Poverty leaves scars for life –Fact

Poverty leaves scars for life – I’m still scared of strangers at the door and bills through the letterbox

Jack Monroe `campaigner for equality and poverty`.

Current cost of living crisis that threatens to plunge millions more people into poverty is going to have far longer-term impacts than a summer of discontent, a few months of belt-tightening or watching what we all spend at the supermarket.

Really excellent article from A voice of experience, pointing out long term affects, also issue for those been experiencing poverty for decades.

life is tough..it need not be so!

Mental health is another factor that increased ,emotional literacy, ability to chat, talk, communicate, enable others to understand, allow help, support streams been cut away.

worse

worse

worse than ever l felt we would witness.Wasted life combated the issues.

Try sitting in nature a park, and watch.

Never imagined this place we are presently existing, would be allowed in a just society.

One that has established ethics, moral compass, guidelines for treating looking after Vulnerable.

people not handling anxiety well at all, fears are growing, struggles feeling larger.

drugs becoming more solution.. .Society put its head in the sand.

When emotional literacy is not present, people become isolated, sit alone, detached, nowhere to go, overthinking issue becomes out of context.

leads to threats, acts of violence.

Then exploitation occurs, more disharmony, more serious health concerns.

As a young person, experienced poverty as did many around myself.

when got to work like very many, we were on Apprenticeship wage.

Never got on Home owners ladder.

Moved into a profession, gained degree, qualified in high capacity. Became aware of poverty, others not getting by, released it was who l was.where l cam from, what l had achieved.

it got worse..it gets worse..

Brings us up to 2022

War in Europe

Economy, Low wages,gig style employment.

Fuel crisis so effects social cohesion..how we connect with each other.

We get told to watch the Dolphins, track nature, breathe, be still..

but issues not going away.

Perhaps we need a`not so quiet`revolution .

Faith cannot grow when issues are not identified, we need a reboot in out evangelism.

One that drags others `kicking and screaming`

into a more justice based, mercy overloaded, concerning revolution.

Some people just don't        know how to be Kind.         Age doesn't season them,       time does not mellow Them.  Try ...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
