One day l `ll climb again,

privileged
this was only last October , few years ago last week some of us chatted in the street, laughed at climbing roseberry topping ..l am not well enough to climb at present. Miss the fun of being with the youths, children, plus (Jackie and Chris) the staff who worked in the programme. l often pray that the activities will lead them all into fullness of life. For  me it was Church. A real Godsense of what we are doing, being kingdom work.
Some of those in this flick spent nearly 5 years of their life in our project.

you're cooler than me

If I could write you a song to make you fall in love
I would already have you up under my arm I used up all of my tricks,
I hope that you like this But you probably won't,
you think you're cooler than me
You got designer shades just to hide your face
and You wear them around like you're cooler than me
And you never say "Hey" or remember my name
And it's probably 'cause you think you're cooler than me
You got your high brow shoes on your feet
And you wear them around like it ain't it
But you don't know the way that you look
When your steps make that much noise
Shh, I got you all figured out
You need every one's eyes
just to feel seen Behind your make up nobody knows who you even are
Who do you think that you are?
If I could write you a song to make you fall in love
I would already have you up under my arm I used up all of my tricks,
I hope that you like this But you probably won't,
you think you're cooler than me
You got designer shades just to hide your face
and You wear them around like you're cooler than me
And you never say "Hey" or remember my name
And it's probably 'cause you think you're cooler than me

 you're cooler than me
you're cooler than me
you're cooler than me

ever changing as they come and go

see the clouds adrift so far below
ever changing as they come and go
The clouds in the evening are so colourful as the sun goes down in the south, and l can just see the quarter moon rising over the north sea.
Did a good piece of youth type work last Saturday way up north
the pass the ball game with the biscuit tin tagged on.
You throw loads of balls around a group in the same order, but we interjected the biscuit tin where you pause, pick a question out of the biscuit tin, and either answer or pass the question onto someone who is holding also a ball.
Couple of good questions attempted like;-
  • what question would you ask of God?
  • tells us a story about Delmore!
  • if you was a punk rocker with flowers in your hair what would you sound like
  • you have the choice to take everyone in this group to the cinema what are we going to see?

few happenings september 12

   very true sometimes of myself

At present working on a youth presentation for Saturday more further up north but after the tunnel it not so far got to do a Ice breaker with a group of 15 young people between the ages of 5- to - 18. plus other stuff        Also tonite its a steering group meeting for F.I.C . . .  FAITH IN OUR COMMUNITY'S exploring a free/cheap meal for the vulnerable.

l am really into Inspector Salvo Montalbano (Italian: Commissario Salvo Montalbano) is a fictional character created by Italian writer  Andrea cammillie in a series of novels and short stories.
The fractious detective's character and manner encapsulate much of Sicilian mythology and astute detective work. The original books are written in a mixture of italian and  Sicilianized Italian. the programme is on BBC 3 TV most Saturdays..l tend not to watch TV but sit down and enjoy selected viewing

cup of Bovril

l sat in a cafe yesterday with a friend and l had cup of Bovril and 2 dry crackers.
Bovril can be made into a drink by diluting with hot water, or less commonly with milk.[1] It can also be used as a flavouring for soups, stews or porridge, or spread on bread, especially toast, rather like Marmite LOVED IT

2003 l can remember walking around smithy bridge with the dog Sammyand love of my life on boxing day morning it was freezing
Cup of tea 4 me,toast and Bovril for F.A.
loved that also

l am struggling with energy

l am struggling with energy Levels and bit of awareness of pain as opposed to pain.
Very soon l am going into hospital for heart by pass, expect to be quiet for a while and will post on here some contact details.
I am reminded that we are not islands nor do those of Christian faith exist outside of our family with other Believers, this had been true for me.
One more comfortable piece of work to achieve then l must rest.

TAKE CARE OF YOU
we sometimes forget this guideline
TAKE CARE OF YOU
it allowed ..have a walk a talk with Jesus..read a mag...stop and listen to your music..walk in sand..build a sand castle
TAKE CARE OF YOU

powerlessness is over rated.

The birds have been nesting in my hair I am truthfully a bit frightened about the Heart operation plus the effect on my self and any personal development sometimes do you not just wish one could be in the future knowing all about the present!
I am waking up sometimes concerned about what going to be done to myself the pain discomfort.
I am in, also further, about to go much deeper into uncomfortable. Powerlessness is over rated.

As long as one heart still holds true

took a bit of Patience worth it?

recent early morning view
This heart still believes
The love and mercy still exist.
While all the hatreds rage and so many say
That love is all but pointless in madness such as this
It's like trying to stop a fire
With the moisture from a kiss.

And I hear them saying you'll never change things
and no matter what you do it's still the same thing
But it's not the world that I am changing
I do this so this world will know that it will not change me.

As long as one heart still holds on
Then hope is never really gone.

prima donnas

After a sporting summer of relentless good news, the sports press sunk their teeth into England after a lethargic draw with Ukraine
l watched the second half in full this morning at 6 it did not come across as bad
Just 24 hours after Andy Murray had showed us what guts and glory is all about, our pampered Premier League  prima donnas produced the sort of performance that we really hoped had been consigned to the dustbin of the past. Then, again, you can always rely on them
it was a very young England team and the referee showed himself to be a bit of a nuisance but hey it not that important
So it was a shock to the system to see one side of Wembley’s upper tier totally empty here - a sombre swathe of vacant red seats. The atmosphere was flat and uncertain. Until the roar of relief that greeted Frank Lampard’s precious equaliser

GIANT MEN EATING FROG

GIANT MEN  EATING  FROG

Got really low and quietly after a wait took this shot l had in mind for it to look giant like
Hope no one observing this photo gets too frightened

DO I HAVE TO CHANGE
 MY PASSPORT PHOTO

This is how l feel in body at present bruised all over, and marks from needles, Strangethings in my body.
my pain threshold is low..so if l am being a coward sorry..there are people a lot worse of then me but l know it going to get tougher

"To live like you were dyin'."

