Maybe we are not so Godless after all.

On Monday night, following the incident involving Ryan Mason at the Hull City V Chelsea match. 

Players family released this statement  "overwhelmed" by support from fans of Hull city and other teams "incredibly difficult time".

THE STATEMENT

 "We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and gratitude for the overwhelming support shown to Ryan during what has been an extremely traumatic 24 hours," the family statement read.

"The well wishes and support that we've received as a family from such a large number of players, managers, clubs, fans and everyone involved in football - as well as even from people outside of the sport - has helped to give Ryan and all of the family great strength during this incredibly difficult time.

"We would also like to send a special thank you to the superb medical teams at Hull City, Chelsea, and St Mary's Hospital.

"The manner in which the situation was handled and dealt with was impeccable and we are incredibly grateful for everything that they have done and continue to do".

Further also confirmed in a statement released by Hull City, 

Ryan is in a stable condition and will be continually monitored over the coming days.

God bring rest recovery and complete healing

At the time of the injury many offered prayers and offered good wishes and support for his recovery and good health.
It only a simple thing but in a secular world often when chocs occurs the outpouring is really interesting.
Very positive to witness.
Why?
When? 
If we are such a Godless society, why do so many rise up and offer prayers and heartfelt responses, because (after all ),  we are all made in the image of God.
We are spiritual beings who are best human when we think and desire to serve others.
