sound of the sea.

The dark miserable nites are here.
Rain nearly two days in a row
makes me feel miserable
manged to cook steak and veg for dinner
tapioca pudding
WOW

have been unable to get out for my long sabbatical walks
l listened to the sea against the beach pebbles for 20 minutes in the dark on Friday evening

it was just one incredible sound
so loud and felt near
just this crashing and rolling back
before tide returned the sound

l felt small

but lucky

also a bit fearful
Awe of God

who commands the sea tide and time.

Try to express grace if offered an opportunity

Weather warnings about Arctic blast, we get them every time in this period of the season. So wrap up well, on a cold November day in Autumn...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
