like to much hard work further effort needed
that would impact your life
your breathe
your health
your mental stability
your hands...mind...hands that work
that too much effort
Stay where you are
it a whole lot easier

Growth does not reside in a
place called Comfortable

USE OF BOMBS AND GOD

TODAY
LIKE SO MANY TIMES BEFORE
THEY RESORT TO BOMBINGS

SEVERAL TIMES THE` GOD` WORD
 USED BY A PRESIDENT
SPEAKING TO THE WORLD FROM AMERICA

I know Jesus is on that mainline
Tell Him what you want
Jesus is on that mainline
Tell Him what you want
Jesus is on that mainline
Tell Him what you want
Call Him up and tell Him what you want

Well, the line ain't never busy
Tell Him what you want
Wo, that line ain't never busy
Tell Him what you want
Well, the line ain't never busy
Tell Him what you want
Keep on calling Him up
And tell Him what you want

Well, if you want His kingdom
Tell Him what you want
If you want His kingdom
Tell Him what you want
If want His kingdom
Tell Him what you want
Call Him up, call Him up, call Him up, call Him up
You can call Him up and tell Him what you want

Well, if you're sick and want to get well
Tell Him what you want
Well, if you're sick and you want to get well
Tell Him what you want
If you're sick and you want to get well
Tell Him what you want
Call Him up and tell Him what you want

oh pray do tell?

So tell me is there enough evidence to commit you
on the crime of following this man?
Have you listened to his teachings?
Did you heart feel on fire when you heard about his example?
Have your actions been like one
who accepts his truth as your own?

ARE WE STAYING UP

Hull City boss Marco Silva has been keen to stress,Hull City have not achieved anything yet,
from watching Match of the Day on TV this morning at least it is now in hull city players own hands.
For the first time since October, My beloved Hull City sit outside of the Premier League's relegation zone.
watching the game which was so thrilling and entertaining
Well `boy` did the players haul themselves out of the dogfight in style.

sometimes you just need a tonic and bit of a pick me up.
this was what we all needed we are the city of culture 2017 it would be sad if we got relegated
also the city needs the economic well being associated with that place

its good
plus many factors in life are not very good at present
So let enjoy this blog

Towards the SON

Take Time to share and talk with loved ones
Spend some time with unloved.
Time to also notice those going through LIFE unseen

Been a very good period for myself around communication,
many generous with time and efforts.
Humbled by a `Russian gent`, who sat believing understood his words
But his sharing has he took me through his images on his laptop was wonderful experience.
Meeting friends making new ones,
Reequateing self with old contacts,
Feels correct,
Just miss yesterday when we talked and walked together a lot more.

Did l get lost and move away?
Was it just the motion of mission
need to be active
Role l had to act re the vision
that need to be shared.
Something in me has always kept me moving around.
Not in a getting away from issue way,
But more a walking towards a sunset way
Either way we journey on,
Dealing with authority. A lot the last few days
Exhausting as they are labelling any who oppose them as troublemakers.
It difficult to challenge unfair and biased system but challenge we will.
Onwards
Life is a journey towards the sunset.

Broke my fish diet but hey ho tomorrow's a god day to diet.

Injustice in the UK

We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now.
The injustices in modern UK Society

Sanctions against the poor
Shaming the vulnerable
Unableing towards the disabled
Hate in communities
Lack of social mobility

Life should not be this tough
Unnoticed hurt and neglected

Growing menace against those who oppose the politics of disunity
Rapping up dislike of lower classes and those needing benefit

It unjust system in the UK

retreat

Presently the key turned in the door. I passed inside.
 The doo
r closed quietly behind me.
I was out of the world.
“I looked at the rolling country, and at the pale ribbon of road in front of us, stretching out as grey as lead in the light of the moon. Then suddenly I saw a steeple that shone like silver in the moonlight, growing into sight from behind a rounded knoll. The tires sang on the empty road, and, breathless, I looked at the monastery that was revealed before me as we came over the rise. At the end of an avenue of trees was a big rectangular block of buildings, all dark, with a church crowned by a tower and a steeple and a cross: and the steeple was as bright as platinum and the whole place was as quiet as midnight and lost in the all-absorbing silence and solitude of the fields. Behind the monastery was a dark curtain of woods, and over to the west was a wooded valley, and beyond that a rampart of wooded hills, a barrier and a defence against the world.

And over all the valley smiled the mild gentle Easter moon, the full moon in her kindness, loving this silent place.
At the end of the avenue, in the shadows under the trees, I could make out the lowering arch of the gate, and the words: ‘Pax Intrantibus.’
The driver of the car did not go to the bell rope by the heavy wooden door. Instead he went over and scratched on one of the windows and called, in a low voice:
‘Brother! Brother!’
I could hear someone stirring inside. Presently the key turned in the door. I passed inside. The door closed quietly behind me. I was out of the world.”

It not . . .only words......

  JOKE
Someone asked me yesterday
"Are you OK flying,"?
I replied (but don't think they got it)
" not really l have to use plane like everyone else these days,
My Cape's in the wash."

Sometimes we disagree in life not just about what is and is not funny, But deeper stuff that OK
Life is about communicating and words are formed so we can agree further or disagree.
Sometimes you wait for that call
Or that meeting,
Sometimes reminded of a person and a place in past
words that where needed to be said or perhaps the wrong one was spoken.
That is life we can't undo everything,
All we can do is guard this day these moments,
Each day bring chance to communicate.
That a real blessing
What do you need to say today, what do you need to hear

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
