new week same ole issues

It was just before Christmas that Jackson Irvine wondered what was preventing my home town team HCFC  from making that bold leap into the Championship’s top six. We have consistently flirted with the play-off places, even as HDM put it Sexually ` made eyes at those they aim to chase down, but never quite found the means to clamber on in.`
OK l HEAR WHAT YOU SAYING GONNA GET A HAIRCUT
“When you’ve never quite made it you wonder ‘Can we quite crack it?’” Irvine, mainstay  City’s midfield. “There’s no reason why we can’t break in.  . . .we just need to change our belief levels.”

The longer the season goes without City reaching the top six, though, the easier that will be said than done.
That interesting comments, in relation to a football game ,the players talking about need to change belief system. Suppose also that about emotional literacy and believing confidence in own abilities.like the way that whole of life is this journey.
Was, well kinda was.Church yesterday among the `Cult followers who have same radio station. Same self centred worship songs, performed in same you-tube Karaoke style. All the belief is about self,Self own development faith. No thoughts, attention, or effort, to world nor the community....it all about own growth further own place in heaven.
Good news they are all older then me,plus ineffective in reaching out.
The `Kingdom` is not concept they can get heads around.
Often blind them with old trick of theologians...`where in the Bible does it say`...

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
