The moon tonight is closer to us
than it will be
for the rest of the year,
grace willing, the year

A short while ago streams flowed , l paddled, took ride to sandy shores walked till needed to turn around looking for cafe to have a cuppa.
Worried about other stuff. . . not ill son.
Walked along hedges and drove grassy country lanes exploring wildlife.
Matty was getting more ill but enjoyed drives,
it came pretty quick being unhealthy.
Winter feels slow, cold and chilly . . he is safer in warmth of Hospital bed... but like loves l lost l feel cold in memories that l cannot do anything.
Another friend lost a grandson, a neighbour has passed over.
Words are not enough.
Words really do not count.
Prayers are hard to form.
l talked with him, he has to be brave..empathy l can share, you see l understand this issue,shared the pain uncertainty, isolation , being alone.
we all got some empathy with another about `being in a crisis`.
We have all got . . ` a bit or better . .understanding . .all of us.
Finished reading this great novel, which has a pivotal scene depicting an act of sexual assault that happens against Hassan, Amir's friend, Amir fails to prevent, leads to the end of their friendship.
