Then close your eyes

l have this, sure you also do "this urgent need to communicate" ,hear others saying also the "still more urgent need not to be found."That something not holding understanding of, Glad about it shows still working some stuff out.

`First you close your eyes to the pictures
Then you close your eyes to the memory
Then close your eyes to the facts
Then you’ll close your eyes to the entire context`

Relative poverty is this situation where many not being seen,
nor are there stories being listened to, 1-25 people live in UK in destitution .
7 million sanctions be used by this Government since 2010.
Welfare reform act cut all benefits to all people
3000 people who removed from ESA have died
food bank usage increased
National debate revolves around scroungers, millionaire benefit cheats
while the real story goes untold
Not asked
No discussion
Nothing changed
My own diagnosis is that we moved to a Hedonistic culture where we care little for others, be they ill, poor, aged, vulnerable. result is clear in broken society.
But the worse for myself is the place of the Church, who more then any other group are called to speak up.

lack of culture and up bringing

'Whenever we set out to dream our dreams ,to build our temples, we must be honest enough to recognise this.
Where you come from ,that going to limit such ideals’

In east riding library the noise from kidz whose excluded, so we have to put up with him doing his homework, with tutor.WHILE he listens to Friday night live...

Also the so called librarians are talking loud, giggling loud, about `how boyfriend made it home drunk last evening`....
Like we want to know This?

WE SUNK THIS LOW..

We are living at moment deep shame, Broken society we are among, should move us
explore how we are Not addressing child poverty, been issue worked in since 1989 green paper.
Stopped increased benefits for poor, had 5 year block on any level of rise, not even most meager rate of inflation like.
3000 deaths related to disabled people coming of (taken from), ESA ,and other disable benefits.
Lack care for aged, poor, those who are i'll, or in poor health.
Support missed in our delivery to vulnerable,
Actions that Will shame future Historians.
Some debate took part in yesterday the general excuse is we all are having to accept cuts.
WOW
That ole chestnut . . .CUTS...surprised so many swallowed that one.

`just for me, just for others, true Justice`.

life  WHERE DID IT GO
12 years ago we played air guitar while visited hull
does it mean
,`we travel towards old age, we just look back..`
Hope should be something hold
Not for myself but for others
so is looking back the way
 `view the future`
by that mean like`way things should be
strive .want better for others`.
Whole process is not wanting something for myself but wanting justice.
Better opportunity for them..the young...
not myself, wish for little..
But it appears even that beyond most of us these days
who l am ...well not someone who hold or lives among those who hold influence.
How can hope come about .if we are simply where we started.

`There’s tension at the heart of human nature. whenever we set out to dream our dreams ,to build our temples, we must be honest enough to recognise it.’

Part of the tension for myself is we never go forward..so often  lived ,worked, built community around been forgotten, feels like our best efforts amount to little..while others often pretty wicked go on, buy houses drive better cars..have more holidays and income..yet read a simple Bible passage told to be grateful.
twitter feeds say we must strive
but tension highest for myself is this? why do the rich get better!
while poorest still get worse deal ,even in climate change debate it middle class high earners who buy organic food..protest on bikes..eat out in cafes..go home to comfortable.

while we reside in a place called uncomfortable..where they dare to say is growth..
It not true
tension is we know this..
so Biblical platitudes
Middle class values around grace ,
compassion,
Such Values are not what called for.
`just for me, just for others, true Justice`.

see another view

It’s usually an upper-middle-class elite, living in the metropolitan centre, that shops for organic and GMO-free food items from fancy stores. That’s fine, nobody really has an issue with people paying more for green carton packaging and food with no added health benefits. What is concerning, however, is that, increasingly, the same people want to impose their habits on those who don’t believe in it and those who can’t afford it.

That serious issue for many these days
people imposing belief system on others, the exact problem many accused Christians of trying to achieve not so long ago
fortunately l am well capable holding serious debate about faith l possess.Glad really that the free speaking rhetoric is being seen for tight fisted regulations against freedom.
But what saddens me most about these debates whether it be the wearing of the Nigib, politics,French street battles, there is little balance.
These are huge subjects yet not presented very well, nor researched properly journalism is pretty poor as well.
Often it appears to me that most discussion could come from a google exploration, not from the beautiful deep minds we hold
Purpose of debate is for us to understand each other better
To see another view
To live in a world alongside each other where differences are recognised.
But unbalance is holding court, this is `emotional literacy` for the currant world.
HERE IS ONE EXAMPLE
don`t agree with much of what any these people say...but OK with them holding another view to mine.
It fine...it OK just allow me to do several things
1- Not agree
2- Agree
3- Not at all be bothered or care or wish to be involved

I listen often to podcasts
They are wonderful, find myself learning another view, hear people discussing, later l either look further, or l let it slip away. That brings me balance in my own emotional literacy.
think l grow and develop better
Accept that my views can alter
also enforce sometimes stuff l am reconstructing about.

blues they still here

Whoever becomes our next Prime Minister has to reconnect with low-income voters. Key to this will be understanding people's hopes, fears and expectations post-Brexit.