With a lot of life before me,
Now a moment come that has stopped me on a dime.
I will spend most of the next days,
Looking at the x-rays,
then some talking 'bout the options
suppose talkin’ ‘bout sweet time.
That this might really be the real end?
This how it hit you when you get strange kind of news
now is the time to love deeper
 I will speak sweeter,
do l need to offer forgiveness I'd may be denying.
Everyday, hope l use the chance,
To live like l were dyin
keep on being the friend a friend would like to have.
I today have found that, all of a sudden going walking,
Taking time to listen
Supping a cuppa with friends
Very much more,is not such an imposition,
Keep being true to following the Good Book,
But I must also take good . . long . . hard look,
what I'd do if I had more time on my hands
DANCE like no one`s watching!

gone 4 a quiet period...back later

In the fragments of the songs
Carried down the wind from some radio
In the murmuring of the city in the distance

Yeah, and I was much younger then
And I must have thought that I would know
If things were going to end
And the heavens were rolling
Like a wheel on a track
And our sky was unfolding
And it'll never fold back
Sky blue and black
And I'd have fought the world for you
If I thought that you wanted me to
Or put aside what was true or untrue
If I'd known that's what you needed
What you needed me to do
But the moment has passed by me now
To have put away my pride
And just come through for you somehow
If you ever need holding
Call my name, I'll be there
If you ever need holding
And no holding back, I'll see you through
You're the color of the sky
Reflected in each store-front window pane
You're the whispering and the sighing
Of my tires in the rain

On a load of new tablets

10 Tablets today

So today l used to comment on a website about my favorite footie club
but was getting trolled by some people
a form of bullying
decided that was enough
do not need this
l withdrew and no longer will comment
this is me eating my own advice
often in the youth club Girls will say this is hurting me look what they are saying . . .
l offer other advice and support
BUT l also say do not log on
l understand the distress
this is very small in comparison

but the same point applies to me

Anyway walking thru this feild then

So l stopped  . . waited...watched...
this bull stood there on a field with the yellow signs saying public footpath
later bumped into Jamie G and Budgie with their 3 dogs and they had gone the long way round..
l just went back

l believe in you lord

“Why do you believe in God?” Just a simple question. But my mum panicked. “Bob,” she said in a tone that I knew meant, “Shut up.” Why was that a bad thing to ask? If there was a God and my faith was strong it didn’t matter what people said.
Oh…hang on. There is no God. He knows it, and she knows it deep down. It was as simple as that. I started thinking about it and asking more questions, and within an hour, I was an atheist.
a statement from Ricky Gervies one of my the funny people who make me laugh and ponder anew
“Why do you believe in God?” Just a simple question.
l believe in God and he believes in me l get wrong and mess up but like you l discover grace
l believe in GOD because it makes more sense then not!
a statement from Kevin Waller a not so funny person who can me others laugh and ponder anew

Church unsettled me

Sunday after Church l write this
it may just be the awkward opinionated me shining thru
but often feel ..think ....and reflect this to myself
today l choose to share this...

Church unsettles me a lot
l am not an Anglican.
Baptist.
Came to faith as teenager More then 25 years ago.
when l listen to what passed as worship today it worries me. The sermon was uninspiring and syrup for the masses.
Prayers were Formic.
09.15 in the morning, we came left and home for 10.30
some parents brought there children to be Baptised (as the rector? stated).
They came forward near the end of the service.
Muttered a few words then after a prayer went back to there places
NOW
Is this me. l do not feel the parents will ever attempt to reflect on today
Nor do l imagine,
but pray for them to know Jesus and God
But l do not imagine that these parents will make any real effort to encourage the child to,
Examine.
Explore.
Support.
Reflect.
Ponder.
On the teaching, example or words of Jesus!
Also often come away from this place and feel `wasted my time`.
Often missed opportunities for the truth to be presented . . . .

A few early morning reflections..except not that early nor deep...09.30 1st Sept 2012

here an Artist that l find very comfortable to look at

some real good coastal views and the technic of couler

A New Beginning

by Jackie Stonehouse
Monday 17 September – Saturday 6 October
Jackie's work is strong in composition and confident in the use of colour. Her approaches are as varied as her subjects, from landscapes to still life’s, abstracts to figure drawing. She uses a variety of materials and techniques, each approach a fresh response to the materials and the subject.
on the transfer market
Hull City boss Steve Bruce will have new signings Ahmed Elmohamady and Stephen Quinn at his disposal as he looks to sign off on a high before the international break.
The midfielders.... (defender and striker in my view) ...arrived from Sunderland and Sheffield United respectively this week and will be in contention for a debut after training with their new team-mates yesterday.
Saw Ahmed when he played against Bolton last April for the Black cats as Sunderland are known
he was tight and comfortable playing the ball away from defence...l valued his commitment but, O `Niel the SAFC manger did not.

What l feel we need is more honest, open discussion.
We need to ask questions carefully, reflect on the answer`s
When we do, I think it’s always helpful.
We need to consider the  Jesus view as something that can be trusted.
We need to remember that the promise of God cannot be broken...the tide
comes in everyday...season change...moon shines .....friends remain...grass grows...
                            Hull city often lose..LOL

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
