if we are called to be the light....why aren`t we shining?

My home team Hull City won 2-1 over Millwall,
However falling attendances which have slumped to new low after last night, only  attracted 10,191 supporters.

In my home town it gets hard in lots of area`s, employment, crime, wage structures poverty, social mobility...... all pretty tough stuff to battle through each day.
There is a spiritual poverty evident in many ways, Hull my city, we don`t do faith.
Churches lowest in attendance
Witness little, if any evidence, of the Christian faith,
No visible witness being lived out.
Where is this journey taking people, sure if it not relevant to the life’s people are living.
Looking for sign that we --Christian message followers--are alive….living…relevant…questioning society…got something converse about!
Come on we must have something . . . . . to help peoples theology in Hull.
But there is nothing l can see
that could point others to this . . or that example . . . .

This deeply worries me . . .if we are called to be the light....why aren`t we shining?
gotta ask...

if we are called to be the light....why aren`t we shining?

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
