Me watching TV one way.

Al Jazeera's Awad Joumaa follows a cast of characters - Jewish, Christian and Muslim - that call Jerusalem home. A Muslim scholar; a Christian Palestinian researcher; a former Israeli soldier and former Zionist turned professor; a self-described Zionist settler; a peace activist; an actress and her artist son; and a father, whose son is under home detention, fighting to hold on to his house in the Old City

Watched this programme and found it educational and rewarding.
Hard to accept but we have our own`little Zionist` in East Riding of Yorkshire.
They spout out hatred in at least two villages, perhaps one town.
One time was meeting with them in what was to become my last meeting with these hateful misguided people.
Agreed would `pray for Israel `,if we could pray for Palestine also...appears acceptable...
Met with hatred do not witness often, thankful not witnessed it very much in my life.
"I will never pray for those people"....But this came from someone who several Churches felt was spouting dislike and non Christian message
you see the real issue is we are intolerant in much of the Church.
There is some propaganda followed by this group which insults my intelligence,(not hard l know).A picture ,narrative is voiced about attacks on Jewish settlements, further stone throwing, also image reflected of anti Semitic government in UK .
found little room for discussion or value i others views.
In my ideal world we sit, watch, then discuss the issues, in the above TV show.
Me watching TV one way.
The Zionist watching TV another way.

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
