Current cost of living crisis that threatens to plunge millions more people into poverty is going to have far longer-term impacts than a summer of discontent, a few months of belt-tightening or watching what we all spend at the supermarket.
Really excellent article from A voice of experience, pointing out long term affects, also issue for those been experiencing poverty for decades.
life is tough..it need not be so!
Mental health is another factor that increased ,emotional literacy, ability to chat,talk,communicate,enable others to understand, allow help, support streams been cut away.

worse than ever l felt we would witness.Wasted life combated the issues.
Never imagined this place we are presently existing, would be allowed in a just society.
One that has established ethics, moral compass, guidelines for treating looking after Vulnerable.
people not handling anxiety well at all, fears are growing, struggles feeling larger.
drugs becoming more solution.. .Society put its head in the sand.
When emotional literacy is not present, people become isolated, sit alone,detached,nowhere to go, overthinking issue becomes out of context.
leads to threats, acts of violence.
Then exploitation occurs, more disharmony,more serious health concerns.
As a young person, experienced poverty as did many around myself.
when got to work like very many, we were on Apprenticeship wage.
Never got on Home owners ladder.
Moved into a profession,gained degree,qualified in high capacity. Became aware of poverty, others not getting by, released it was who l was.where l cam from, what l had achieved.
it got worse..it gets worse..
War in Europe
Economy, Low wages,gig style employment.
Fuel crisis so effects social cohesion..how we connect with each other.
We get told to watch the Dolphins, track nature, breathe, be still..
but issues not going away.
Perhaps we need a`not so quiet`revolution .
Faith cannot grow when issues are not identified, we need a reboot in out evangelism.
One that drags others `kicking and screaming`
into a more justice based, mercy overloaded, concerning revolution.
