Churches also desperate for engagement with Young people so why don`t they resource outreach to this group.
how can Churches invest financially and institutionally in reaching young people,
how different does the infrastructure need to change?
Will we commit to asking Questions raised.?
Firstly of individual Church groups, Networks they do or do not exist among.
Generally the Church as `body of followers of Jesus`.
Also must engage better with committed, very damaged workforce.
Under resourced,alarmingly mistreated by Church pastoral ,
spiritually and economically.
Why has youth and children’s ministry become so lost,neglected?
Has present low impact,overall smaller gatherings of `people` of Christian faith, resulted in `Followers of Jesus` being more self examining, less outward looking.
Do we need to better encourage `working together` to help resource youth and community work. The churches in rural areas , often unknown work that goes on in them is a big concern.
l am guilty of exploring and giving attention to provision highlighted from inner-cities and large towns.
Lot of Rural work is from aged, uneducated,(In YCW ) white,middle class.
Lack of key ethics about YCW, Empowerment,Participatory Holistic.
Ethics never presented to users groups.
Written before about how these are Key Biblical principals, really should not be ethical issue. Misunderstanding is threatening to those delivering.
We have become so unconcerned about youth work in general, that the life style and comfort of the work force further been ignored.
Resulting in apathy towards the role ,nature and purpose of youth work.
After some discussion further some prodding, here my starting gambit.
I am praying and creating meetings to properly examine and plot a way forward.
