In the end you can judge how civilised any society is by the level of care that affords to imost vulnerable members; how civilised individual is by the care they extend to the person from whom they believe has nothing to gain.

We've failed that test of being a fair society , a good while ago....we are a broken, harsh, cruel, society. Unjust in so many ways, often we lack mercy towards others. Old fashioned words is oppressive
Because, we feel uncomfortable ,that description applies to much more eastern cultures where people have no water ,resources are limited.
We are western educated, so all that stuff does not apply.
We hear nothing from top about those who are struggling at the bottom. This is where my spirit wonders on its travels.

In Hull my home town there is frequently story's local paper.
Even among those attending social events, issues crime, drugs, and sex trade.
open subjects discussed in-depth, (Not to be confused with understanding).

Sadly this more then gossip...as poverty became ` just the way things are`
other stuff became very much the normal way of life.

Police like celebrity, just do not see them. Most we witness, when unable to get grip around the issues many are facing.
Crime Became `Way Of Life`, Further Makes Me Feel Strange , yes l know Old to mention this but punishment is too light. Some People know about `Love island and sex`, but cannot form a relationship. `Net-flicks and pay to view` is on the agenda, but same people cannot steward the limited resources they posses.

Life in slums of UK. be they rural community's of north east coast, Hornsea Bridlington, Withernsea, Easington, South Shields, centres like Sunderland ,Newcastle and Hull ,to name a few.
Poverty is companion to many, lack of food, poor education, limited health care, benefit cuts, sanctions, other stuff .
"Credit checks” have become the modern equivalent of “no dogs, no blacks, no Irish”, designed to exclude certain groups .

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