  • Fat chance Rather fat cat chance
    10:55 am
·its sickening it really is this is a measure of how low we sunk yes people food banks, child poverty, people are isolated, not free...social mobility as understand this has several components. How people can up sticks and travel for work..that alone is not easy rented home`s is expensive, support does not exist....the second element relates as simple me understands this to how people connect with friends, family, community in wider sense..also feel it affects how people engage with stuff that might not be within normal focus..maybe at its lowest travel taken to Cafe by lonely person who just wants to hear another voice..teenager wanting to connect with friends who they do not live close too. that social poverty...

    trees as a blessing

    if trees could talk
well what a tale they would tell
    who sat there
    who sat with whom
    sheltered
    snogging
    thoughts they could read

Yeah know its only a tree ...but it like the blessings we can not always recognise...they are beautiful...
    Like you are

When God gets back from his break would someone let me know..

The past is always with us.
    Where we come from,
    what we go through,

    how we go through it;

Why many families being drove apart!

We became a society that manifests such situations daily?

             The food banks

             Meal clinics

Health issues . . .EMOTIONAL LITERACY

            Bullying

            Lack of protest

Difference between the haves and those without

              larger gaps in prosperity

             pain

              Hunger

             Sadness

    Poor reporting

Universal Credit is one system to replace six benefits: Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Jobseeker's Allowance, Income Support, Employment Support Allowance and Housing Benefit.
Tory minister Iain Duncan Smith launched it in 2013 to "make work pay", by ensuring your benefits taper away slowly as you earn more salary, rather than vanishing it in one go.
Universal Credit has oozed controversy and debate across the UK and not everyone is a fan of the new six-in-one benefit.
However, two passionate staff at Hull Jobcentre are adamant that Universal Credit is convincing people into the world of work and helping to put the city on the map.
Debbie, a work coach team leader, and June, a customer service manager, have over 60 years of combined experience working for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Seldom have l been more offended, then this white wash of the `Gestapo` dealings offered by the Authority delivering these benefit culls.
Poor journalism, but it to be expected by Hull daily mail.
the two cretins talking to the paper are so proud they do not use full names
nor does the reporter either ask any questions nor does the paper allow any customer access to feed back their own views.
this is gutter reporting at its best
the Hull daily mail must be proud
Only good news is that newspaper sales are long ago declining
Future of this newspaper days are near the end indeed.

then comes this moment . .

Sometimes like even often in week,

Reflect back to time few years only when l was working further up north.

    Often using ferry.

    Long driving sessions

    Meeting lots of people.

Walking cliff tops and the denes

    Confident of future

Then came these long couple of years, Money worries,
trouble illness uncertainty, and poor health.
    Doubts
    Questions
    Faith
    Isolation
    Deconstructing
    Career stalls
    Lack of direction
    Loss of friendships
    Death of parents
    Getting slower
    Feeling misunderstood

    The life less traveled

things that make you different what you really go through.

It don't matter that some fool say he different 'cause the things that make you different is what you really do,
     what you really go through.

    so wrestle with stuff
been issue reflecting on this week
    unanswered prayer
    which is not about disbelief
but struggle to accept what values substitute as Gods will
like be happy for what you have
well does my wanting more result in a process of myself appearing spiritually weak

as the `stiff little fingers ` once sang `that the way it has to be for the likes of you and me`..
but why is it a spiritual value to be accepting worse situation
why is it a spiritual value
to actual degrade yourself and another..

Bruce Springsteen got a new album out at present the critics are toasting this.
how ever feel it very samey to the last few outings
    especially.. magic..
    and working on a dream
Marlboro man image, of being a `tough western loner `
    just appears not relevant
     . . .well not relevant to 2019
Good stuff been done and in a better way

The rising very prophetic was perhaps best of the new millennium
Words, music, and atmospheric from the album
    Bringing lyrical healing,recognizing new danger
quietly arresting` terror recalled by 9/11`
    addressing stuff around economics.
    Further touching on `redemption`and `rebirth`
    issues not recently visited.

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
    Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
    The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
    They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
